Such incredible ambience. There's no more beautiful place to have a drink and some mussels. It's peaceful and serene and feels a million miles away.

My parents treated me to a birthday dinner in their neighborhood. We dined at 5pm to take advantage of the 3-course meal for $35. Definitely a good call. The restaurant has beautiful views of the water and the marina. Service wasn't particularly warm, but efficient. We wanted to take advantage of the rhubarb seasonal desserts, so appreciated the suggestion to take home the desserts from the price fixe menu. We didn't care for the rhubarb cocktails (much too sweet) but they were taken away without any comment and removed from the final bill. My parents love the chowder, and enjoyed it. I didn't care for the consistency. The shrimp cocktail was a fun retro flavor. Crispy celery, creamy sauce, and the shrimp was cooked well. We all ordered the sole almondine and substituted roasted potatoes for the rice. The potatoes were good, as was the accompanying asparagus. The fish was breaded, and topped with ground almonds which were warmed in butter. The bottom piece of fish was unfortunately soggy, and I prefer an almondine sauce when it's made with sliced almonds. It was a little flat tasting. But overall, the dish was good. The desserts were average. The sugar crust on my father's creme brûlée was too thick and flamed a little too hard. The slump was tasty, but the ratio of filling ro cake was unbalanced (too much cake). The cheesecake was a good texture and the rhubarb sauce was nicely tangy. Overall, a mice evening and worth $35 for a 3-course meal.

Raw Oysters on the Half Shell

We drove on out to the Des Moines location as closest to our home. I really wanted those oyster shooters being advertised on Facebook. The dining area and bar was packed but found some spots and hob-nobbed with locals at the bar. Got a drink, oysters for wife and some shooters. The oysters in the shooter were as pictured, plump, tasty with some cocktail sauce - loved them. Was thinking of another round when found wife wasn't so happy with the sad dozen micro-oysters she was serviced. Somehow, I realized the second level resturant was serving better oysters similiar to what was being used in the oyster shooter and we relocated to top level of the resturant. What a difference, different menu, was a fine dining experience - just what we needed so stepped up to the next level. Another dozen oysters, a few more oyster shooters, another round of cocktails, watched the beautiful sunset, fantastic service from the staff, we were totally relaxed and amazingly happy. Definitely will be back and promised my wife 2-3 dozen oysters the next time.

I attended an event at Anthony's Homeport. The place is huge multi-level. The location is great, especially on a sunny day with the marina in its full glory and the waterfront setting is perfect. The decor is vintage and so is the food. The salad was ok, the salmon was good and the steak was decent. If you are looking for a good place for a palate reset, this is it. They have AYCE tempura battered shrimp Mondays for 30 bucks. Plus other specials almost every day. One standout is the service where the staff takes the time to check on you and make your experience memorable. And easy free parking with validation. What's not to love!

I am a big fan of Anthony's! The have several locations in the Northwest and usually have amazing waterfront views. They spend a little more on the inside decor and have huge windows that highlight the waterfront views. This location is no different. They also have the buying power to get good deals on fresh seafood. One must order when you come is the clam chowder - one of the best I've had. Today I had wild salmon tacos for lunch and my wife had the blackened rock port fish tacos and went with lettuce instead of tortillas. We had a wonderful lunch and will be back.

Came in around 2 pm on a Sunday and got seated promptly for a table for 2. View was nice, even being seated indoors. Server was kind and quick. Food and drinks were great as well. Validated parking was nice and you're able to scan a QR code to pay your bill which was convenient.

Found this place while traveling and had a layover in Seattle…read more The vibes and atmosphere is amazing I loved it here felt like a local pub that's not located in the airport. Our server was amazing. Attentive and friendly. We ordered Calamari and Crab Mac n Cheese. The Calamari was great, tender and full of flavor. The crab Mac was just ok, It was bland and not a lot of flavor. It definitely has potential just needed basic salt and pepper and maybe some seafood seasoning because it really didn't have and flavor even the crab.... Other than that we enjoyed our time there and if we are ever back in Seattles airport I wouldn't mind coming here to try other menu items.

Salty's at the Sea -- Seattle-Tacoma International Airport…read more We genuinely sought out Salty's at the Sea after seeing all the positive things posted online, so we were excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience was a little more conflicting than what we had expected. I ordered the steelhead with potatoes and seasonal vegetables, while Dan ordered the crab mac and cheese. We started with the crab toast and paired everything with a Coke for me and their Tropical Tea for Dan. The drinks were good, and the crab toast was even better. Dan really enjoyed the crab mac and cheese as well. Unfortunately, my entrée fell short of expectations. The steelhead itself was good, but the rice substituted for the potatoes was hard and clearly undercooked, and the broccoli was also quite hard. The rice was offered as a substitute because they were out of potatoes, and I have absolutely no issue with a substitution--especially in an airport. But when you're paying $120+ for a meal, the sides should still be properly prepared. One other thing to keep in mind if you're traveling: we had our carry-on and personal bags with us. We were asked not to place our belongings on the nearby tables. We noticed that guests seated at some of the surrounding tables were able to use nearby tables and high chairs for their belongings, so the policy felt a little inconsistent from where we were sitting. Overall, our review reflects our experience, which unfortunately left us disappointed and feeling like the meal didn't live up to the hype we had seen online. The fish was good, the starter was good, Dan enjoyed his entrée, and the service itself wasn't the overall main issue. It was primarily the quality of my sides and the overall value that left us feeling let down. That said, maybe it was simply a bad day for them. We're not saying this is necessarily representative of every visit, but based on our experience, we left feeling pretty disappointed after having such high expectations.
