Ordered a large order of garlic knots and every single one was burnt BLACK on the bottoms and the garlic burnt off. Tasted like old bread.

I only come for buffalo chicken slices when I'm working in the area, so the rating is strictly based on that.

I placed an online order while I was at work, and everything exceeded my expectations. My order was…read moreready quickly, right on time, served hot, and all of the ingredients were incredibly fresh. I ordered the Pineapple Express pizza, which included ricotta cheese, jalapeños, pork belly (if I'm not mistaken), ham, and fresh basil on the side. The combination of flavors was absolutely amazing, and it was one of the best specialty pizzas I've had. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish, and I have absolutely no complaints. This was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be ordering again. They've earned a repeat customer!

Grumpy's has quickly become one of my go-to spots for takeout in Saddle Brook…read more The sourdough pizza was outstanding. The crust had the perfect balance of chew and crispness, with a great flavor that sets it apart from your average pizza shop. Every slice held up well and had just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The wings were another highlight, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The fries arrived hot and crispy, which is always appreciated when ordering delivery. What impressed me most was how quickly everything arrived. The food was fresh, well-packaged, and tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen. If you're looking for great pizza, quality wings, and reliable delivery, Grumpy's is definitely worth a visit. OUTSTANDING!!! If…read moreyou like authentic Italian food and not the sauce heavy oil laden foods most local places make then try this place!!! We grabbed a table on a Saturday night we were immediately impressed by the amazing smells upon entering . I spent my summers in Italy growing up and this place took me back . Our wonderful waitress and over and left some bread and oil while we looked at the menu. We agreed upon the califlower as an app . Hubby had the eggplant parm and I did the pasta with shrimp and broccoli . We also got a side of broccoli rabe, the meals also came with a nice side salad . The portions are a realistic smaller size and delicious. Unbelievably so! Fresh and great quality olive oil is used you can taste the difference. We were going to splurge and get dessert but they only had chocolate cake or ice cream so we declined . It is a byob. We honestly already said we will be going again next week! Please do yourself a favor and visit!

The service was lovely--our waiter was kind, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. We started with the fried artichoke hearts (a must!), burrata, calamari, mozzarella sticks, and the zucchini and eggplant chips--LORDY, those were insanely good. Every appetizer was better than the last. The main dishes were just as impressive. The chicken parm was crispy and flavorful, the gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and the sole francese was delicate and delicious. We were passing plates around the table because no one could decide which dish was their favorite! It's BYOB, which made it feel even more relaxed and special. Total hidden gem--we'll definitely be back!!!!

Nice place, good pizza and a fun place to go with friends…read more I had a lunch meeting here the other day and we enjoyed the good service, and a great sausage pizza. It was nicely cooked with a thin crust and the right amount of char on it. We ordered iced teas with it, no alcohol because it was a work day, but everything was good and our waiter was quick to refill our glasses. Glasses. She was extremely pleasant and checked in with us often. This was a good place to go on a rainy day and enjoy some time out. I think it's a good place for groups who want to get together for pizza. I'm not usually a chain fan but this was pretty good.

Went to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Fairlawn (actually meant to head to the Wayne location --…read morewrong address in the GPS, but ended up here) and had a pretty disappointing experience at the outdoor bar. We asked to change the TV from a Spanish-language soccer broadcast to something else since none of us could follow along. Simple request, but the manager seemed put off by it. He handed the remote to a young bartender, who struggled with it for a while before handing it back to him. Instead of just asking what we'd actually want to watch, he put on baseball -- never asked, never checked in, just picked something and moved on to chat with what looked like regulars at the bar. It came across like our comfort wasn't really a concern once he'd "handled" it. Service issues aside, the real letdown was the attitude. As I was leaving and pushing in my barstool, a waiter dropped a can and some silverware near my feet. I told him not to worry about it, nothing got on me -- and the manager, who was nearby chatting with another regular, chimed in with a dismissive "no harm, no foul." Not exactly the tone you want from someone managing customer relationships. The food is fine, but the way this manager handled two small, easily fixable moments left a bad taste. A little more attentiveness and basic customer service awareness would go a long way here.
