LongHorn never disappoints me. I usually get to go food or curbside, and the service is always good. The food is cooked to order and I've never had any mistakes. Everyone is usually friendly... I order online without any issues The parmesan crusted items are so good. I noticed they now have parmesan crusted fries, but I stuck with my original order and stayed on the healthier side with the grilled salmon even though I really wanted those fries. Everything is seasoned really well and I love that they use fresh vegetables. I noticed that they have green beans. They didn't have them to order. so I'll definitely be back to try those. My personal favorite is ordering the wings extra crispy and adding the Parmesan crust. I never imagined wings would taste like this at Longhorn. I went here last night while rooting for the Seahawks in the SB. I ordered the NY Strip medium rare as opposed to rare like I do in prime steakhouses to be a little safer. I also got mashed potatoes and broccoli for the sides. Every single bite in this meal was very delicious, cooked just right, very juicy and tender. The meat was really well-seasoned and you could taste some cumin notes in it. The beefiness and fat were ideal and the profile wasn't too lean or too fatty. It was a little firm, yet, easy to cut. The mashed potatoes were really tasty and buttery with enough salt in them. The broccoli was so thoroughly cooked and moist without being greasy. Each piece was almost melt in mouth tender. The service from my server was very welcoming, friendly, attentive and efficient. The last time I got a takeout of the exact same as Sunday night, but requested the 7-Spice seasoning added to the steak since the actual 7-Spice Strip is no longer available. It didn't have the brown butter they cook with it along with mine being 12 oz as opposed to that special which was also 14 oz from what I heard. I've tried LongHorn before in California and thought maybe Texas would be better. Well, it wasn't. While service was good, the food was not. I ordered a Jack n Coke. It was way too strong, especially for the middle of the day at lunch. The mushroom appetizer arrived when our food arrived instead of before. The steak was overcooked; my medium ribeye had no pink. I've ordered takeout a few times. I always place an order online and do curbside pick up. I've only dined in once, years ago for a Yelp event. The food is good, but it's definitely not as good as it would be if dining in. I've ordered steak to go twice. I have done the 6 oz. and 9 oz. Flo's Filet. 1st time: I should have ordered it medium like it suggested on the website but I went with medium well. The website warned that the steak will continue to cook, but I live nearby so I figured it wouldn't cook that much longer. My steak was closer to well done when I got home. It still tasted good, but it wasn't as tender as it could have been. 2nd time: I ordered the filet medium, and it was basically well done by the time I got home. It was flavorful and surprisingly pretty tender considering it was overcooked (I had no difficulty cutting it with a plastic knife). I've also had the Chicken Fried Chicken. It's massive! It's good, but extremely salty, especially with the cream gravy. The young man that brought out my meal asked me to double check the order to make sure it was correct because I had asked for no dressing with the salad and no bread. I appreciated that. There's nothing worse than ordering take out and then getting home to discover that something is missing or that the order is completely wrong. Sides: I've had the mashed potatoes a couple of times as well as the fried okra (I love it, even though it's usually too salty). On my most recent visit, I ordered the Brussels Sprouts (which costs extra). The Brussels were good but they had a little too much oil. They had a sweetness to them which I enjoyed. The side salad is good and the bread is good, but they give you a mini loaf of bread so I don't always add it to my order. Bottom line: If ordering steak to go, order it 1-2 temp levels below your preference so that it won't be overdone by the time you get home. First of all, we waited 10-15 minutes to get seated this past Saturday. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. The only reason we went here was that Texas Roadhouse always has a much longer wait time. When we first got there. We overheard the waitress/waiters telling the hostess that they didn't want to seat a table of 8. If you don't want to make money then why even show up to work? We finally get our food after a long wait time and a few of the steaks were overcooked, not well-seasoned, and dry. Came here for my graduation dinner. We ordered a lot of food for a party of 9. My sister ordered a steak , asked for "medium - well" , but received "well done". Steak was too tough to chew. It took her 10 minutes to finish one bite and when she finished, she had lock jaw. We sent it back and our server, the manager and chef came out to ensure the new one was made to perfection. They were more than accommodating to addressing the mistake. Customer service 10/10 Mac & cheese was mid and lacked season. I had to add salt and pepper. 7/10 Texas margarita could've been stronger. 5/10 My father asked for brown sugar butter and I assumed he thought this was another establishment, but our waiter literally put a pack of brown sugar in our butter and served it right up. We were not sure if this was meant to be funny or if he was serious, but either way, 10/10 customer service for him, for either the joke or actually going above and beyond to try. wish I could rate our visit higher because our server was genuinely kind and attentive, but the overall experience at this LongHorn Steakhouse just wasn't good. My mom's salad came with the wrong dressing, and my dad's filet -- ordered medium rare -- arrived well done. His baked potato was also cold. What made the situation worse was the management's response. We were told the manager would bring out the corrected steak, but instead he had the server do it and then walked right by our table without acknowledging the issue or offering an apology. Literally got sat for two minutes when the server came up and asked if I was ready to order when I barely opened the menu. That was the only fast service I got from him as he seemed very uninterested in serving and more interested in hanging out in the kitchen/chatting with the bartender then doing his job. Offered bread but came back five minutes later to tell me they didn't have any made with no eta of when it'll be ready or other option. Asked for something from the bar, saw him go to the bar, talk to someone for a few minutes, then came back five minutes later to let me know they didn't have it. I ordered something to snack on since there was still no bread that the server originally offered and he was gone for twenty minutes. When he came back, I asked for the check. He dropped it off and said, "Guess you got full." The only thing I got full from is the poor service. Side note: you have a server named Randall who is a terrible human being. He has a massive temper who got fired from his last two jobs for stealing and for being inappropriate with the female staff, respectively, when he was a manager. I got the 12 oz NY strip with a side salad and mashed potatoes. My boyfriend got the outlaw with the mac and cheese (additional charge) and a caesar salad. Whitney brought our salads first to enjoy while we waited for our other foods. The rest of the food came out within 10 minutes after we got our salads which was perfect timing. My steak was cooked more on the medium rare and i had wanted medium, due to stomach problems but I didnt send it back incase it would be cooked too long and then itd be overcooked. I didnt want to make a fuss either. Whitney was great, checked up on us once during the meal. I would just say if she could be more observant and refill waters automatically instead of me having to ask that would up the service overall. (Happened the first time too so its not common sense for the waiters there to refill water when they see an empty glass) Other than that, food was great. Came at a good time when it wasn't crowded so the food came out pretty quick and the restaurant was quiet. I had the house salad with Cesar dressing on the side which tasted fresh. I had the Redrock Grilled Shrimp which came on a bed of seasoned rice pilaf that was super tasty and I had their fire grilled corn on the cob. The shrimp was seasoned well and were pretty big. I really was excited about the corn, however, they did not put enough crema and toppings on it so It was lacking flavor. The corn was fresh off the grill though, so at least I was served real grilled corn on the cob. If I could get more toppings on my corn this could have been a five star dinner for me. My husband had a cup of the tortilla soup. I tasted it and it had good flavor. There is an option for a small size salmon and a large. The large portion was a good size. Went there yesterday for my Grandmothers birthday dinner... Katarzyna was our server. Drinks took about 15 minutes to come to our table, 2 waters, a Dr Pepper, and a sweet tea - the tea was over brewed and have tea herbs floating in it. (We didn't complain I just shared the Dr Pepper) Potato soup and Caesar salad came out, they tasted normal nothing to write home about. Dinner came out - strip, outlaw ribeye, and prime delmonico... we were never asked if the steaks came out okay. The ribeye and strip were both over cooked, while the delmonico was cool to touch (my grandmother ordered it and didn't tell us this until later). While there, the server on the table next to use spilled stinky vinegrette dressing all down the front of my grandmother's white blouse, and waited 20 minutes until he came and apologized. The manager never came out - I don't normally complain (see above) but at this point we were livid. Our server didn't even say anything about it to us either. We paid the $150 check and left. This morning my Grandmother woke up with horrible food poisoning and has suffered now with it for over an hour. For safety sake, stay away from this place. read more

I really like this place, and the food is great, along with a great bartender, but this guy comes in while we at the bar eating, disconnects taps, and turns around facing us and starts cleaning them with a brush. This action is not good knowing he is possibly splashing on our food, so I moved over then he took the bucket and turned around as you see in the photo. My rating is more of a 2.5 but I decided to round down... We hadn't been in a while so we decided to come. It was on the later side. I always feel like that affects how things will go. Servers are usually ready to go and don't wanna deal with people coming in later. That's how we felt. We came some about a year prior but didn't end up going on to eat because whoever was hosting was kind of rude. We figured since time had passed we should give it a shot. The food was decent. It wasn't anything to rave about, I was pleasantly surprised by the appetizer dish, but overall everything else was on the mediocre side. Service was not the best, wasn't the worst but again maybe because it was later about 45min or so before they were to close, they seemed stressed out just where to sit us. Complaining that the waitress was just gonna have to deal with more customers. Then when we did get our waitress, she seemed a little Lee than ready to go. Maybe it's better when it's earlier. I think we went on a Friday or Sat night which was probably a bad idea too. We really have no plans on going back. I don't really recommend this particular one. Pearland is still getting more places to eat and hopefully there will be more options in time. Pearland needs to step up their customer service because it's a trend unfortunately. If you're in the area, unless you love their food... I think you can try a different spot. read more
