Ordered a large order of garlic knots and every single one was burnt BLACK on the bottoms and the garlic burnt off. Tasted like old bread.

I only come for buffalo chicken slices when I'm working in the area, so the rating is strictly based on that.

OUTSTANDING!!! If…read moreyou like authentic Italian food and not the sauce heavy oil laden foods most local places make then try this place!!! We grabbed a table on a Saturday night we were immediately impressed by the amazing smells upon entering . I spent my summers in Italy growing up and this place took me back . Our wonderful waitress and over and left some bread and oil while we looked at the menu. We agreed upon the califlower as an app . Hubby had the eggplant parm and I did the pasta with shrimp and broccoli . We also got a side of broccoli rabe, the meals also came with a nice side salad . The portions are a realistic smaller size and delicious. Unbelievably so! Fresh and great quality olive oil is used you can taste the difference. We were going to splurge and get dessert but they only had chocolate cake or ice cream so we declined . It is a byob. We honestly already said we will be going again next week! Please do yourself a favor and visit!

We came to Iachetti's Kitchen for a last-minute Father's Day dinner and were completely blown away…read more This cozy little Italian spot turned out to be one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The service was lovely--our waiter was kind, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. We started with the fried artichoke hearts (a must!), burrata, calamari, mozzarella sticks, and the zucchini and eggplant chips--LORDY, those were insanely good. Every appetizer was better than the last. The main dishes were just as impressive. The chicken parm was crispy and flavorful, the gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and the sole francese was delicate and delicious. We were passing plates around the table because no one could decide which dish was their favorite! It's BYOB, which made it feel even more relaxed and special. Total hidden gem--we'll definitely be back!!!!

    - Decent-sized restaurant with tables spaced far enough apart to make for a comfortable dine-in…read moreexperience; was very busy on a Friday evening during dinner, but the space didn't feel cramped - Service was a bit hit or miss; our waitress was very attentive at first--checking in several times and eager to take our order--but after we ordered, it was hard to get her attention and follow-up was limited - Food was good, though not particularly memorable--the large salad was fresh and nicely dressed (just be sure to toss it well, as the dressing settles at the bottom); the kid's spaghetti and meatball came out hot with a pleasantly tangy sauce--served with a warm, toasted garlic knot; the pizza had a thicker crust and was generously loaded with toppings, but the bottom was a bit too charred, and there wasn't quite enough sauce toward the edges, leaving parts of the crust a little dry

THE FOOD ----------------…read more= Carnivori Pizza - Was OK. 16" was cut tavern style and more than enough for our family of 4. Lots of haphazardly spread pepperoni, sausage, meatballs and bacon toppings and the toppings DEFINITELY made it better. Not enough tomato sauce IMO and undercarriage and crust was a litttttle too "doughy" and thick for my taste. Lots of black ashiness from the oven on the bottom of the pizza too. + Anthony's Classic Italian Salad - The large was plentttttty of salad for our family. Made up of romaine, there were lots olives, tomatoes cut into 8ths and 1 whole egg cut into quarter slices. All of the dressing was on the bottom, so mix it well if you want to taste that Italian dressing! + Kids Spaghetti and Meatballs - Just enough to feed 2 toddlers. Sauce was tangy. Meatball was solid. = Menu consisted of plenty to choose from - starters, roasted wings, salad, pasta and quite a few specialty pizza pies. Pizza pies were a bit on the pricier side though, especially the specialty 16" at $27.99. THE SERVICE ------------------- + All of our food came out very blazingly fast after we ordered, so we didn't have to wait long to stuff our faces. = Waitress was cordial, but not overly friendly to us like she was to a neighboring table of, I guess, more chatty adults. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Located in the Fair Lawn Promenade directly off Route 4 in Fair Lawn, so very easy to find off of the highway. + Plenty of parking spaces at the strip mall. + Big bar towards the front of the restaurant with TVs scattered inside. = Restaurant is mid-size, but feels on the smaller side during peak dining times on weekends when it's jam-packed. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------- = Was super busy at 6 PM on a Friday evening, but only waited about 5 minutes for a table. When we left at 7:30 PM, a few parties were waiting to be seated, so their wait might have been a bit longer.
