My wife and I enjoyed a happy hour menu, expediant service, a great ambiance, and views of the waterway.

Love to come here every week or so. Restaurant is amazing, although my friends and I usually go to the lounge. Happy Hour in the lounge is particularly awesome. Great prices on smoky, flavorful wood-fired pizzas, blue cheese/hearts of romaine salads, great beers and more. Today I tried and LOVED the Rotisserie Chicken Club with Thick, grilled artisan bread, pancetta, roasted red pepper and aioli and fries- AMAZING!!! Nice location and a fun, comfortable atmosphere with a fireplace going and/or a nice outside seating area. Always friendly service from the staff and the manager Becky is always coming around to make sure everything is top notch. One of my favorite go-to restaurants anytime. read more

Ok atmosphere. Food is pretty good, not excellent. We had the early dinner 4 course meal- flank steak with bruchetta, and the BBQ garlic shrimp with the shrimp cocktail. The appetizers were good, the salads were very disappointing, the main courses were ok. The desserts were great. The service sucked. If I want a place with great happy-hour food prices and a true-Italian-style pizza, you cant beat this. $6 for the pizza, drinks good. In the middle of the winter or in the middle of summer outside, it is a nice place to enjoy happy-hour. For night-full menu, that is the only minus. Oh yeah, they removed Oyster-Shooters from their menu a couple years ago....bad move, but the pizza still rivals some of best in experience in Italy for authenticity. read more

I have a boat in the marina just outside of Anthony's so I have come here quite a few times for happy hours and drinks. The staff is friendly, be prepared to wait a bit though. The happy hour menu is very limited compared to neighbors (Lombardi's and Scuttlebutt) but I must admit the food and drinks are great. They shuffle what beers they have on tap frequently so you can switch it up! It's a bit pricy but it is a fancier restaurant/atmosphere. Last Saturday around happy hour it was pretty busy and the staff was a little lost at times - messing up our bill by adding 3 items we didn't order, but we did get it fixed finally. read more

Went on a Saturday evening and the place was half empty - that should have been a clue. Got a table quickly, water, menus and then the waiter showed up to take the order. Then and only then did he tell us the grill was out of order and all we could get was soups, salads and pasta. Exactly what we did not want. There were no signs on the door, nothing said by the greeter, no warning when we were handed the menus. They hoped that we we too hungry or would be too embarrassed to leave. We got up and left. One of our cod dinners was undercooked and we waited a long time for it to come back from the kitchen. The clam dish I had was excellent. After ordering drinks, we often had to wait quite a while, and our water glasses were empty before they were refilled. Our plates were not taken from the table in a timely manner. Nice deck and view. Dissapointing to have to eat my appetizers off a friend's plate as the waiter never brought me one, plus I had to ask for a napkin and utensils to eat my dinner. Expected more from this restaurant. This was not a busy night. The waiter was friendly, but didn't seem to want to touch a dirty plate or glass. read more

In town because my sister is in ICU at Providence Regional Medical Center. After a couple very stressful days, I thought I'd treat myself to a nice meal. Ordered the prime rib, but the cut of meat was terrible. Very gristle-y. Told the waitress, she offered to get me another dinner, but I'd filled up with the veggies & bread. Offered dessert & coffee, I had the excellent Huckleberry Slump and a great cup of decaf. Imagine my surprise when I got my bill and it was for the cup of decaf. Thank you, Sarah. The 2 times I've visited Anthony's Woodfire were great. The food was wonderful. I had the fish and chips the first visit and if I remember right I had their spicy macaroni and cheese the second visit. Their seasonal fruit dishes are always great. I had a berry Buckle (I think thats what it was called) for dessert on one visit. The cesar salad I had was great. It was great for a medium sized group of people. read more

I had Dinner here tonight with friends who have gotten together quarterly here for the past several years. I've never thought the food was the greatest, but tonight it was absolutely far below what I would've expected from any Anthonys. I ordered the barbecue garlic shrimp which was described as New Orleans style. They were served with cubed, somewhat mushy, dry potatoes. I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be almost mashed, smashed, or similar to home fries. The six shrimp were overcooked and had absolutely no flavor - no garlic, no salt, no pepper, no butter and definitely not New Orleans style. My family is from New Orleans and the shrimp didn't resemble anything I'd eaten before. The potatoes were also dry and bland - no seasonings or spices either. The sautéed vegetables were OK. The best part about the meal was the company And my glass of chardonnay. A friend had the fish and chips and said they were not the same as they typically were, and were bland and had no flavor. At least the plating of the fish and chips was nice. The shrimp were buried under the mushy potatoes and did not look appetizing upon arrival. Either the chef was untrained or the kitchen was not well stocked with spices. I hope this was just a REALLY OFF night. At $23 for my meal, thinking I'll suggest another meeting place for our group of six. read more

Stopped in for lunch, they were not busy but the service was pretty slow & bad, asked for a Hard Cider from the bar and was brought Martinelli's sparkling cider, then it took along time for the waitress to bring me something else. I had the corn & crab chowder & cesar salad which was very good, my husband had the pizza which I thought was barely average, not very crispy and mushy in the middle. Just had dinner there a few nights ago. I ordered off the appetizer menu as I had heard their crab chowder was good. It was delicious! Then I had a salad wedge, it was super tiny, but then again, it was not a main course item. It was good. My hubby had an entree salad, the Chop salad, and that was tasty, but the chicken was really really dry. Service was excellent, lighting tolerable. What happened to the wonderful rotisserie chicken? The place still has wonderful service, drinks, and service. Went for hh the menu for hh was a good selection. Ordered a hamburger to share. We were not asked how we liked it cooked. It arrived in a nice presentation but was very burnt and could see the bits from the dirty grill on the patty. I dined here for dinner with my boss while we were in town for business. We tried to eat at Anthony's Homeport but it was busy (with a 45 minute wait - probably I see why it has 4.5 stars and this place has two). The food was mediocre at best. My seafood on the Seafood Penne was all overcooked and the basil cream sauce lacked enthusiasm. I wouldn't recommend this place and I won't be back. read more

We received a gift certificate for this restaurant in apologies for the last visit, which was very thoughtful and a great gesture. Unfortunately, we had an even worse experience. We came on a Saturday, food was delicious, but service was extremely slow! We had the same waiter we had last time, he wasn't as prompt as he had been before, it may be because it was a busy day. There was a beautiful sunset and scenery though, which made the evening a little better. read more

I have been to this place a few times and see plenty of folks in here. My main issue is ALWAYS attention to detail when I place a order and prompt service. This place has had many issues with just that. My wife and I went into this place on 12/30 around 3pm, it was not that busy and we were seated right away. It must have taken 10 minutes for the server to arrive and during the wait we made our choices. As the server/bartender arrived she took our order, we ordered 2 beverages and food, the server asked me if I wanted a part of my choice 1st I said yes. we waited another 10 mins or so and then my soup arrived and we were sitting there waiting for our drinks... Then our main course arrived and I mentioned to the server we were still waiting for our drinks.. The drinks finally showed and the server spilled part of mine on the table. The meal was ok as it should be and the service was absolutely terrible. I have never had bad service next door at Anthonys or Lombardys, so all that to say dont waste your time at the woodfire. read more

10/10 worst restaurant I've been to! The prices are outrageous, you see them and expect some extravagant food. My sister orders a salad, THE SALAD IS LITERALLY 3 pieces of lettuce, that she had to cut herself! My significant other ordered the mac n cheese with rotisserie chicken, well that's cool if the chicken is fish, She can't eat fish. And to top this shit off, my nephews pizza was heated up garbage wth 4 pieces of craft cheese partly melted.... I would rate this place 0 stars but you need to give it one to make a review. On a visit to Everett being at the harbor we went to Anthonys for lunch and it was excellent. 5 of us had 5 different items and each was delicious. Love the cheese and garlic appetizer (cheese lover here). The crab shrimp and artichoke toast was so yummy. The Penne Chicken was was splendid and the salmon cakes were a favorite too. Fish and chips were tasty too. the service at lunchtime was excellent and cups were filled right away, the peach lemonade was refreshing. Had the burnt creame, peach cobbler and mini sundaes for the kids. Maybe a bit pricy but it was GOOD so didn't mind. All and all a delicious meal. read more

Ok you can't beat this place on a a nice sunny day sitting on the deck. All things may be forgiven whilst gazing on the harbor sailboats. However, when sitting inside is required the shortcomings begin to become apparent. Lack of prompt service, organized waitstaff and their knowledge of what is available and what is not, uninteresting appetizers, e.g., focaccia bread was bland and the oil And vinegar was just... Oil and vinegar. No garlic, basil, or even a flavored oil to perk it up. there wasn't anything that would make it surpass the focaccia at QFC, which is awesome by the way. Sad little "sausage" pizza with two slices of mushroom and three or four strips of red pepper. And wine glasses that are hardly worth the pour of a good red wine. Come on Anthony's. you've been around long enough to be the best. So be it. read more

Our service was good. Very attentive and the place was clean. I ordered the waygu beef burger with fries and for $10 it was a good burger. Wish there were more fries though. It was an overall good experience as the view is wonderful and it creates an atmosphere that is very much at ease. I would have gave this more stars but the portion size was just a little smaller than what I would want when eating out. read more

What is going on with the Woodfire? In the past it has been a great place to meet friends, good food and great prices. Well lately the service has been horrible. I saw the busser wipe a table, the floor and then a table again with the same cloth. Tonight two groups of people at the patio tables that were just occupied by previous diners waited for over 15 minutes with dirty dishes in front of them to even be greeted. Neither the server or busser acknowledged they had new diners. We were totally ignored. Then when we asked to talk to the manager and told her what had happened and also state that the service had been sub par the last few times we had been there. Her answer was "and why do you keep coming back?" Wow! Is this how management is trained? I will not be going back and I would suggest you not bother either. read more

Soooo..yeah. I'm down with place. I've only been here for the happy hour. I was told its 3p until close!! Hellll yes baby!! They have a great happy hour menu with huge $5 burgers and pizza and good drink specials. Great outside seating and water views too. The only thing that could improve a bit is the service. Its gets hella busy so it always feels like it takes a while to have a server get to you. Otherwise, bang for the buck is OK. I like being able to pick the hour of day I want my happy hour so that's why I dig this place. Worth a visit. read more

Skip this place. The pizzas we ordered both had soot from the oven on the bottom so much so that it felt gravely on your teeth when chewing. Talk about unappetizing. The service was really slow considering there were 2 other people in the entire area we were in. My sons Mac and cheese was even bland... I mean Kraft is better than what was served. Food was only okay, the service was only okay. We went for happy hour and the prices were fine. However, it took 10-15 minutes just to place a drink order and another 15 minutes to order food. I ordered the Basil Chicken Penne and I was waiting on it for it for at least 30 minutes which seemed excessive. They like to go heavy on the sauce/dressing and beware: the Caesar salad comes with bacon bits which was an unexpected and unpleasant twist. Our server was nice but it felt like the bar area was definitely not a priority for the restaurant overall. Tables were left dirty and the floor was really sticky (something I've noticed on earlier visits as well). Bottom line is, it's definitely not great but North Everett doesn't have much else to offer so you're kind of stuck with it. At least the beer selection is alright! read more

I am so disappointed. I never write negative reviews because I know how they can affect a business, but I need for Woodfire Grill to be aware. My husband called to made reservations for Saturday night for my birthday. He was told there was an 8pm available for a party of 5. He was fine with that as our kids had to drive about an hour to meet us there. We arrived at about 7:45 and were told it was Homecoming but our table would be ready soon. We were fine with that. We stepped into the bar to get a drink. The bartender was unfriendly and put out. No smile sharing there. I thought, oh she's had a rough night. Poor thing. Probably busy. (However, after a moments thought, Homecoming kids can't drink, so that didn't really make sense). We were called to our table shortly which was great! Our waitress greeted us and got a couple of refills on beers. When she returned, my husband ordered 3 appetizers to share. They came in a timely manner and were good. At about 8:45, the waitress comes up to me at the table, (my husband was in the restroom), she was snotty, rubbed her hands together, and said something like, "Are you guys wanting to order anything else from the kitchen because we close in 15 minutes." Mind you the restauraunt made our reservations for 8pm, we didn't choose that time. (Online hours state 10pm). I was in shock. I said, "What? You close in 15 minutes?" She said, "Yes, we have an event tomorrow that we need to prepare for so we are closing at 9 instead of 10 tonight." AND YOU'RE TELLING ME AT 8:45!?!? Wouldn't that have been good information when my husband was told the only reservation was for 8pm? We hurriedly made decisions on what to eat, and were served dinner. The food was fine. The service was unacceptable. While chewing, our check was delivered to the table, the waitress says to my husband: "ALL I NEED IS YOUR SIGNATURE AND WE'LL BE GOOD TO GO!" Are you kidding me!!?? No dessert was offered.......again this is a birthday........... I said aloud, "does anyone want dessert?" Our waitress ignored me. I truly was appalled. We were basically rushed out of the restaurant. My husband is much kinder than I am when it comes to things like this. He should not have tipped our waitress 20%, but of course he added that to the bill. Woodfire, I am shocked. How dare you treat paying customers like this. read more

We went for the early bird special and weren't really impressed. The waiter even advised me against the order I was placing (admitting it wasn't good and he receives many complaints). Taking his advice, I changed my order. It was decent. My wife's food was very bland. At several points our beverages ran dry. Usually I would think a place as Anthony's would be on top of these kinds of things. I saw another review advise one to save their money and go to Scuttlebut for Fish & Chips--I must agree.
