The contract is full of penalties for the customer if we are not at home when they deliver. They promised delivery on the 11th. It's now the 24th, and no one has called us, no updates, no explanation. It seems they can delay as long as they want and break their commitments, while we are expected to sit at home and wait for weeks. On top of that, if we leave and miss their random delivery attempt, we risk getting fined - even though they already missed their promised date by two weeks. This is unacceptable. Payment should only be collected upon delivery, not in advance for this "great" furniture shop ! Never again with this store, and I would not recommend it to anyone !!!

The moment I stepped onto the showroom floor, I was instantly mesmerized. They had an awesome sale going, and I ended up spending approximately 14 hours shopping over two days! My salesperson, Andra, was super patient and extremely accommodating. In the end, I gleefully purchased 15 superb pieces of furniture, which they delivered to Wisconsin for a reasonable extra fee. The delivery and setup by Brandon and Guillermo were absolutely perfect. I originally went back to Dania because I never forgot my first experience there. Back in 2008, I was living in Oak Park, IL, had just sold my house, and wanted new furniture. A friend spoke very highly of them, so off I went. Their customer service was excellent, and the furniture was high-quality and reasonably priced. To make matters even better, their delivery and setup were awesome. I was so pleased that I never forgot the experience--in fact, I still have the bedroom set and bookcases I purchased back then! I've personally filed complaints with the Michicgan Attorney General, Minnesota Attorney General, and BBB. Crate and Barrel responded to the BBB complaint effectively saying "Yeah we lied about timelines, oh well and we'll keep doing it to other people." So, you've been warned. Room & Board is better quality and they are honest. Crate & Barrel is dishonest and fraudulent.

This Northbrook store is a nice representative of the chain, carrying all of the usual merchandise you've come to expect. For us we always gravitate to the glassware where the Crate & Barrels have a great selection. We especially like the Aspen line which is made in Slovakia, and on this visit purchased a box of eight martini glasses: while you can spend $15 per glass on some brands if you desire, this line has more reasonable prices like $6.25 ... $49.95 for eight. We also got a few other items as Crate & Barrels are famous for stocking a few things that you won't find anywhere else. Nice visit. Crate & Barrels show that brick and mortar stores aren't done yet and can compete with the Amazons very nicely.

Workers were friendly and helpful as well. They had some varieties of tomatoes I've never tried, so I might just be back for more.
