Been waiting almost an hour for our food. We were told the computer systems were down and our waitress openly admitted to forgetting to put tickets in. She spilled water on us (which was a true accident). The vanilla cold brew was definitely more rum Chata than coffee. It seemed like we were unimportant and were just left alone. Regular coffee cup sat empty for about 30 minutes while our waitress disappeared. The food was delicious if you have the time to wait. It seemed the kitchen staff were to blame since the restaurant was half empty and people were just waiting for food. We kept overhearing other waitresses apologizing for the long wait. Wonderful food! Great service! The only thing really annoying was a guy who thought his "sailing company...Wild Hearts" ...the restaurant appeared to double as his office. Phone calls ...putting calls on speaker...rude and annoying. We thought it was just one day, but loved the food and service so much went back 3 times and there he sat making phone calls and hustling people at other tables. Not the restaurant's problem, but we asked to be seated as far away from him as we could. We were on vacation trying to get away from constant conversations and phones ringing. I am so glad the Waffle House next to our hotel was packed and we drove an extra 10 minutes to get breakfast here! We were greeted warmly at the door at sat immediately (it was about 8am, on Saturday). Our server was friendly, she checked in regularly and got us everything we needed. The coffee was piping hot and delicious. Our food was hot and so good! My 12yo and 3yo shared a kids pancake meal, husband got a traditional with the grits and a biscuit, I had the eggs Benedict with the potatoes. My favorite thing was the grits , but everything was great!! I am mainly posting this review to remember to come here when we're in town again. read more

Great Breakfast Joint One of the few really good breakfast restaurants in Foley. The service is really good with a very attentive wait staff. Large breakfast menu with lots to chose from. The pancakes are really good, fluffy, moist and full of flavor. Their omelets are cooked to perfections and the potatoes are nice and crisp. They have a homemade sausage that no one at our table liked, a very different flavor. Have been their many times and will go back but will stick with the bacon that is really good. Egg-cellent Omelet Mmmmm. Yes, we had a fabulous breakfast at Another Broken Egg on our recent trip to Gulf Shores. Actually, we first discovered ABE on our trip to Gulf Shores a couple of years ago. My wife and I recently visited Gulf Shores, so of course, you go to the beach - you gotta eat, right? Well, one day we decided to eat out for breakfast. What a wonderful breakfast we had. My wife enjoyed her Eggs Benedict; they were just "runny" enough. Oh, and the coffee was great too. I decided to go with the Bacquezo Omelet. I have found my new favorite ABE Breakfast Favorite. First, the Queso was spicy enough without being overpowering. They sprinkled it on top of the omelet - and inside the omelet. Then you hit the bacon and cream cheese on the inside. Mmmm. Each bite was a wonderful sensation. In case you missed it, we liked our breakfast. In fact, chances are very good that we will return to ABE next year for some very good food. We have been here (Orange Beech) a few days and enjoyed breakfast here more than any other place we have eaten. The dining room is nice and the wait staff person had just the right approach; friendly & attentive. We had eggs ( which were cooked perfectly) and sausage which appeared to be fresh ground and hand formed. The sausage actually had spices in it and was delicious. We've eaten here before at another location two years ago and it was wonderful. However, today was a disappointment. The drink glasses had a bad smell - like dirty dishwater. My husband's Bloody Mary was 15+ minutes to get. Our wait for our food exceeded thirty minutes. Once the food arrived, it was not well prepared. My daughter even complained. This place for breakfast does not disappoint!! I have only had one better breakfast ever and that was for being alcohol infused! When being seated our hostess told us to mention that we are first timers to our server and she brought over there version of Beignets our first time having them and they tasted so good paired with the orange marmalade! We also ordered Mimosa's she got a lemon blueberry and I had a apple pie. For not being a champagne fan I liked the taste of these. These two only are tip of the ice burg when it comes to there drink options. Our breakfast selections were lobster and Brie omelette served with grits (my wife's favorite part), and a blackberry cream cheese stuffed French toast with homemade sausage patties! Party of one for breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. Promptly greeted by a very friendly hostess and manager. It was not crowded and the manager gave me my choice of seats. My server, Gina introduced herself and took my drink order. Being my first time here it took me a few minutes to decide and Gina's knowledge of the menu made my choice easier. While waiting on my order Gina kept my cup topped off with coffee. One thing I noticed was every server was smiling and interacting with their tables on a personal level. My server was no different. Very personable, nice smile, menu knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient! My food arrived and it was hot and very good. I had the BLT with avocado and country fries. All in all I'm giving 5 stars based on the overall execution of an awesome dining experience. Clearly the management knows the secret of success begins with great and uniform service.
