Will NEVER order from this location again. I had a late workday so decided to order dinner. Placed a SIMPLE delivery order around 5:20pm ET. At 6:18pm I called to inquire where my food was - it had been almost an hour and the restaurant is less than 2 miles from my house. Stacy answered the phone and told me that they only had 2 drivers but my order was heading my way. At 6:50pm I called back because my food still hadn't arrived and I was told (again by Stacy) that because it was raining hard and they didn't want the bag to get wet that the driver was "just leaving". WHAT?!?! Yes, it had rained - hard - for about 10/15mins TOPS. Last I checked, cars still drive in the rain. You run a business that offers delivery. I would have fully understood the delay and being short staffed if my food had actually gone out the door the first time I called. I called back a third time 20 mins later. Once again, Stacy answered and used the rain as the excuse even though the rain had ended an hour before. The food finally arrived 2 hours after I placed the order. Unfortunately, I pre-paid when I placed the order to include a tip for the driver. I was never offered a refund or a discount. Here's the thing - just be honest. The food isn't cheap and it took so long to arrive that I ended up sticking it in the fridge. I didn't intend on paying that much money to have "leftovers". Lesson learned. I would NOT recommend. Ordered delivery to the KOA campground. The driver called when he was on his way and again when he arrived at the office. Food was on time. Everything was good. Ordered the large calzone, my husband couldn't finish it. I had the meatball sub. It was also large, I ate half and brought the rest home. read more

After entering my address for delivery their website said I'm within their delivery area, so I paid & proceeded w/ the order only to get a call from some crazy woman telling me my order would have to be picked up almost 2 mikes away by the Community Center on Mission Rd. I drive down there & no one is there. I call the store & they tell me I'm going to have to wait - the driver is almost there. I ask to speak to the Manager on duty & Keenan (sp?) gets on the phone & ho hums around about the website is a "new system" - DON'T order online for delivery from Anthony's & DON'T pay their ridiculous delivery fees because they don't bring it to your house!!! read more

Anthony's Pizza is my go-to pizza place. The pizza is consistently delicious, with a crust that's well-cooked, flavorful, and never soggy, which is surprisingly hard to find. Every order I've had has been solid and dependable, and that consistency is why I keep coming back. The service is also really good. The staff is friendly, helpful, and makes you feel welcome every time. I'd honestly give them 5 stars, but I haven't found a truly "perfect" pizza spot between Fair Oaks and here that's also reasonably priced. Order pizza on my 59th birthday and they never delivered it to me. Would not refund my money when i called. The person who answered the phone insisted they left it on my porch. Asked to speak to manager who would not refund my money. Have had their pizza delivered before and really liked it. Really did not receive a pizza - Will not order from them again. Update to this issue - turns out they delivered it to my neighbors house who was not home. Two hours later the neighbor brought the pizza over. Called Anthony's to let them know. My issue was that when i did not have a pizza in hand, they would not refund my money - almost acting like I was not being truthful. I spoke to the young lady who answers the phone who was rude to me -the manager who was not necessarily rude but refused to refund me for a pizza I did not have. Truthfully if they would have refunded me, and the neighbor brought it over 2 hours later, I would have called and asked them to recharge me. Anthony's is our go-to pizza place in Charles Town. We typically order an excessive amount of pizza delivery and have never been disappointed. Our household favorites are the meat lovers (very meaty, indeed!), supreme, and the pizza special. While the quality is a little hit-or-miss, they always serve up a good pie. Sometimes you just hit the jackpot with a particularly delicious one. As for service, the phone calls are usually brief and quick with few niceties. I have no problem with that. They always give a pretty accurate wait-time and even call when they're close (we live pretty far away). As far as local pizzerias go, this one is a good one. read more

While I'm in WV I have limited choices for food that I actually use as a go-to, and while the pizza here is adequate my order was slightly wrong and the sauce on my baked ziti was shockingly sweet. I could only get through a few bites at a time. However it was a huge, nice portion and the cheese fries were also very good. I have never set foot into Anthony's pizza, but that doesn't mean i'm not a huge fan. Me and my family are in love with their food. I, personally, am a massive fan of their cheesesteak subs. I order here frequently, and every single time the food has been absolutely delicious. Every delivery driver who's dropped off my food has also been kind and courteous. The wait time for delivery is usually around an hour, which is a little long, but the wait is worth it. Thank you Anthony's for continuing to provide great service and even better food! read more

Generally, I will call in a pick-up order about once a month. It's almost always the same thing (4 sub combos or 3 combos and pasta). Never has an order cost over $30. Tonight, I called in 3 sub combos, another sub and a med pizza (3 toppings). The total given was $49.89, excluding tax. Knowing sub combos are under $7/ea and individual subs are obviously less than that, the med pizza would have had to be $26. Further, I asked the employee speaking to me to itemize my order (price per item). My request was met with an instant attitude and she rattled everything off so quickly, I didn't hear half of it. Since my husband had already left our home to pick the order up, I had to call and inform him of the total. He immediately told me to cancel the order and said, either that employee made a mistake or Anthony's had raised their prices drastically within the last month. When I called back to cancel the order, the same employee gave me the same attitude and hung up on me. In all honesty, Anthony's food is not good enough to sustain their horrible customer service and rising prices. I will definitely be taking my family's business elsewhere from now on. read more

The lady on the phone rushed me through my order and didn't listen to my specific instructions. We have been ordering from here for years but never again.
