Ordered take out so I can't speak for the vibe. This is a proper New York-style slice. The crust had that classic foldable texture and just the right chew. Everyone in our group loved the cheese pizza, the pepperoni was also delicious, but the veggie slice ended up being my personal favorite. I'm got the Eggplant Parm dinner. the eggplant was not drained after heating leaving the eggplant, pasta and sauce swimming in hot oil. the sauce lacked flavor but that could have been from the oil. it came with garlic knots which were ok but the butter on them was not fully melted. read more

Yes Please! You can't help but smile when you pull up to this place because you know you're going to get the best pizza or the best calzone you've ever had. After we had our uneventful sushi we came over here to grab a calzone and we were not disappointed. Just look at this thing! It's massive. We shared it and even had enough to take home for a snack for the next day. We also had a antipasto salad That was delicious. Everything was served fresh and hot. Our server was spot on always checking in on us and getting whatever we needed. There is not much seating here so you will either have to wait or give them your name and they will call you when a table is ready. I think this is a very busy side of town. Nancy and I stopped by Tomasino's on our recent date night in the Winter Springs area. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Thursday evening and this place was jamming with a 25-30-minute wait (actually not a bad wait for a full restaurant). We decided to go across the street to Hokkaido Sushi and get a small meal then return later once the wait died down; we returned an hour later and were greeted/seated promptly. Our server, Gabby, took great care of us, brought our drinks out quickly along with an ice cold Peroni draft ($4.99). We ordered the Greek House Salad ($10.99) and the Butcher Calzone ($12.99) with extra sauce ($0.69) to share. Our salad was ready in less than 10-minutes and the Calzone took about 25 minutes, sweet! The salad was filled with fresh ingredients and included salami, ham, feta cheese, kalamata olives, diced cucumbers & green peppers, and pepperoncini. Gabby brought out extra dressing at no charge. The dressing was a balsamic vinaigrette and was quite tasty. The Calzone was huge, basically a 12"-14" Butcher Pie folded over and baked, awesome! There was no way we could finish all of this food between us, but it was a lot of fun finally trying a Tomasino's Calzone for the first time. This is my first time visiting the Winter Springs Tomasino's location. I have to say this store seems smaller than the Lake Mary one. Also, this one seems to have a lot more employees. I counted 9 people working when we arrived. The one in Lake Mary might be lucky if they have 4; Kudos to Nick and his team at the Lake Mary location for always busting his butt and providing exceptional service. Tomasino's makes an awesome pizza, the Ricotta Be Kitting Me, the VIP, the Butcher's Pie are my favorites. My lunchtime favorites include the two slice & drink combo ($10), the Bossman's Meatball Sliders ($10), the Tomasino's Spinach salad ($13), and the Italian Combo sub ($11). Tomasino's has absolutely delicious, delectable, mouthwatering food; however, they have a number of problems. My husband and I have been ordering food from here on and off for many years. We have had a problem with the delivery drivers not getting their tips, and I would have to drive to this Winter Springs location with cash to make sure that our drivers got their tip! What in the world is up with this?! This has happened more than once. Today is Sunday, March 9th, 2025, and I placed an order online for food for my husband and myself. Online it stated would be an hour for our food to arrive. 75 minutes later, I called to find out when our food would be arriving, only to be told that they have no order under my phone number!! WHAT?? I'm sorry, but I'm done with this pizza place. There is much more to be told about this evenings experience that has been a fiasco, but I'll just let it be. Oh, one more important bit of information. After speaking to two different assistant managers, and telling them about the hassle I've had to endure, they had the audacity to call me back and ask if I still wanted to place my order...seriously?! read more

I first visited about a year ago and enjoyed one of their lunch specials, which was excellent. This time, we decided to opt for a takeout order. Although I initially planned to order online, I noticed a $0.99 service charge. While it wasn't a huge amount, I opted to place the order over the phone. Our food was ready for pickup in just 25 minutes. We went with a 14-inch The Butcher's Pizza and the Bossman's meatball sliders. The Butcher's Pizza was packed with pepperoni, sausage, sliced meatball, bacon, and ham. We're big fans of meat pizzas, and this one had the most meat of any we've had! The Bossman's meatball sliders were tasty too, consisting of three garlic knots filled with meatballs, marinara sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. However, we felt they could have used a bit more garlic butter on top as it didn't have much garlic flavor. From my previous visit, I recall the dining area being quite small with limited tables. On that occasion, I didn't have trouble finding a seat, and the service was both quick and efficient. Overall, I think Tomasino's is great but it's not out of this world. read more

The food was AMAZING, the calzones are HUGE, the salad was AMAZING, and the knots.. omg. The staff is wonderful, they are attentive and nice. Our server, Dona, and the other lovely ladies made this dinner a 10/10 experience. Even the cooks are great, always smiling and taking pride in their food. I was pleasantly surprised by this hole in the wall. We ordered To-Go. Saw there was a vegan option and had to try! They said 30min and it took 40, not a big deal especially for a Saturday evening. There was a consistent flow of customers coming in to pick up so this must be a local favorite. Our pizza had vegan cheese (tasted like Follow Your Heart). We normally do no cheese to save on calories, but we're curious about their vegan. I appreciated the amount of cheese that was put on. Some pizza places will overload the vegan cheese, but not here! They have all sorts of dietary pizzas! GF, vegan, vegetarian, keto, and "normal" people too! The GF pizza crust is ok. It could be a littlecrisper, but overall no combines. The only toppings you can't have are the ones with breading (eggplant and chicken), and meatballs.wverything else is good to go! Wings are not breaded, but they share a fryer with mozzarella sticks. So, not bad if just intolerant like me, not so good if celiac due to cross contamination. Great food, awesome staff! Our absolute favorite pizza place. We've been coming here since before they were Tomasinos. The food is amazing and the staff is even better. Kayla was our waitress tonight (and many other Friday nights) and she is just perfect. Warm and welcoming, they were crazy busy (Friday night) and our family was seated within 10 minutes and eating within 25. Everything was delicious, pizza, chicken parmigian, and a Stromboli. I liked the flavor of their pizza (tried pepperoni and cheese) a lot but amount of cheese on the pies are just too much for me. It ends up being a bit too oily and soggy for my taste. I wouldn't mind giving it another shot and maybe request for less cheese. read more

I recently moved to Winter Springs from Lake Mary and would frequent that location a lot. Probably too much and I was excited to see there was one right down the street from my new house. The location is a little smaller than Lake Mary, but they still deliver the same quality food. I also prefer the service better at the Lake Mary location. Not that they aren't friendly here, but Lake Mary really made us feel like family. We've ordered delivery from this location which is always quoted an hour, but it's noted it may be busier on peak nights. Even on the weekend we always get our pizza within the hour. The calzones here are amazing, just want to mention that off the bat. The pizza is very good but inconsistent. Many times, you will get a perfectly cooked, evenly sauced pie. Sometimes, you'll get underdone dough with excessive sauce and it's disappointing. The desserts are amazing, HOWEVER, the portions are bananas for the price. Went in and bought some pepperoni slices off of their slice special. Pretty legit and I got it with a Pepsi. I forgot to take a pic because I ate it so fast had to mangia. I didn't notice until after but the cheese shakers are rusty and dusty. I am a cheese dumper so I saw the cap was looking all messed up. The nice taste in my mouth dissipated after I stopped in the men's room and the toilet needed work. The flush button is clearly old and boss needs to tighten the chain and probably get a new flapper. Some wise guy didn't have the patience to hold down the button for a 10 second flush and I bet it happens every day. It was hot and I was sweating because I don't think the AC reached the restroom. It didn't matter because the front door has a half inch gap all the way down! I was ready to get to Home Depot after seeing all these easy fixes a handyman could do. Gosh, I hate giving such a great little place a low review. Let me start off by saying the staff is great. On a busy Friday night, all of the workers were still in high spirits, joking around with customers and trying their best to meet all the orders and still attend to those of us eating in the small restaurante. HUGE shoutout to our server who was great and fun and patient and attentive even with two kiddos under two. The pizza was... good. It was a little soggy on the bottom but at least the dough was edible and not burnt like most other pizza joints. The garlic knots were good, but.... Too cheesy (I know right???). The meatballs were also, just good. If you're lucky, like us, one of their regulars that picks up a pizza every Friday night also picked up our tab and surprised us! read more

Tomasino's has a few strikes in my book: terrible parking, teeny shop and long waits. Kinda pricy. But do they have the most important plus and maybe the only one that matters, TOP NOTCH PIZZA? Yes, yes they do. We got a vegan cheese and pepperoni/sausage pizza. The sausage was piled on. Always a plus. Our extra cheese pepperoni 18 inch had more cheese than you can shake a stick at.
