Atmosphere, too, is more "pub" than fine dining, but very much in line with what one would expect from this style establishment. Prices, especially by Fairfield County standards, are very reasonable. We will continue to frequent for sure when in the area.

A stone fireplace anchors the space while low, ambient lighting, wood tables, and leather seating create an intimate, inviting atmosphere. I was excited to learn that the bar featured Misguided Spirits' Howe & Hummel vodka from New York City. Stirred, it produced a martini with a subtle sweetness and a hint of cracked pepper, served in a classic cocktail glass with an angular bowl and slender stem. The design felt timeless, keeping the drink chilled while offering a crisp, polished presentation, with the Castelvetrano olives taking center stage. When it comes to the food, I have no notes. The wings were perfectly seasoned, with meat that fell off the bone; the Bibb salad was fresh and dressed beautifully with house lemon oil; and the thin, crispy pizza lived up to its name, with bright sauce and fresh toppings. This is a spot you won't want to leave and one you'll be eager to return to, familiar, fun, and full of character.

We ordered the falafel as an appetizer and I will dream of this! You could tell it was freshly made and I don't think I'll ever have falafel that tastes better anywhere else! I had the shepherds pie, and it was delightful. There was a lot of beef and it had a lot of flavor.. even the potatoes had an incredible flavor and it was more than enough as a serving! The waitress was very sweet and accommodating - even with their technology down. 10/10 would recommend!

Unassuming from the outside, this local treasure opens into a cozy restaurant and event space with exceptional food and drink. Between the crackling fireplace, plush lounge seating, warm wood accents, sleek bar, and navy banquettes, the atmosphere feels both inviting and refined. The bartenders and entire staff were warm, polished, and genuinely attentive, creating an experience centered around the guest. My martini was aggressively shaken and served in a short coupe, topped with a delicate layer of ice crystals; despite the chill, the vodka-to-vermouth ratio was perfectly balanced. It was garnished with stellar Castelvetrano olives, freshly opened and proudly presented as an elevated touch to the classic cocktail. As for the fare, it was hands down one of the best meals I've enjoyed in quite some time. The Wagyu coulotte was cooked to perfection, accompanied by expertly prepared oyster mushrooms and crisp shoestring tallow fries. I could go on and on about the experience, but I'll simply say I can't wait to return. The thoughtful details and genuine hospitality made for an outstanding night out.
