    15 inch pie

We usually love this location for it's convenient pick up and the quality of it's food, but lately it's been going downhill. The last order we made was for a 16in meatball and ricotta. The first thing I noticed was the crust seemed rather thin. It really had the texture of a regular oven pie, not what we are used to from the coal oven. The other issue was that it was a full inch smaller than it should have been. Now while it might not seem like a big deal, when you pay nearly $30 for a pizza, you should get what you pay for. That one inch difference amounts to Anthony's overcharging about $4 a pie. Not sure we'll be back.

We have Anthony's in Florida, and I'm guessing that's where they reign from. Lots of dolphins football memorabilia around the shop. A little piece of my home state here in Jersey. I Joined the rewards program, and my free 12 inch personal pizza with sign up was going to expire today. Couldn't seem to place my order for pick up, so I headed over to dine in for lunch on a Saturday. Not full at all. Lots of football games playing on the TVs. Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the traditional pizza that works with the sign up reward. None of the pizzas worked with the redemption qualifications online, so I think you do need to come in to the restaurant to use the coupon. I ordered a glass of the California Pinot Noir . It was good. Pizza arrived not too long after, piping hot and smelling like freshly baked bread. For a simple traditional pizza it was exactly what you want. Light flakey crust with lots of gooey mozzarella and a tasty Pomodoro sauce. I ate three slices, and saved room for dessert. Got recommendations from the server and went with the tiramisu. She had suggested the chocolate cake, but I wasn't in a chocolate mood. Next time. The tiramisu was exactly what I was craving. It was a good meal. They have happy hour Sunday through Friday from 3:30 to 6 PM. This is so close I will definitely come back.

Day old pizza given for carry out! It was disgusting!
    Kimber C.

They gave us DAY OLD PIZZA!!! We just had the worst carry out experience ever. The pizza was absolutely disgusting. I know what day old pizza looks and tastes like and that's EXACTLY what they gave us. The cheese was reheated and peeling off the crust. The blobs of sauce were fresh but the crust was stale and gross. We have been local Anthony fans for years and usually go to the Clifton location. Never had an issue with eat in or carry out. We recently moved closer to the fair lawn location and thought to give them a shot. Literally never ever again are we going back here. I would rather drive further for the other location and avoid this experience ever again. Check your carry out before you walk out the door.

Finally made it back, yikes, also took pics of the food for the 1st time in like 10 times I've been here lol.. LOVE THIS PLACE, their pizza is THE BEST, the wings TO DIE FOR! Went with my little brother, twin sister and her bf, we ordered a Carnivori Square large pizza and a "Traditional which was free" plus Arugula, Prosciutto and Onions! Delicious (this is my go to one! Yummyyy ).. Also loveeeeee their wings as stated on my previous review, we ordered the order of 20 wings, and mixed 10 Dry Rub, and 10 Original wings! Jay/Jason was our server, 10 Stars service!! Very good customer service skills, and super friendly !! The ambiance is always good, music is not low but is not crazy loud you can definitely enjoy it and talk .. Recommend this place! WORTHY OF ANYTHING!

Well staffed, clean, and they make the pizzas great! Perfect for happy hour, a date, or a family dinner

We ordered pizza and wings for pick up tonight. After the 5 minute drive home, our pizza was a little cool, but still tasty. We got the eggplant Marino. It was good, but a little sweet for me. The wings were perfection as always. The salty wings, caramelized onions and seasoned focaccia marry so well together. I probably wouldn't order the eggplant pizza again, just personally not a fav. We normally get the Paulie's Pie and it's always delicious. We'll definitely be ordering/coming in again.

    Disappointing Margarita pie

So I received a comment from the restaurant Asking me to Share my contact information with them. I did and guess what no one even got in touch with me. Why bother asking if you're not going to follow up. Add poor customer service to my review Picked up margarita pie. Very disappointing especially for what they charge. Pie not hot No basil except one large droopy piece. Known for crispy even burnt crust- this was

I'm really not a big fan of chains and I love Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. That should tell you everything in a nutshell right there. Their pizzas are well done and thin crust. You don't get that as an option. That's just how they do it. If it's not for you then don't come here. You've been warned!! So don't come crying to yelp about it after. I LOVE thin crust and well done pizzas so it's not super surprising why I like this place so much. But besides the pizza their wings and salads are good too. I like the dry rub wings a lot. Their arugula burrata salad is also amazing but anything with burrata is an automatic home run for me. My only complaint is their pizzas are on the small side. Even if you order a large. They're smaller than your average pizzeria and for the same price. Still, good pizza is good pizza.

I can't believe i forgot to take a picture of my cauliflower pizza. I joined my cousin, Mary C. here for lunch, because it was the closest location with a parking lot. The day before was National Pizza Day, so we were celebrating a day late. It's a clean, typical "Italian" chain restaurant, specializing in coal fired pizza. We were seated quickly by our friendly waitress and our drink orders were immediately filled. For an appetizer, we got the wings, and for our pizza, we split a large cauliflower pie. The wings are decent. They seem to be baked, with a simple seasoning of salt and pepper, but topped with lightly caramelized onions. I wouldn't go out of the way for them. The large cauliflower pie was very filling. It has a creamy sauce, instead of a tomato based one, and the roasted cauliflower on top was great and garlicky. It's probably good for at least 4. We took most of it home. Prices were good too, the cauliflower is the most expensive pizza and it was only a little over $20 for a large. A fine choice for slightly different pizza.

Who would put a burnt meatball like this in someone's order?

We grabbed a table on a Saturday night we were immediately impressed by the amazing smells upon entering . I spent my summers in Italy growing up and this place took me back . Our wonderful waitress and over and left some bread and oil while we looked at the menu. We agreed upon the califlower as an app . Hubby had the eggplant parm and I did the pasta with shrimp and broccoli . We also got a side of broccoli rabe, the meals also came with a nice side salad . The portions are a realistic smaller size and delicious. Unbelievably so! Fresh and great quality olive oil is used you can taste the difference. We were going to splurge and get dessert but they only had chocolate cake or ice cream so we declined . It is a byob. We honestly already said we will be going again next week! The service was lovely--our waiter was kind, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. We started with the fried artichoke hearts (a must!), burrata, calamari, mozzarella sticks, and the zucchini and eggplant chips--LORDY, those were insanely good. Every appetizer was better than the last. The main dishes were just as impressive. The chicken parm was crispy and flavorful, the gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and the sole francese was delicate and delicious. We were passing plates around the table because no one could decide which dish was their favorite! It's BYOB, which made it feel even more relaxed and special. The menu isn't massive, but they cover every category with extreme precision and do it really well. Seafood, pasta, veal, chicken, and all the classic appetizers you can think of from stuffed artichokes, zucchini blossoms, and house-made burrata. The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.

Next was rigatoni with oil and garlic and I gotta say I don't know what they did to the roasted garlic but it was amazing, like I was picking all the little pieces out of the pan it was so good. Then we got the sausage and peppers and if that wasn't enough they threw in meatballs with it as well. There was more than enough food for the 4 of us and we are big eaters. We settled on burrata and a fried vegetable appetizer. The burrata was good but the fried thing was even better. I wish I could remember what it was because it was so good. I guess that's what I get for writing my reviews 2 months later. It was some kind of vegetable stuffed with cheese, battered and fried. It wasn't too oily and all the flavors and textures went well together. For our entrees we went with linguini in clam sauce and cavatelli, broccoli rabe, & sausage. The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me. The different textures and flavors really made it a joy to eat. The pasta was al dente while some of the sausage had some crispy bits to it. And the broccoli rabe kind of made me feeling like I was eating somewhat healthy The ambiance was nice if not a little dated. Not bad though, it was cozy. I'd come back, but not too often.
