We had them delivered via a third party company that they recommended and that company was on time, and reached out to share their feedback before they moved the furniture which was greatly appreciated. Charlie always walked away when he felt we needed time to discuss things in private and it was much appreciated. That is the epitome of outstanding customer service. I then decided to try a few recliner chairs to see if that would be a better fit, but I guess I am a hard sell. Let me say this- Luxilon has a great selection of in stock sofas and chairs (among other furniture), and they do custom orders as well. I was just overwhelmed and needed to take a break and re-assess what I truly want and need before bothering them again. We saw so many great items, we ended up purchasing a small, inexpensive accent table which was a great price and very well made. It was an item we didn't even intend on buying, but it was a great deal and a very unusual and practical piece that will fit under my existing chair AND sofa allowing me to eat a meal/use a computer/write a letter, etc... My husband also was able to buy a couple of lift thingys for some existing chairs which we own. Charlie is also providing help in installing these for us and he is going above and beyond in doing so. Unfortunately, Lisa had no time to help me. The next day I contacted the store but again, Lisa had no time to help me. I did leave a message for the store manager to call me. However, "Taylor" did not return my call. I then stopped by their location in Skokie. They had the chair. The sign said $1650 was the price. But when the salesman rang it up, the price had jumped to $1730. A supervisor I called at the corporate level could not explain the difference. Then a customer service woman called me to say they quoted a chair with lumbar support. I did not ask for this extra feature. I was not told the sale was being rung up with the add on. I could not get the store to see what the problem was here. So I will not be buying from Penny Mustard. If you are buying there, double-check the posted price versus what is rung up. Something is definitely off with their selling practices In my opinion.

If you are willing to pay a little more I'm sure there are better furniture stores out there. The place gives off major 1970's used car salesman vibes. We were approached by multiple salesman and the one we ended up with followed us around the whole store, and pressured up to pick something out that very day. Wasn't a huge fan of that vibe.
