Then they came out last week again removed our old dryer that was still here from the purchase of our home, and installed a dryer we purchased from them that is not only refurbished, but guaranteed. It's way better than our other dryer and the men installing were very kind and professional. They worked quickly. They had to work around some obstacles and were so impressive on a very hot and humid day. We just had our water heater go out the same week so I'm not going to go pay $1000 for a new dryer just because a new one has smart computer features on it. After making an appointment with someone else, someone I assume is Roger called me finally. The call did not go well. I stated: well, sir I never got a call back from you, so I arranged an appointment with someone else. He claimed I didn't leave a message. I said I did, yesterday... He then said "Oh, yeah...I was just about to call you back about that"...to which I responded, I needed the work done, and 20 hours had passed. He then said he didn't respond because I left the message "after hours"... I pointed out: I left the message at 10AM the previous day. He then acquiesced and stubbornly said "have a nice day". If you want business, return messages. If you want business, make sure you have a single phone number people can reach you at. (there's about 3 for this guy if you search the web)...but most importantly, if you want business...don't argue with a potential customer, or make excuses. Part of being in the service business, or any business is the skill of knowing when to own your mistakes. This was a pretty ridiculous experience.

When you call SEARS you get AI because they don't want to talk to you, NO MATTER WHAT! Sears was horrible, the tech was horrible the serviice was horrible. Then he said it would cost me an additional 600.00 to repair the unit and he wanted the money upfront. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I would give them no stars if I could. I ended up fixing it myself for 150.00 and SEARS was going to charge me 250.00 for the same part and 350.00 for labor. I called Frigidare (they are awesome) and the repair clinic knew just what to do. No wonder Sears is out of business. Bottom line Don't even bother with sears. Go to the repair clinic.
