I was in the area and decided I wanted some Mediterranean food. I yelped a place and this spot came up. Paros is located next to a gas station. Parking is very limited. Paros was not too far from the 5 fwy too, extra score! I called in my order and ordered the Chicken Ranchera plate. The Chicken Ranchera is chicken sliced up in strips. I love that they cut the chicken like this, it makes it much easier to eat. The Chicken was tender. My plate came with a base which I picked rice and two sides. They had a good amount of options to pick from. My two sides were french fries and spicy hummus. Both sides were okay. The service was good. We were driving home from SD on a rainy day and we needed something to eat. We almost opted for fast food to keep things easy. But we wanted something fresh so this is what lead us here. We called in our order which made things quick and easy. We got 2 chicken kabob plates with fries and salad. One side hummus and the other with cucumber yogurt sauce with an added order of chicken on the side. Man everything was GOOD! The portions were fair for the price and you could tell it was all made with care. I will definitely be going back when in the area. Fries are so delicious, the seasoning takes me back to Shabbaz in Leimert Park in the early 2000s. I ordered the beef kabob wrap, the meat was fresh juicy, flavorful. Pickled Red onion, Persian cucumber, mixed greens. My only disappointment was the lack Armenian staple sauces. Tahini sauce & garlic sauce king wrap supreme. Decent food, but this last experience was not a good one. This is the only place I've ever been to that says no to doing 50/50 for your base( half salad and half rice for example). Only one. I don't see why, as the cost for the plate is the same. Maybe I'm missing something. I asked nicely if there's any way they can do 50/50, and she rudely said it's only one. A really solid Mediterranean spot that just opened another location! The restaurant is tucked away beside the gas station, and you can either park in the limited spots in front of the restaurant or in the other adjacent strip. I ended up getting the beef lule kebab plate, and they give you a bunch of options for sides to customize your experience. The beef was SO tender and seasoned perfectly - probably one of my favorite spots for this kind of kebab in general! I also enjoyed that I could have fries as the base for this plate. They do give pretty generous portions, so there should be enough food to make you full or even take home leftovers. I'd definitely be back if I'm in the area! read more

I ordered the chicken kabob wrap and it was pretty tasty. Nice size chunks of flavorful chicken, tomatoes, lettuce and onions. I ordered a small cucumber dip (which they don't call tzatziki, which is what it was). Food was pretty good, but nothing exceptional. The one thing that really turned me off was when the cashier (a nice young lady), used the broom to clear a table. The broom she then used to sweep the floors with. I about gagged. I waited to see if she would come back and go over it with a proper disinfectant, and it literally took her 15 minutes to get back to it. She was busy chit chatting with a young man who got her number for later. Priorities. The fact that she did that at all with the broom - while customers were eating nearby - made me question the whole experience. I don't think I'll be going back. read more
