My wife has a death allergic reaction to onions and because of cross contamination in the kitchen she was exposed to onions. Regardless of how busy the diner is, the cooks need to take their time to ensure this doesn't happen. Why didn't I speak to the staff? Guests with allergies need to read this and that takes precedent over speaking to a manager who may or not only provide lip service about seeing how this won't hapoen again.

It was refreshing to see that it wasn't the usual cake like kind, plus not the ultra sweet kind either. More bread like with a hint of sweetness. Delicious. But seriously--whether you're a local or just visiting, you have to try Duck's Diner - Gulf Shores. They were kind enough to allow my son to go slightly off menu with a carnitas taco instead of the basic ground beef or chicken and he very much liked it. My chile rellano was quite good as well. And since the chips and salsa always matter to my husband - we also enjoyed these throughout our meal. In fact, I even liked the salsa and don't usually eat it.
