I was feeling a little stressed and came to yelp to get mover quotes from multiple movers. I ended up picking Sunshine Moving and was so grateful they were able to accommodate a next day move for a very reasonable price and they did a great job for us. The movers showed up early at the ABF location. I was so happy to see them as we were already there. They helped us unload the items from the container to their truck and then drove to our place. They did a great job and were very careful with our items. There is a 3 hour minimum but they were done well before then since we opted to do the unpacking of the boxes ourselves. They did help us bring the heavy items up the stairs and placed them in the location we requested. I would definitely use them again for our next move.

For approximately $650 for about 3 hours of work, I expected a reasonable level of care, organization, and professionalism. While the team did move my belongings into the storage unit, the way everything was packed showed a clear lack of attention to detail. Large, fragile items like my flat-screen TVs were placed directly at the unit's entrance, making them vulnerable to damage. Boxes were stacked without any clear organization; many were turned around so that labels were not visible; and items were not arranged stably or logically. Several belongings I specifically wanted to keep accessible are now buried and difficult to reach. Additionally, some items were packed into boxes by the movers without any labels or indication of what was inside, making it even more difficult to locate essential items. Trash -- including food waste -- was also left behind in my cart, which created a strong odor and is completely unacceptable in a storage environment. I had communicated ahead of time that I was not feeling well, and I was reassured that the team would take care of everything so I wouldn't have to worry. I did briefly step away to get cash for payment and ensure nothing was left behind at the apartment, and when I returned, the truck had already been fully unloaded and packed into the unit. Despite this, I had provided clear instructions on how certain items (especially electronics) should be handled and stored, but they were not followed. I am only now able to fully assess the condition of the unit after recovering from illness, and the issues with how everything was packed are still clearly evident. Even without constant supervision, I expected a basic level of professionalism. Instead, the packing felt rushed and careless, and I now have to go back and reorganize the unit myself. I reached out to at least 5 other moving companies and Little Guy's rate made the most sense, they didn't charge additional fees like an administrative fee or random fees that other companies do. They charged me 120/hr cash or 130/cc. Two movers arrived to my home right on time, it was great. In the past, other moving companies have arrived late. The two men (Mr. L and Mr. E) who assisted me with my move were friendly and professional. They did a wonderful job wrapping my furniture and making sure all my items were secure. I thought their pace was fair and efficient. Mr. L and Mr. E worked hard and it was truly appreciated. Jan 2026: I hired this moving company again and they did a great job. I had a problem with my storage unit key which made us run late but both Jennifer (admin) and Mr. A were so understanding. I felt terrible that I messed up with not having my storage key but the team was so kind. The move was quick and efficient. Both movers were friendly. One of the movers did look very young though. On a side note, their prices did increase by $10, I believe. I would 100% recommend this moving company and will be using their services in the future.
