First time to visit. Came during my lunch break, walked in , and saw that there were several people in there and 1 waitress was talking to a table. I had no idea if I sat myself or if I had to wait to be seated. No one welcomed me. Went up to the counter and looked around and started looking at menu and still was not greeted by an employee. Delicious pizza! My daughter and I have been there twice for slices of pizza and a salad. Their pizza crust is delicious! I love that they have a variety of pizzas that you can get slices of. This place will never get my business again! I have came here with family and many times before only to be serviced by rude employees. The one employee Eva was by far the worst person who ever serviced me! I dont care how long a person has worked there, when your service is horrible there is no coming back!! She threw my pizza box on the counter and handed me a bunch of change with a sorry explanation of not having enough bills. And on top of that rudely told me I could not eat the pizza I paid for in the restaurant. I did not ask for it to go and I have never ordered pizza and been asked to leave. I will never take rude treatment from anyone especially bad customer service from this place and that employee!!!! I am a pizza fanatic. From Cincinnati, we have a local business that has their own style, but I LOVE this crust. The slices were enormous and price competitively. Great customer service and our waitress was very attentive. I ordered a 14" pepperoni and spinach, and side salad. Pizza Came out piping hot. A little too much spinach for my liking but you can just remove it so not a big deal. The salad was good, but not served with croutons? Not sure if they had any, I didn't ask, the ranch dressing was decent, nothing spectacular, but the portion was generous. Definitely a place to stop at if you love thin crust, fresh pizza. read more

Taste wise this place is a must the pizza is made nice and fresh and any pizza lover would have no complaints staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. I ordered 3 extra large pizzas but to my suprise they didnt seem extra large more like a little bigger then medium and for the 3 pies it was a whopping 59 dollars 60 just about so if you want pizza to satisfy your taste buds here is a must and if you want pizza to disatisfy your wallet here is a must as well. read more

Can't speak for the food, as we did not stay! Walked in last night around 6:30pm. Sign says to "seat yourself". Walked to empty booth and asked man in kitchen if we could sit there and he said, "sure, no problem, let me get someone to set it for you." At seeing us, an extremely rude waitress angrily yells at us in front of everyone and says, "NO!! You can not sit here! We are wrapping silverware here! There are plenty of tables in the front, go find one there!" There were two small tables right by front door and I it was cold! We turned around and walked right back out. The table wouldn't have been such an issue and I can't speak about the food however because this staff member was so nasty and rude we will never be back! To the owner of this establishment, I would recommend employing servers who actually want to be there and are welcoming and warm to your customers. Preferably one who is more focused on catering to your customers, and less on your silverware. Not someone uneducated, untrained and so extremely unprofessional. We have been coming here for years. We knew most of the staff and always had a great experience. That all ended today. The entire staff was new. The waitress went to the table next to us and spilled a drink on the table. Then she came over to us and we gave her our order. We ordered our usual pizza and when we ordered our carafe of wine we asked if they still had white zinfandel and she said she did not know so we order Pinot Grigio. She asked to repeat the wine order because she did not understand, so I did. Then she said 2 glasses and I said yes. She brought 2 glasses of warm wine and I asked about the carafe which confused her. She said she would bring the bottle. The manager came over and I said our waitress was having problems understanding our order. He said that they did not put the wine in the cooler so he could bring me warm wine. We said no thank you and that we would go somewhere else. He said have a nice day! We also were surprised that they were not busy at lunch today, now we know why. This was a bad experience and others must have had the same and stopped going. We will never go back even though we have been loyal customers for years. I urge others not to go here and somewhere else where the staff cares. We went over to Seasons 52 and had an amazing lunch there. read more

I'll start by saying that every table was dirty...at 6:00pm on a Sunday. And, it went downhill from thence forward. We finally settled on taking the least dirty table, which I wiped down. Wait staff was nice. We ordered a Stromboli and an Italian sub. 10min, my Stromboli was delivered. My waiter (finally) asked if I had silverware, to which I replied that I needed some. As I sat with my untouched Stromboli, 8 more minutes later, the waitress came around and asked what else we were awaiting. I said, my sons sub...which still hadn't been delivered. About 10min later, the waitress finally delivered my sons sub. They kindly offered a free dessert, but my son is allergic to milk & 100% of their desserts contain milk product. Food tasted fine. Portions were adequate, but heavy bread to meat ratio on the Italian sub. Stromboli wasn't too heavily breaded. read more

So I just went in to this location 10 min ago. I had a starbucks coffee in my hand and saw a sign saying seat yourself. I sat at a nice booth and saw they had server on duty. I looked at the menu and and finished and put the menu down. The server continued to serve the rest of the guest so figured she was just finishing up. At the last time a couple came in and sat at the booth behind me. The server then passed over me and proceeded to take their order. I looked at her and said. I was sitting here before them and was wanting to order. She looked at me and said I thought you were here for pick up, "even though no one in the restaraunt including her asked". Then she proceeded to tell me that I had an outside beverage and that I either had to finish it or get my pizza to go. I at the time wanted coffee and as I looked around there was no coffee maker in their establishment to be found. So I went to the register and told the gentleman behind the counter all I wanted was a couple slices but I will be going elsewhere. I went to another restaraunt on walking distance and got a salade instead and asked if they had a problem with me having a beverage from somewhere else and they politely said no. When I walked into Anthony's, no one let me know that wasnt allowed and instead just ignored me. Not a great way to keep customers! read more

Pretty bad is all I can say, service was horrible with an attitude. The waitress was too busy talking and talking to the table behind us about everything but food. We ordered Eggplant parmesan with comes with a side of pasta salad and bread. I asked for spaghetti with oil and garlic, she looked at me like she never heard of such a thing and walked away. When the salad came out I asked her if we get bread and she said no not with salads!! I looked at her and said we ordered eggplant Parmesan.....I should've known we should've left at that point. The dinner comes out with cold bread. The eggplant was average, the salad dressing bland. My son ordered a cannoli....also very disappointing because it was covered in Hersheys syrup and chocolate chips. When we got the check I noticed that there was a dollar amount on there for open order. They had charged me a dollar to have my pasta with oil and garlic!!! read more

I enjoyed every bite of my salad and lasagna. The antipasto salad was large enough to have been my meal. I will come here when I want home made lasagna instead of making it myself. The meal on the whole was fresh and far superior than a chain restaurant that I hope to never go back to after finding this gem right by Pier One. They have Stella on draft too. I've been ordering takeout from Anthony's (by Jason's Deli and WholeFoods) since just before the COVID pandemic. Haven't been disappointed in anything and I love that they use FRESH ingredients: pizza is hot, garlic knots are delicious, salads are fresh. Service is fantastic as long as you are nice and not a jerk. They even accommodated a dairy allergy for our last order (pizza dough and garlic knots are dairy free and vegan). Here's a bit of advice to the negative reviewers: 1. Anthony's doesn't deliver and they make that very clear. If you order from a third party delivery service (like Grub Hub) and you have issues with your order, contact the delivery service you entrusted to pick up your order. If they deliver you the wrong items ask why they didn't check your order before leaving Anthony's. 2. If you order your food "To Go", that means you leave the restaurant and eat your food at another location. The tables are for table service customers who are going to tip the staff for service which includes cleaning up the table after they leave. The place isn't McDonald's so take your "To Go" order to go. read more

Stopped by Anthony's needing to feed our hockey team and their families. These guys made 8 pizzas for us in under 20 minutes, were super friendly and helpful, and man was it good!!! What a find! Traveling on business, and a recovering New Yorker. Comfortable, friendly place with all the delights you'd expect from a pizza/ Italian place and all delicious. 4 things majorly wrong here. 1st, my order was incorrect TWICE. I ordered a meat Stromboli and the first item delivered to me was a Stromboli with mushrooms and peppers in it.. I sent it back to get what I ordered. They then brought me a meat calzone. I had been waiting way to long so I just ate it. 2nd, only ONE waitress in the entire restaurant on a Friday.. at lunch... (poor girl). She was running between tables trying to just keep up. 3rd, the guy behind the counter was YELLING at the waitress during our entire lunch. I almost said something to him, but he was 3x my size. He was complaining about customers stealing his pins, and his stapler being moved. Not to mention yelling at her for delivering the food incorrectly. 4th charging us for food WE DIDN'T ORDER. They charged us for the food that was delivered to the table.. so I ended up paying 4$ more because I ate what was delivered to me.. and their was no apology or discount offered for them messing up. The garlic knots are good tho. If eat here I'd advise just picking it up and leaving. (And making sure you have the correct order) read more

(With a dreadful attitude). I told her I wanted a large pizza and she asked me if I wanted a 14" or a 16".. I responded with I'm not sure.. whichever the large size is... I've never been asked that before. The pizza is alright, which is why I'm giving two stars, even though last TWO times I called they got my pizza WRONG... Wow finally Altamonte Springs gets a great New York style pizza restaurant. I have had pizza many times at their Casselberry location and this is the same great quality. We had the Grandma pizza that was just delicious, and the Neapolitan pizza was great. I highly recommend the grandma pizza if you like a thinner crust Sicilian type pizza. The toppings are of the highest quality, fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella,basil,delicious sauce. The Neapolitan was just like a slice of N.Y.pizza from one of the best pizza parlors in N.Y. Again top notch ingredients the best cheese and sauce you will find anywhere in central Fl. We also had a side salad that tasted like the veggies had just been picked from the garden. The creamy Italian dressing is my favorite. The portions for the pizza and salad are the most generous. The decor is all new, nothing fancy but really nice furnishings and atmosphere for a pizza place. read more
