They followed up with reminder a text and the electrician arrived at the appointed time. The work is completed quickly and to my request. I sent in a request for a quote for a large fan to be installed on a beam about 16 feet high. Jeremy who installed the EV charger to the garage was super kind and professional. He made sure to prep the site appropriately, taped all of my valuable furniture and covered the flooring properly. There had to be some drywall damage done for the project but David was able to pencil me in to the schedule so that drywall appt was the day after the EV charger project which worked out perfectly. Drywall guy was also awesome and did a good job on matching the texture of my wall, all I had to do was to paint! Matt (was the estimator and also the helper for Jeremy on the day of the project) was also super nice to work with! Jeremy and Matt both made sure to keep me posted of the status of the project and also what procedures they are going to perform. This was a full day project for the team given the little complexity of it but it went smooth. There was some hiccups at the very beginning when I first reached out to Anson for a quote. I didn't hear back for long for my estimate related questions, however David was apologetic enough to ensure I received everything I needed. Anson needs better communication between their staff and customers. When I was quoted work, I was told that there was dry wall repair included and to have paint ready. But when the dry wall repair person came, they did not receive instructions to paint. They called the office to clarify, but no one answered. I've been calling the office for weeks to clarify and have not received an answer. On top of everything, I was asked for full payment on the day of the installation, even before drywall repairs were done. I'm tired of living with my furniture displaced, waiting for an answer. read more

Last month, we reached out to Anson Electric to install 34 canned lights and a recessed TV wall outlet. Our job scope shifted several times before the work happened, but David and Teresa were very patient with us. David quoted the costs over Yelp, and Teresa was great in helping us schedule the work. The electricians (Joel, Alfonso, and others) were SO amazing. They recommended how many lights should go in each room after seeing the rooms in person, measured exactly where the lights would go so they were evenly spaced (the lights weren't crooked/misaligned like we've seen in other houses), and gave us a light cone to take to Home Depot to make sure we bought bulbs that would fit. The team was very considerate, masked, and they worked overtime to get our lights installed on a tight schedule, even in a tricky room that didn't have attic access. At the end, there were some miscommunications with their drywall repair subcontractor, but David responded very quickly and had the sub come back out the next day. Our painter left behind some ceiling paint, so it was easy for us to paint over the drywall repair afterwards. We can't even notice there used to be holes! We had an amazing experience with Anson Electric, and it is so nice to have these beautiful lights throughout our home. read more

We had an electrical panel upgrade from 100 amps to 200 amps. We are very grateful and blessed to have gone with this company. I'll tell you why: There was a discrepancy on the SDG&E service order for our upgrade and Dave took the initiate and called SDG&E to resolve the issue and proceed with panel upgrade. Joel, Eddie, and Jose installed new ground material to the main water line and replaced an electrical panel that was decades old and had half a dozen safety hazards. They were in and out in 2 days including getting SDG&E to turn off and on the electrical supply. This new panel also resolved a bad breaker issue we were having with our furnace. This team is quick, efficient, and easy to communicate. We'll be contacting them for further complex electrical issues we have with our home. Highly highly recommend! I gave them another credit card. They charged that card. I found amount later that the initial charge on the visa ACTUALLY DID GO THROUGH. So I was charged twice. Spoke with Amanda to refund the charge to my visa. She stated she would get it resolved by the end of business today. Still haven't heard from back. How hard is it to issue a refund? And I still don't have a quote for the LES strip lights. Hoping to get this resolved. UPDATE: Anson (Teresa) refunded me the double charge and sent a nice apology.
