Guatemalan breakfast with a side of platanos Fritos.
    Marlene A.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is very relaxed, welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you walk In using the back door you walk down a longish hallway that has beautiful paintings of Antigua. You can admire El Arco and the volcano both exceptional beauties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Right after that you walk up to the amazing pan dulce which is on point. The food from what I've tried is delicious. The platanos Fritos with black beans are absolutely yummy. The tamales taste almost exactly like homemade. For sure a must try. The only thing I would definitely skip here is the cafe ole. Gave it a second try and definitely not impressive, lacks coffee taste. The coffee has a very watered down taste. Service is good. Your order is taken at counter. You're given a number and a while later your food is brought to you. They have water cups available across from cashier as a self serve option.

My all time favorite place for delicious coffees!! Such cute vibes and set up! My favorite is the caramel vanilla latte!

Loved this restaurant! I am always looking for good chilaquiles and these did not disappoint! I got the chilaquiles con carne and chose chicken as my protein. The chicken was amazing I loved that it was crunchy. The plate came with a side of rice and black beans which made it even better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was amazing and there was plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking wasn't hard as there was plenty of street parking. I highly recommend this spot for a taste of authentic Latin food.

The food was spot on! You definitely get to experience authentic Latino breakfast that is not Americanized. The plates come with a choice of tortillas or bread. Depending on the plate, the safe choice would be to select bread. You have to get in line to order your food. From there they give you a number to place on your seating table. It does get busy later in the day so I suggest getting there early to secure a table that would accommodate your party.

Decided to look on Yelp for a good breakfast spot and came across Antigua bread. My wife and I decided to give it a try -- she's a pretty picky eater, but even she loved it (which says a lot!). The food was fantastic, and the horchata coffee was absolutely delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere really gives you that warm, authentic Mexican restaurant vibe -- cozy, colorful, and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff was super friendly, the place was spotless, and the prices were very fair.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot!

The person who made my burrito found it acceptable to give me a ripped tortilla. Is it too much work to make a new one? They raised the price of the burrito $1 since least November. I can go on but I'll stop there.

Me and my wife have gone to this place ever since we started dating. But I decided to come in sadly at the last minute and I usually order the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, it's my all-time favorite. But today was definitely unique, I'm not mad, I'm not furious, but it definitely made me raise one eyebrow lol as soon as I was eating it, I saw something strange inside, it was a small piece of cardboard that was brown, honestly, I thought it was a piece of mushroom hahaha but it wasn't., Maybe next time they can just start being a little bit more aware if there's any cardboard boxes nearby when they're making the food, if a child was to have illness, they would've had a really serious issue since it could become a choking hazard. I'm still gonna continue to go to this place, but this was interesting.

Small local place that offers Guatemalan delights. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer pastries, coffee, breakfast, lunch, and burgers. Once you place your order you get a number. Once your food is ready the staff will bring your food right over. Antigua Breakfast- 10/10 Traditional breakfast and a large portion. You can choose between a side of tortilla or pan Frances. Ultimate Antigua Breakfast- 9/10 Steak was tender but a bit on the salty side. The grilled onions were a nice touch. Comes with a side of tortilla or pan Frances. Mayan Burger- 8/10 Great size and came with fries. Burger and signature sauce had a sweet taste. Vanilla Latte- 7/10 They use coffee beans from Antigua Guatemala. The coffee taste is light in flavor. I would recommend getting an extra shot as this was missing that coffee flavor.

Meter/ low cost parking in lot and street. Public bathroom. Lots of tables (including outdoors , & covered!) Professional hospitable staff. Standard coffee prices. They served so much dairy free milk for my coffee I took it home w/me ;) Lots of food options. Will definitely return & recommend !

The service was great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food wasn't my favorite the place was nice and had parking but the food lack a lot of flavor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've always wanted to try this place but it was not up to my standard. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was good, the music was just a little loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Mochi Twist ($5)-- Nice and dense mochi texture? I guess it's hard to describe but it's not hollow and airy like a typical donut. There's some chew to it. And it's not too sweet! Blueberry Roti ($4)-- Flaky crumble on top and blueberry jam?? YES YESSSS. I liked this so much I'd definitely go back for it. Blueberry jam is so underrated and it's rare to find it in a pastry! Makes for a good sweet lil treat. Hot latte ($5)-- Perfect!! No complaints. Not too milky, not too light. Good ratio. I was actually kind of worried ordering a latte because not every place does it right but it's good here! Iced blueberry matcha ($6?)-- I see lots of good things about this drink on here but ooooooof... it missed the mark and by a LOOOT too. It was green sweet cereal milk. Where's the matcha? Where's the blueberry? It was so confusing because I see the green and I know I ordered matcha... but it's just sweet milk! And it's not even blueberry flavored milk. Did they forget the blueberry jam? Syrup? Whatever they use? Because it just tastes like the milk after a bowl of Frosted Flakes or something like that. Very sad, very disappointing. Ended up tossing after a couple sips. ANDDD for those matcha purists this is NOOOT the place for you! They have it pre mixed in a milk gallon. So we just saw green milk coming out of a gallon into this cup like yeppppp ok expectations immediately lowered. Anyways, hot latte is good and the 2 pastries I got were good! Steer clear of the matcha!!!

It's relatively busy but the line moved swiftly. The Larchmont store was pretty lively with the crowded and colorful wall deco! It's pretty fun to see that they came up with more seasonal items lately and most of them nailed it well when they came to cookies. Previously the lemon one and the most recent was the Raspberry Pistachio which I was impressed by as I just fancied sweet and refreshing combo of white chocolate and raspberry. The pistachio added more texture to it for sure. Same as any Levain cookies, best enjoyed warm and fresh out of oven. The Cookie Milk Latte was actually the main reason bringing me here, yet I was bit let down by it as I was expecting more malty cookie flavor in the drink. I felt it tasted not much different to regular cream top latte with some cookie crumbles in it.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off.
