Went again recently and coffee is still amazing. They did have some new menu items added that look good to check out.

Got there around 10 am on a Saturday. No crowd. Order and pick up of your orders at the same window. It wasn't difficult for us but a lil confusing if busy I guess. The coffee was great, I got the ube one which had some bits and pieces. I'll try their non-ube coffee next time. The breakfast sandwich was amazing, surprisingly! The vibes are nice and parking lot is huge. Staff were also super nice and they keep the area clean and neat (except the side of their building ramp I expected for them to have the bread and jam but sold out I guess. Given that this is sort of a filipino cafe, I'd think they would have more filipino items like pandesal (which is basically just bread) or a different protein of their breakfast sandwich.

Obet & Del's has come to Highland Park! Their Hollywood location is known for their tasty drinks & eats with some Filipino vibes and I'm happy to report their new location delivers on all the same principals. Huge parking lot that they share with a grocery store so finding parking spots isn't a problem here. A huge plus in LA, as we all know, is not having to worry about parking. It's a cute little shop, that consistently has a line, with friendly faces greeting you and assisting with the order taking. They have a few tables if you want to dine there but most people grab & go from this outdoors-only shop. I ordered their signature Filipino Iced Coffee which has their house espresso, just a dash of ube, oatmilk and oat-condensed milk which made for a nice lighter flavored drink. My friend got the 3 in 1 Latte - another signature drink - that I, of course, tried and loved. This one had double espresso, almond milk, oat milk and oat condensed milk. Both drinks were on the lighter side so don't go expecting a sugar explosion. Their eats were just superb! The breakfast sando ($13) comes with pork sausage and a very cool egg patty on an english muffin as the standard version. However you must add the strawberry jam or the garlic aioli for ultimate experience pleasure...and the cheese if you're really going all out. Loved this morning treat! Then the baked goods! Oh my goodness, if you don't get some pastries, you're doing Obet & Del's incorrectly. The chocolate chip cookie was FIRE. The miso sesame cookie was FIRE. The bread & jam was FIRE. I can only imagine the other baked goods are also excellent. Overall, just loved Obet & Del's Coffee's new Highland Park/Mount Washington location! I will absolutely be coming back!

Obet & Del's was founded by a husband & wife team in 2020 with a mission to create a space where coffee lovers can unite and form a sense of community. This is mainly accomplished at their café in Thai Town. The HLP location is for grab-n-go. I stopped here early on a Sunday morning to get some fuel for my busy day. I needed to buzz around like a busy bee so I decided to try one of their signature drinks. Since it was summer weather on the first day of March I ordered the Filipino Iced Coffee: Ube, espresso, & oat milk. Esther assisted me and was so sweet & friendly. The pastries looked tempting and delicious. I noticed they are baked on the premises. There is a small outdoor seating area that is shared with the taco place next door. I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty my beverage was. It was well-balanced, and the Ube added a bit of sweetness but not too much. I could taste the coffee but it wasn't overpowering or bitter. In fact, it was so good I wished I had ordered a drip as well, so I could fully enjoy the quality & richness of the roast. When I got home, I removed the ice and heated the coffee up. I enjoyed every sip while scrolling through the daily news on my laptop. I'm glad I discovered this place. *Parking in shopping center.

Great Patio Seating! Much more usable than before.

Amazing transformation of this cute little window coffee shop. Obet & Del's really made a nice communal seating area for their customers and Taco Fiesta next door. 100% of the seating is covered which is great on a hot day. The parking is super easy, it is in the same lot as Superior Grocers so there is tons of space. I just got a cortado and some giftcards and it was made expertly and quickly as well!! Wanted to try their food but had lunch plans coming up. Very friendly staff

Stopped by Obet Coffee and tried the Filipino iced coffee and the Thai Town Latte. The Thai Town Latte is tea-based and doesn't come with coffee, but you can add espresso for $2 if you want. My friend thought it was just alright, more on the mild side, and the Thai tea flavor isn't too strong. The Filipino iced coffee, on the other hand, was really good. There were little purple bits in the drink (assuming it's ube), and it blended really well with the condensed milk. Super smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. I think they have another location in Hollywood, but this one is cool. It's more of a grab-and-go spot, but there's lots of parking and shared outdoor seating with a taco spot next door. Service was good and friendly as well. Overall, a solid place for unique coffee drinks, especially if you're into ube. Would come back.

Delicious! Love the 3-in-1latte! Got it during their soft opening. Service was friendly and fast. Free parking in the shared lot. Covered seating.

We drive to their Hollywood location for their Filipino Iced Coffee & I'm so happy that they're now in HP! So close to us :) Lots of parking in a shared huge lot. Pleasant staff, cute spot & excellent customer service. They just close early :(

Came here three times now and I'm just so happy this cafe exists. Not only are all the drinks really good, they offer yummy pastries as well (some are even gf and vegan). My fave pastry so far is the ube bibinka. The matcha mochi brownie is a close second. I tried the ube latte which was surprisingly not too sweet and also not too dense! My husband liked his Thai town. The star is the matcha latte. Very yummy, very ceremonial. I tried the breakfast sandwich once with the sausage, once with double egg. I think I prefer it without the meat as the patty was a bit heavy for me but I'm in love with the pillowy soft bread. I'll def keep coming back to try more. For locals? This place is where the old kitchen mouse third outpost used to be, in the huge parking lot of superior grocers.

Fast service, phenomenal coffee and matcha, tasty pastries, etc etc. The seating area is CUTE AF! Tried their Filipino iced coffee and my friend had a regular matcha latte - actually perfect. Cornbread muffin was also perfect. And so unique??? Everything about this place makes us want to become regulars. Shoutout to Faye for taking care of us!!!

As someone who travels frequently, I will do just about anything to stop by Obet & Del's whenever I'm in SoCal. I recently visited the new location, and it is awesome. An old Yum Yum space has been transformed into a space that is vibrant and welcoming. Ordering feels nostalgic; there is a covered seating area, and if you want tacos, there is a place right next to them. Such a great location! If you have not been to their original location, you are in for a treat. Not only is the coffee and food great (Try the Filipino Iced Coffee with REAL Ube), but the owners also genuinely care about their workers, customers, and communities. With so many businesses that don't deserve support these days, I have no problem encouraging everyone to support local, legitimate businesses like Obet & Del's. Visit and visit often. You will not be disappointed!

This FIlipino & Black Owned coffee shop deserves all the hype. With its first shop located near Thai Town, this Highland Park location has the potential of being a beloved spot by those who enjoy fun takes on Asian inspo'ed flavors like Thai Iced Tea and Ube Latte. They also have some warm goods like a warm bun with honey butter that is just so decadent and hits the spot--it slaps like a "pan de sal" but with a slightly sweet-meets-salty take. They also carry their own roasted whole beans for sale. Located in the parking lot of the Superior Latino grocery, it's a humble order at the kiosk and seat yourself in the patio type vibe, but it certainly has potential as a more casual take on coffee-to-go if you're not in the mood to be immersed in the prototypical coffee shop ambiance. It's kind of like the unassuming person you run into that always makes you feel good but doesn't make you anxious. That's the type of person slash coffee shop I'd be down to hit up every now and again without pressure. That's what O&D feels like to me. :)

It definitely has lots of charm! I got the strawberry sesame latte less sweet and it was a little on the sweeter side still but I really enjoyed it. I'm also got a lemon poppy seed muffin that they get from a bakery. It was good as well. I liked the tangy lemon frosting on top. Comfortable seats and it's pretty big for a coffee shop. Walking in, I loved the aesthetic design of the open air cafe. Loved the antique vibes. There was a variety of different seating to choose from such as bar seating and cushioned couches which was nice. Going down the list of menu items I had: - Cantaloupe Milk CT with Matcha: Creamy and sweet cantaloupe flavor. Matcha was solid, but wished there was more of it. - Egg Sando: Pretty good. Lots of egg filling, but wish it was more flavorful. Bread also didn't hold the egg filling well. - Melon Soda Float: Yummy dessert. Ice wasn't necessary since there was ice cream in the cup already. I did some work from here and my experience was relatively decent. There were ample outlets and the couch seating was comfortable. The music could get a bit loud though, but I didn't mind. Only downside was the wifi wasn't great so I had to use my hotspot. This would be better as a place to socialize. Definitely a cafe worth checking out in the Chinatown area!

I stumbled across their Yelp page when I was visiting from out of town and checked the Instagram for their hours on a Saturday afternoon and was happy to see they were open! I am a sucker for pop-up coffee shop/cart concepts so I had to check it out. The pop-up is easy to find, it's outside facing into the parking lot, and they had a cute A-frame sign out by the street side. There was no line, and I ordered and sat down at one of the tables out front. The service was so warm, and I believe the shop is owned and operated by one man on his own! He was an absolute delight to meet, and he brought my matcha latte to me at the table when it was prepared. He suggested I get the cream top on it, and boy was that the perfect recommendation. I would say I'm a little bit of a matcha fiend... I think I got a matcha latte at 3 different places this day... and this one far surpassed the others. I think it was one of the best matcha lattes I have ever drank to-date. It was perfectly green, the matcha quality was phenomenal, both taste and look-wise. The texture was just right, perfectly creamy with barely any grittiness. The cream top only added to the drink, and didn't take away from the matcha flavor at all, which I feel like has happened at other places for me. I'm dreaming of this matcha latte days later, and need to go back to Kokoro No Coffee as soon as I am in town again. This was a spectacular find, and I hope this spot gets all the love it deserves! There is truly nothing like a great business ran by a great person and you can tell there's so much intention put into this concept. Highly, highly recommend and I could not sing praises more!
