These Guys were my local dealer, so naturally I went there for all my parts requirements. Getting stuff was usually harder than it need to be; I once ordered an interior trim piece where the wrong part showed-up. It was a few months before I looked at the piece so I didn't bother going back to re-order. The staff was friendly enough but always a little too casual about getting things done quickly; irritating but nothing major. But my last experience was the worst. I'd had a clutch slave cylinder fail so I'd gone in for an estimate. Meanwhile, I'd shopped around and decided to send the car to another shop (in OC!), so I had AVVW close-up the car and paid them for their time. Some months went by and I'm doing an oil + filter change. I find out the ENTIRE lower access panel is GONE, along with all the fasteners. Not only that --- some jackass had used a floor jack to lift the car and crumpled one of the rocker panels. I was furious and went to call the service department when I found the notice that the dealership had closed. I say good riddance! Still took me another $200 to replace the missing bits. The most horrid ever experience. They took my money for a parts deposit in October. I kept leaving messages regarding the progress on the order and never got a reply, suddenly they closed their doors without a notification. Finally I contacted Nissan, what I found out from a message service they left as contact. Nissan didn't have a record immediately of my transaction, luckily I was able to produce a receipt. I brought my Taos here because it loses radiator fluid at 6-7,000' every time I go to local mountains. Happened three times, twice in moderate weather and the last time during snow. Brought car to AV VW for diagnostic and they drove it around and said "sorry, nothing wrong". I said that you would have to replicate at high elevation. Brought car today to strictly German automotive in Van Nuys and they have the machine to replicate high elevation. The hose started to smoke so they identified the problem while I waited. AV VW has asked me to get a car rental when I want an engine light checked, and can't give you a definitive time line for a stupid oil change. It's frustrating to have poor service. read more

Kaitlyn Renteria was able to set up a 10:30 AM appointment, after I called at 9 AM to ask how backlogged they were that day. Got in the car and made the 1 hour drive, and was right on time. Car was in to be serviced by 11:15, and out by 12 noon. 4.5 Qts of Castrol 0w-20 VW 508.00 oil and a new filter installed. Their courtesy car wash service was down today, but not a big deal, the past 2 days have been raining on and off. These guys were exceptional and I went in thinking I was going to have to come back and have to book another appointment they told me during the first observation which was a couple of days that my part was in and they took care of it. This business did a great job fulfilling my request for a service. However, they have one of the worst CS ever. When I first arrived, no one greeted me, or said good morning. Granted, it was early in the morning, the customer should not have to initiate the greeting. With that said, I was willing to let it go. Upon entering to pick up my car, I was told to " hold on" as an associated tucked away into an office with another employee and closed the door. I'm sorry, but having the customer hold while the associate pursues a personal conversation with a fellow associate loud enough for the customer to hear is not only unprofessional, it's also extremely rude. My time is valuable, and CR is extremely important to me. While they handled my request well, the service let a whole lot to be desired. I went there plenty of times for maintenence and never had an issue. Evelyn and sales reps were always very friendly. Aside from that, don't trust them to diagnose and repair your car. They misdiagnose and misrepair. Spent thousands and ended up having to take it somewhere else for the same issue that I initially brought it in for. This time I dropped it off at service, and they are estimating 4 day wait to even look at the vehicle. They don't even offer a loaner vehicle. Their excuse is that they don't have enough techs. I popped a tire in the middle of nowhere in the high desert. After putting in the spare tire I called Antelope Volkswagen, the closest dealer on the way home. Tara was able to confirm they had the tire in stock(nothing short of amazing as this is a 20" 35 series tire) and said they could squeeze me in today. I limped the car into their dealer and Tara was a one woman show helping the customers. They wrote me up and got it taken care of much faster than I anticipated. Don't waste your time here. I used to get excellent service at this location and recently had a total failure of an experience buying my 2019 VW Tiguan SE here. I bought my Tiguan brand new from this location and have had multiple issues with it since brand new. The dealer has failed to fixed the issues and I am now dealing with Volkswagen of America to issue a buyback for this car as it is unsafe to drive and the dealer doesn't seem to care at all. Try to not deal with Joe because he vanishes from sight and will respond to your text or calls once in a blue moon. Pro tip, avoid Volkswagens with chrome trim (sadly on the higher tier packages) as you can see in the photos my car is brand new and the chrome trim on the doors on both sides of the car is coming loose already. Unfortunately I think Volkswagen really cheaped out on the new long wheel base Tiguan in places they should not have. read more

Stay far away from this dealership. They will smile in your face, and then point you to the fine print after you've bought it. They sent two thugs to my door thinking I owed something because they couldn't keep their paperwork straight about contact information. Update April 23rd, the dealership is failing to provide a loaner car, so that my vehicle can be serviced and repaired. This is a safety sensor issue, and they are refusing to provide a vehicle until it's convenient for them. This dealership has cool maintenance/service staff, the phone staff is sub-par, and sales staff will return you call once in a while if it benefits them. They have very poor document chain control, and their phone system was done by amateurs. I do not recommend buying a Volkswagen. NTSB Safety report has been filed. They are not currently quality vehicles. I am now stuck with this 2018 Passat. Many corners were cut, literally... They couldn't even spare an extra half inch of extra fabric so it would stay under the side moulding. Many safety feature issues, and sensor failures under barely icy conditions. read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I am an active duty owner of a 2019 Atlas with a bumper to bumper warranty and 1 torn 2nd row seatbelt. After paying 160 dollars for them to "inspect" for cause, they felt it didn't meet the requirement of "mechanical failure" and requested 1000 dollars for the repair. I tried calling customer care who told me they stand by their branch. I don't know what possible reason a car owner would cut their own seatbelt, but every vw employee I talk to tells me their company/product is not at fault. I am super dissatisfied and would recommend looking for another car company if you respect a good deal, ethics, and avoiding headaches and empty bank accounts. read more

Blown away by the service department here! My car was in and out the same day and the cost was economical. There was COVID precautions in place so my car had a plastic covering set on the seat and on the steering wheel. These people sure care about their customer's health! I would def recommend my friends and family to take a visit and also look at the cars available. I just bought a VW Tiguan 2018 pre-owned and let me tell you that the process was quick and without issues. 10/10 would recommend. Run! My car a little over 10k miles. What turned into an oil change turned into an absolute nightmare! Told them some squealing on the brakes were transpiring. I get pulled aside and I have two torn CV boots. I was told I must have bumped something. They perform a software update on the vehicle after we drive it off the lot not even 1/4 of a mile. The car is smoking to death and doesn't accelerate. Complained and carried on and finally we will fix your CV boots and the problem with exhaust. Keep in mind, there was absolutely no exhaust prior to their service department touching my vehicle. read more

Pros: These people know how to treat people. Cons: Nada. The GM, David Pharis, contacted me via Autotrader to buy my 2018 Tiguan. He and the two other gentlemen I worked with were all straight shooters. From the jump, David was reasonable, honest and congenial. The same was true for Jayson Jones and Joe Clunich. From the second I set foot in the dealer, the cashier greeted me with a smile than walked me over to Joe. Honestly, the whole process couldn't have gone better! I had never sold a car to a dealer before (only done trade-ins) and I was prepared for anything, shenanigans included. It's amazing how pleasant buying (or in this case, selling) a vehicle can be when you're dealing with virtuous people. The entire process was seamless and I was given the exact figure David and I had agreed to. Joe is a super cool dude. The kind of guy you would want to be in a foxhole with because you would be entertained and he'd also have your back. The whole thing was so fun, it felt more like getting to know someone than doing a deal. Joe has a true talent for connecting with people and putting them at ease. This dealership can't schedule a service appointment. They will schedule an appointment for you to drop your car off and you leave it there for 2-3 days and they will diagnosis it. I don't understand why they can't manage their workflow better. Save yourself the hassle and make the extra drive to a dealership elsewhere who can actually schedule an appointment and do the diagnosis during the scheduled appointment. This review is specifically for Mr. Carlos Herrera. After getting exactly what I wanted (2019 Tiguan SEL R Line). Thank you Dago and Joe. There was an issue with my bank, Carlos immediately jumped into action and went out of his way to correct the problem. Not only did Mr. Herrera secure financing through another institution, he was able to lower my interest rate by 4.77 percent! As a result, my monthly payment was reduced by 55 dollars and saved me over 4100 dollars over the life of the loan. If this isn't the greatest example of the absolute best customer service you can possibly get, I don't know what is. Mr. Herrera is the absolute best at his profession. My recent experience was horrible, 0 stars, Jim and Sam are horrible salesmen, don't fall for their intentional lies and "Errors". I no longer trust this location and truly feel violated and defrauded, they wanted me to trade in my car and added more than 3,000 in warranties that they claim comes with the car but it's actually optional. My advise is before you purchase a car do your research and don't let people like this team of salesmen buy you're peace and dignity. I went to get my oil change yesterday because I had a coupon, I usually go to valley volkswagon on 6th East in Palmdale. Everything went well but this morning I try to start it up and it wouldn't start, wouldn't even make a sound. Was completely dead. It turns out they left my headlights on and I didn't notice because it was broad daylight . I had to call out of work and my husband had to jump it. It was pretty frustrating. So I used their online shopper tool. Worked everything out through that. The car was priced at $16,577 online. They adjusted the deal online and they told me to look at the deal. When I opened the link to my deal the car was suddenly priced at $18995 and there was an extra charge of over $2300 for 'certification fees'. I told them that I would not be purchasing it because their pricing was deceiving. I was told that their General Sales Manager would like to talk to me because there was obviously a misunderstanding on my part. Not sure what that misunderstanding could be because I wanted to purchase the car at the advertised price not the price inflated by $5000. So at a minimum I would be careful dealing with these folks. Or better yet look at VWs at another dealership. read more
