Great place to go with friends! They serve alcohol too :) Which is always a plus Safe for kids and makes a good babysitter. I purchased some games from them too they have a lot of stuff to choose from is your a geek at heart. They will buy stuff from you too if you need money. I traded them some games I had and got lots of store credit. t's nice to see someone carry on where gamestop was lacking when they stopped carrying older games(sad) but I left gamestop as a customer and shop here now. BIG BUCK HUNT IS HERE Relatively inexpensive beers for those who like a little beer with their nostalgia. There is an EXCELLENT collection of pinball here, they also have House of the Dead, Gauntlet Legends, Mario Cart, DDR et. al. A fun place to swing by for ALL AGES. Anybody can come in, the staff has always seemed nice and nobody hogs any one pinball machine too long. Even on busy nights you'll be able to play some pinball without waiting or without waiting too long unlike some other pinball places I've been (particularly AddABall which has a much larger selection of pinball machines and is also a good time but on a busy night good luck getting a pinball table, and it's a bar so you can't bring your kid sister or whatever). 5/5 for this rockin' arcade from this staunchy mother. They need some customer service training because, every issue here becomes an unhelpable issue( no ticket, no account number) because of the way the employees at the Edmonds store treat the unthinkable action of not being in my ticket from yesterday I will just only shop at the Lynwood location. I understand looking up my order ticket is hard but trying to give the customer excuses on why you can't help them is a bad move. I love the concept of the store I think due to success you have to treat the customers better. The stores are recommended all the time because of how cool they are, the stores now needs to become as helpfull as cool. Let no issue stops us from helping the customer at another castle. Unfortunately every issue has stopped another castle two days in a row at the Edmonds location time to move north. read more

Went to Another Castle and bought a Rockband 4 with the guitar. Pretty happy with it but later I came in and tried to trade in a xbox 360 since I had a PS4. Woman at the counter promptly told me they cannot do a trade in cause they have a big cash trade in before me and they didn't have the money. They told me they would only give store credit. I refused and said I rather have the money and she got snotty and told me Cash America is up the street (Payday advance place). Needless to say I will not go back to Another Castle and will steer any friends away from it as well. At 4pm on a Sunday I'm sure they had enough money and that they were trying to scam me to accept store credit which gives them the biggest savings. The Lynwood one gave me the same exact line when I went there to trade my console in too. read more

Easily the the most chill and accepting communities/establishments in King/Snohomish County. All the games are 25 or 50 cents, huge beer selection, inviting regulars, regular pinball tournaments and karaoke. Never had a bad experience here after 4 years of coming here. Definitely a "go to" for the area. read more

Fantastic! The pinball machines are well maintained. Great new and vintage video games. Plus a couple rare manual arcade games. Super Fun! Good selection of local brews, beverages and snacks. I discovered this place by pure chance. My only suggestion is they need a LARGE sandwich board outside their business stating: Pinball Beer Family Fun Arcade...or something along those lines. read more

If I had a dream job, to work somewhere for the rest of my life, or as long as this franchise exists, it would be THIS PLACE. I grew up playing at the arcade when the Aurora Village Mall still existed (when Ernst and Pay & Pak hardware stores, Woolworth, etc. were still around--way before the whole area was demolished)...I have to believe that whoever the owner is for Another Castle believes in my generation, and also believes that there is still hope for arcades to survive even in this more advanced technological era with emerging nanotech R&D and a more prevalent dependence on mobile technology getting more complex every six months. PLUS THEY SERVE BEER. Nobody would ever say no to that--and they even got an AC Unit from Japan!!! Incredibly space efficient, and there's even a section dedicated to the Buy/Sell/Trade of New & Used video games and matching consoles...including their own personalized merchandise. Pops came in here while I was participating during Karaoke Night days before Father's Day...HE LOVES HOW THEY SERVE BEER (I said that already, right?) Anyways, I have no problem with how they operate, and it's in an area that's not volatile like in Seattle...so if you invite ANYBODY, please don't invite trouble. Visited this place few times with my nephews and it had good range of classic games that kept us entertaining for few hours. If you shop from the store, I would recommend asking them to test the game before you pay. Once you pay for it, you cannot get refund even if game is defective. You are allowed to receive store credit towards another purchase but you won't get refund. You are allowed to ask them to order the replacement but it won't guarantee it will be for the same price. I asked them if they test their games before they sell and store clerk said quote "we only test expensive games". read more

My wife brought me in here a few months ago and had to drag me out. New flashy Pinball machines, classic retro arcades, racing games, fighting games....BEER AND PIZZA!!! I used to go to arcades with my dad as a kid, now my wife and I bring our kids here: Nostalgia meets actual quality family time. Take a time machine to the 90's and you will arrive here. It's definitely marketed towards the 80's babies because they serve beer here, and they have most of the classics. It takes me back and always leaves a smile on my face when I leave, even if I lose in Punch-Out in 60 seconds, because that's how it was for me back in the day anyway hahaha. The facility and the pinball is great. Thank you for Big Guns and Eight Ball Deluxe. Like Bremerton this is very crowded at night. The location leaves much to be desired and the parking is dismal. I parked behind the building and that is just downright scary. I will look for some place better to park and walk on 99 or just come at an earlier time in the daylight. This might even be a ride the bus to it to avoid parking thing. read more

This place is a gamers paradise, the prices are slightly over price in some occasions but most of the time they are just fine. The arcade area is very fun too, they have multiple classics and newer arcade games to. And don't get me started with the amazing costumer service too. Multiple employies help you quickly and efficiently. One minor complaint is their stock off games fluctuate quite a bit. One day I was looking for Chrono Trigger for the DS and they did not have it but two days later, they did. This happens mostly with the DS games though, so dont be too worried. read more

While this place is pretty awesome in terms of games it was not so awesome for a birthday party. It is expensive! You get to "rent" the upper space for $100 an hour which includes nothing! You still have to pay for games and any drinks you want. Plus they had a new person working that had no clue about the party. A little people skills for a long way! read more

My friend told me about ANOTHER CASTLE ARCADE and i was excited knowing that it was a small buisness just trying to make another dollar vs the greedy corporation Returning my used game was not a good experience!!... i had bought my game the night before. i went back to return it simply because i didnt like the game. Mind you, this is the very next day that i tried to return the used game. I had lost my receipt and told the guy at ANOTHER CASTLE ARCADE that i didnt have my receipt and that i simply just wanted to get another game for the equal or less amount. He stated that since i didnt have my receipt, he wouldn't be able to even give me an even trade or store credit for the amount of the game. There for i was just stuck with the game or he would give me almost nearly nothing back to buy the game from me and add the credit towards another game !.... i was in disbelief. I have always supported small buisnesses to help the people grow and achieve. I felt like i was taken advantage of and felt like they didnt care on trying to make it right by simply just doing an even exchange !..... I have always shoped at GAMESTOP and now looks like i will have to continue with them unfortunately. At least i can always trade my used games at GAMESTOP for the equal amount i bought the game for if i dont like the game.
