I had to wait another 15 minutes but I guess this wait time is nothing in comparison to not joining the wait list at all. Drinks: this is crucial for Sunday funday. Most ALL of the drinks have champagne, coffee based, or it's a Bloody Mary | only drink that's without champagne is a sangria. They do have regular liquor but none are integrated in signature cocktails on the menu. I wish they had way more drink options with just spirits + liquors. The sangria was ok but had Malibu in it which tasted like college bad decision jungle juice vs sangria lol. Food: the food was pretty good. I got the eggs Benedict. Wow, what a hidden little gem in Pearland! I'm not a big breakfast person but this place was one for the books. My husband and I came on a Wednesday morning (around 11am) and we were seated right away. Great service- our server was good about answering our questions and with our order. Beignets- If you check-in on yelp, then they will give this for free with a purchase of $10 or more. Honestly, this was one of my favorites! It was so tasty, warm, and sweet! It comes with a honey marmalade which is a good combo with the beignets. A MUST try if you come here. Banana Foster Pancake- Now, this wasn't our personal favorite. It might've tasted better with pecans but due to my nut allergy, we didn't get it with pecans. It was too sweet. Mardi Gras Omelette- This was very tasty. Each bite had some kind of meat (crawfish, sausage etc.) and paired well with the omelette itself. The country potatoes were mediocre- nothing special. Biscuit & Gravy- My normal order at any breakfast joint is pancakes or waffles but I thought I'd go savory for this visit (and I'm glad I did). This was so so good! So good! Went for brunch while in Pearland for a softball tournament. The mimosa pitchers are worth every penny, I split it with a girlfriend and we each got 3 glasses out of the pitcher. The cinnamon roll French toast, were also tasty. Not too sweet. The plate is probably big enough to share with with one. They get busy fast but seem to move through tables quickly. The food was great but the service was subpar. The waiter actually walked away from us multiple times to help other customers while in the middle of taking our order. I heard a lot of good things about this place, so when they opened in Pearland, I couldn't wait to try it. It's right off of 288 in a shopping strip with other small restaurants. It's fairly new, so I expected a few set backs coming in. We were seated right away and greeted by our very awesome waitress Jasmine. She was super friendly and answered any questions we had. The menu is pretty big for a breakfast spot. They even have sandwiches and burgers along with brunch items. My wife and I decided to share an appetizer of their city grits. It grits topped with Gouda cheese, roasted garlic, bacon, tomatoes and green onions. It was delicious and pretty filling even though it was shared between 2 people. My wife ordered the Oscar Benedict. It was two poached eggs topped with flat iron steak cooked to order, sautéed crabmeat and asparagus and a rich bearnaise sauce. She substituted the crispy potatoes for Mediterranean potatoes which were red potatoes cooked in garlic oil and topped with fried onions and feta cheese. The flavors were on point with all the items, but the temperature was room temperature. I ordered a boring breakfast of pancakes, eggs and andouille sausage with a side of crispy potatoes. Again, tasty but room temp. I expected a few kinks since it's a new restaurant so I'm not holding anything against them. I will definitely be back and rate them higher if those minor things are fixed. Like I said, everything tastes delicious! read more

The drinks are what carries this place because it's not the food. After cycling with my friends, we decided to check this place out for brunch. I had the salmon Benedict. The restaurant had a different interpretation of it and made it with a bagel. I was confused because they should have just said it was lox and bagels. The pancakes were just ordinary. But the old fashion drink that I had was the hit. I loved the idea of putting a piece of bacon with pancake in it. Everyone was impressed by their drinks but not by the food. What place can make us wake up early on a Sunday morning to drive 10+ miles for breakfast? This one! We have come here 3 weekends in a row and have tried 3 completely different egg dishes. I'm writing this as I'm waiting for the third but I can tell you that the first two have been amazing and we both have gotten different dishes, so that's 4 killer dishes and their coffee is amazing. To add to that, the atmosphere is super cute and the service is unreal. We have had two servers. First time we had Alex and the second and third time we have had Aspen and it doesn't get better than either of them. They both answered questions about the menu and had the best attitude. We never have wanted for anything while we have been here. We have tried the: lobster and Brie omelette, crab cake Benedict, Southwest scrambler and smoked salmon Benedict. If possible, I would rate my experience a zero. Between the manager, Hector and our server, Mallory - it was undoubtedly the worst dining experience I've ever had. We came to the restaurant at to celebrate my sister's birthday with a mid-week brunch; however everything went wrong. The food took exceptionally long for a restaurant that was at 45% capacity - at most. I asked the server if the kitchen was understaffed, she said no. After receiving our food I inquired about the typical order time for our meal. Hector confirmed it should have taken 7 minutes. Not once did he apologize for the excessive wait or the incorrect order, the cold eggs or the missing condiments that we politely asked for. Upon receiving our bill, it was incorrect - like our order. With over a decade of experience in the service industry, at the very least I assumed Hector would comp the bill 10%. Not that we were looking for a handout, because we had intentions on paying - but more of a show of good faith and his appreciation for our service during these trying times. But nope, nothing. The less than $5 the restaurant would have lost in comping the meal is nothing compared to losing a customer. I genuinely felt like no one cared about our business. From the server to the manager. It's truly unfortunate. In this climate where money is tight and unemployment is rampant, we decided to frequent this establishment - only to be treated as though we weren't valued customers. I'm not sure what the customer service policy or customer retention protocols are within the organization, but the Pearland location has certainly missed the mark. read more
