He also replaced a garbage disposal for us. He was very responsive, easy to work with and did a great job. Highly recommend for plumbing and miscellaneous maintenance work.

Out of all the jobs that he was hired to do, none were done correctly. First, the shower system and the shut-off valves were installed using Sharkbite push-to-connect fittings which are typically a DIY solution and are far less reliable compared to the standard methods for installing on CPVC and Pex piping. We know from talking to other plumbers that Sharkbite is not what professional plumbers would use in this setting. Second, he claimed that the broken toilet flange could only be replaced by cutting open the ceiling below, which i did not want to do. He ended up installing a $5 spanner flange on top of the broken flange (see pic). Again, this is something a DIY-er could easily do. We asked another plumber afterwards and he told us that the toilet flange could have been replaced without having to open the ceiling below. Lloyd charged us $700 for the parts and labor on this job. We communicated our concerns to Lloyd over email after finding out about the subpar work, but unfortunately we never got any response. We had to pay again to have the work re-done by a professional to ensure our peace of mind that the job was done correctly. I hope this review is useful to anyone who is looking to purchase his services.
