    Corn on the cob JAN2026
    Franklin M.

We stopped by on New Year's day and this hole in the wall was one of only places that was open. It doesn't have the most wonderful interior decorations but it's suitable and they offer indoor seating. We ordered two corn on the cobs, cheese tamale, and a green juice drink. The Mexican corn was bland and tasted more like hominy but with the added ingredients it had better flavor. The tamale was good and that green drink was even better.

ONE OF THE BEST SPOTS EVER. The best green juice I've ever tasted in my life. YOU MUST TRY! I'm in heaven. Esquire is to die for. Nom nom nom. Great cozy comfortable space.

Super mal servicio... ordené unos tostilocos y solo me dieron cueritos y pepinis cortados a una pulgada de grueso y un un galón de salsa Valentina Para nada son lo qué tienen en la foto... pueden matar a alguien con tanta acidez

Bionicos has strawberries, bananas, raisins, cantaloupe, apples, coconut, granola, & sweet cream!

I love supporting small family owned businesses especially those that have a history within the neighborhood. Anyone saying that the prices are high need to realize the prices of food in general are very high now. They have delicious items and I highly recommend! Bionicos has strawberries, bananas, raisins, cantaloupe, apples, coconut, granola, & sweet cream! support and stop gentrification in our community!

The size of the cucumbers ... really?!! They are bigger than my Tostitos

This is the 3rd time my co-workers and I ordered from this place. 1st time was perfect! Second time I ordered a Choco Milk and it was "Hershey chocolate syrup" terrible! If you are Mexican you definitely know what is Chocomilk and that's exactly what I was expecting to have. Today I ordered Tosti Locos The pork cueritos are HUGE! The cucumbers are HUGE! It doesn't have jicama it is definitely missing a bunch of ingredients! They don't put a lot of chamoy and Chile and there is None tamarindo! Seriously what is wrong with this place!!

Worst esquite ever, so watery, looks like a mayo soup, corn also wasn't cooked

#3 low-fat yogurt with honey, granola, coconut, strawberries, bananas and apples. $6.25

Great place to satisfy those cravings for fruit. I always order a bionico - bananas, apples, strawberries, melon, light cream, coconut shavings, granola, and raisins. You have the option of customizing the order without incurring an extra charge (I don't like raisins or the taste of melon with strawberries). It may not look look like much on the outside or the inside, but "she's got it where it counts, kid." The service is always great regardless of the time of day or if they are getting ready to close. Will keep coming back!

I remember when shaved snow was trending around 2010, maybe even earlier, and thinking how unique it was compared to regular shaved ice. If you've never had shaved snow, the flavor is actually incorporated into the frozen block itself. The machine shaves it into super thin, delicate flakes that practically melt in your mouth. It's completely different from traditional shaved ice, where you're mainly eating ice topped with flavored syrup. Watching the machine shave those thin layers off the block and voilà--you have your dessert! The $8.75 price for a small is definitely hard to ignore when it costs more than some boba drinks or even a bánh mì. But considering there aren't many shaved snow shops left and Salju managed to survive past COVID, I understand that prices have gone up. Shaved snow was honestly a game changer in the frozen dessert category for me. If you've never experienced it before, I recommend trying it at least once! Location & Parking: 3.5/5 Salju is tucked inside a small plaza with limited parking, so finding a spot may take some patience when it's busy. Ambiance: 4/5 There are a few tables inside, but it was crowded when we visited around 8:30 PM--understandable on a hot summer evening! The atmosphere was lively and filled with families and kids enjoying their desserts. Definitely more of a fun dessert stop than a quiet café. Overall: 4/5 The price makes it harder to consider this an everyday dessert, but shaved snow itself is still such a unique treat. With fewer shops specializing in it these days, I'm glad Salju is still around. If you've never tried shaved snow, it's worth experiencing at least once--especially on a hot summer night.

I didn't taste the condensed milk at all. The flavor is delicious. Towards the bottom of the shaved ice, there wasn't anymore flavor though.

I got here a little after lunch on a Sunday. I went to the counter and the girl that was helping me said a few things were sold out. Totally understandable since it was past the lunch rush. A few things was an understatement, more like half the menu was sold out. I asked for the Katsu which they had listed as available. I was then told they are out of Katsu sauce. Fine, I'll take the teriyaki beef which was listed as available. I was then told they are out of teriyaki sauce. I then asked if there a was a fried rice dish that I can order. I just got a blank stare. This is not helpful at all. I was pretty annoyed. I ended up ordering the teriyaki beef with no teriyaki sauce and macadamia nut pancakes. I got the food and it was terrible. The macadamia nut pancakes were undercooked so it was doughy. The teriyaki beef had chunks of fat on it. I'm never coming to this place ever again.

An adequate parking lot is located in front of these stores. Upon entering tea spots I was greeted by a friendly hello. I walked to the counter and asked questions about the types of food that they had available. The staff described a variety of selections. They are definitely more than just tea and smoothies. They have what they call 'snacks' on a large menu. These are more than snacks, they are full meals. I decided on some Ramen and Potstickers. I was impressed that they asked me exactly how I wanted things prepared. Spice levels were a prime consideration, so I decided on medium spicy. As I waited on my order, I looked at their beverage menu that was filled with different Boba coffees, teas and slushies. There are also quite a number of items on the menu that I want to try with different styles of preparation. After about 10 minutes my food was ready and I was out the door and on my way home. They do have areas inside this location to dine inside. When I unpacked my food at home, I was pleased to see how carefully it had been put together. They had everything individually wrapped. I was eager to try the potstickers first. The Pork Potstickers were delicious. Great flavor and moist with a crisp outside edge. The Japanese Miso Ramen wes filled with flavor and spice. I added some Sriracha and Soy Sauce to complete my preference. I look forward to coming back and enjoying some different beverages and flavors from the kitchen.
