Chicken fried rice with noodles Arroz Chaufa de Pollo

Food was very delicious. My family and I enjoyed it very much. The server was friendly and even gave us some suggestions from the menu. I was very impressed with their calamari because not everybody gets it right and their chicken fried rice was good. Oh! How can I forget about the portions - you get a lot of food! Nice ambiance.

Delicious Peruvian food. I had Lomo Saltado, which was wonderful. Also, the beef empanada was great. Inca Cola to drink put me back in Peru! Very attentive staff and a nice, quiet place with plenty of seating.

I got really excited to see South American representation. However I was slightly disappointed when I chose the ceviche and it didn't come with the squid and octopus like it had mentioned in the description. The empanadas had a great flavor but were hot on the outside and frozen on the inside. The sweet plantains were good. That's really hard to mess up. My friend got a seafood dish but it didn't have much seafood in it and it was all rice. The service was great though. I would still come back and give it another try.

Only option from Kansas city for peruvian food. If you haven't tried peruvian food before, this place is a must. Peruvian food is easily one of the best in the world. If you don't believe me, take a look at the Rank of best restaurants in the World for 2022. Peru has 2 restaurants in the top list, one of them Number 2 in the world. Food here is very good. If you visit Wichita then Gabys for sure is the best restaurant in Kansas.

This is my favorite Peruvian place in KC, and while it is true that I know of no other Peruvian places in KC I have nothing but the highest praise for them. I have had tons of Peruvian food in LA and Miami and this restaurant is on par with the quality and authenticity. Amazing service. If you have never had Peruvian you cannot go wrong with the classic "Lomo Saltado" it is like a stir fry of skirt steak, onion, tomato and thick french fries served with rice and delcious spicy Aji sauce. Peruvian food has a huge native and asian influence - add that to Latin food and you get one of the best combos of flavors known to mankind. Please please go here. They also have a bar that serves pisco sours and other South American beverages.

I was surprised to see theres an authentic Peruvian restaurant in Olathe so my friend and I had to come check it out. Overall the food was pretty good other than when we ordered the empanadas they were freezing cold on the inside but hot on the outside... my entree was tasty but I wish it had less rice and more of the seafood. Overall not a bad experience but there were certain things that I wish would have been better. I hope to start seeing more Latin restaurants in KC!

I've never been to Peru, so I can't vouch for how authentic the food is, but I will go on record as saying this restaurant serves up some meals that can compete with any restaurant in town. The menu offers up a variety of options, but I focused on the rice-based dishes. Of those, the Aeropuerto de Pollo (chicken fried rice) and the Arroz con Mariscos (rice with seafood) stood out. Both dishes featured contrasting textures and bold flavors. Those flavors tasted better when I added some of the green and red sauce to the mix. I will warn you, service was a bit of an adventure. Some of the staff only speaks Spanish, which is fine. My servers were patient and polite while we got on the same page. They also did a good job following up and making sure I enjoyed my visit. This is a unique little spot. I highly recommend, especially if you're looking for something a little different.

This was our last stop while we were visiting Miami. We also grabbed a few things from the bakery next door before coming to the restaurant for food. There were tons of great baked good options at the bakery, making it very difficult not to take one of each item. The restaurant also had an extensive menu. The food was very authentic and tasty. Great last choice in Miami!

Steak with pesto spaghetti. Steak was fully cooked, tastes amazing! Spaghetti was good as well but carries a lot of pesto flavor.

I would say very good place for the first time. Atmosphere was good, the waiter attended us great.. did not leave us hanging or waiting long. Would recommend ordering the natural juices, they are not strong and taste completely well if your into something different.

The Aji de Gallina was disgusting. . This place was over priced and definitely won't recommend it to anyone.

I was super disappointed. So much money for some un flavored food. The meat was chewy and the crema had no taste.

The sign on the building is small and hard to read. (Note to owners-PLEASE get bigger /more clear signage). I truly thought it was a beach themed bar and grill until I finally pulled into the parking lot to take a closer look the other day. Upon realizing it was a Salvadoran restaurant my husband and I immediately tried it. At first, one might be struck by the old farmhouse smell of the restaurant. It's not entirely pleasant but easily forgotten once drinks and food are served. It honestly gives the place a lot of charm. The service was great, and the food came out quickly. Every single bite was truly delectable. With a creative menu and fresh ingredients, you an't go wrong here. In never eat leftovers and I took every single leftover home and ate it the next day. We loved the little set up with a great amount of seating, a clean bathroom, and outlets for people who want to study or get some work done. We were a little hungry and got the empanadas and both tried the Yerba mate. We've never had the traditional yerba mate and were excited we could try it here. Once our order was ready one of the employees was happy to explain to us how to properly drink the yerba mate. She was patient, kind, and professional the whole time. There's definitely a trick to drinking it without getting the tea leaves through the straw. As we enjoyed our snack and drink we could tell the caffeine kicks in a little later. So, if you're up to trying traditional yerba mate, be aware that you'll get a gradual burst of energy a little later. I personally loved the decor and the atmosphere here. They had little knick knacks you could purchase, a small refrigerator with items to take with you as well. I got a couple of key chains for my sister and myself and my boyfriend and I have already noted that we want to come back here the next time we're in Kansas City!

This, combined with the fact that I've been dying to try arepas and Venezuelan food ever since hearing Anthony Bourdain's love of the cuisine, and our family HAD to stop by to give it a try! We pulled up on a mild Friday evening around 7:30, and like normal, there were many other people gathered! We got lucky, and a table opened up as we were walking up to order. We made a point of trying to order many different things to try! We had Arepa Pelua, Cachapa El Point, Parrilla El Point, and Yuka Frita! We had a seat after ordering, and food began becoming ready about 5 minutes after we ordered! The folks running the truck were very helpful, and the gentleman running the grill was extra kind and courteous! Everyone loved everything! I think my favorite was the Cachapa, but all the meats in the parrilla plate and the yuka fries were fantastic as well! The cachapa was a perfect blend of savory and sweet for the outer pancake portion, and filled with incredible cheese and cream! The cheese reminded me of a delicious mozzarella! We all finished everything, and were super full! Each plate is a. perfect size, and very filling...but, the parrilla plate in particular really had a lot! We tag-teamed helping my son finish it up! One thing I really liked, and the reason El Point gains an above-average 4th star in my "Facility" rating below, is that they have a half dozen tables and chairs to sit at, which is definitely above and beyond what you see at most food trucks, which tend to be grab and go! Having seen these tables when we had driven by was a selling point when trying to decide where to dine at that evening! Suffice to say, it will NOT be long before we head back! I have my eye on their loaded burgers, hot dogs, and pepitos! Food = 5/5 Facility = 4/5 Service = 3/5 Ambiance = 3/5 Value = 3/5

The gentlemen taking orders have accessible menus at the window and are down to business. We went big and tried the Hamburguesa Full-- the mix of meat flavors and salsas fell short of what we were hoping for, maybe too much for our tastebuds in one bite. Maybe the buns can be toasted; with the salsas, hash browns, lettuce, etc. the buns were soggy quicker. We also tried the Tequeños-- breaded cheese sticks; though not crunchy, they were tasty and cheesy. Their mini empanas (are truly mini) and come in a mix of three flavors--cheese, chicken & shredded meat (mechada). These were crispy and had a unique taste. If you have a sweet tooth, they offer a small sample of Venezuelan treats (Chucherias) stored in plastic containers-- we had some Susy & Marilú cookies-- good amount of sweet in a cookie. If we give this another try we would have the Tequeños and try an arepa. Cash & Cards accepted; $$
