Let me first point out this business has potential. We did a random stop here on our way home and we were a little unsure as it was empty inside none of the arcade games were lit up nor was any tv on. I am assuming they had just opened not to long ago (we visited at 12PM) but we waited for our food in the dinning area, food took about 30/40 minutes no biggie, the large pepperoni pizza could have been cooked a little longer, the pepperonis were not all the way cooked through. The 3 piece fried chicken we order was super crispy which isn't a bad thing if you like crispy chicken. The salad was your basic pizzeria salad. The lettuce was room temperature and the ranch tasted like hidden valley ranch not the usually restaurant ranch. The sides of ranch were brought to us in random containers, one looking a fruit cup. Not sure it was ever used and then washed out but it definitely threw us off. The service was good, you can tell it is family owned which is why I have an extra star for our visit, I understand a small business in a area where there is not a lot of traffic can not do so well. The owner Andy called me back. He took responsibility for the mix up and apologized. He had left me a message saying sorry and it was a mix up thanks to some technical issues of multiple orders coming in at the same time. I later called back spoke to Andy's wife whom I talked to when I initially called. Still not impressed with her customer service but her husband had already offered a complementary pizza for us to try as an apology and to make it right. I know that they can't go back in time to get the pizzas for the class party so I appreciate the effort. She is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I called the next day to redeem the offer of a pizza. Talked to Andy and was really impressed on how apologetic he was. We picked up the pizza about 30 minutes later. My husband went in and got it and was blown away by how friendly Andy was. We will for sure go back because Andy was awesome and the pizza was delicious . We got the combo which was piled high with toppings and my husband got a side of jalapenos and Andy gave him a whole side dish of them. Great quality pizza. Staff being so rude and unfriendly doesn't help the filth issue. People don't even smile. Today was our second time ordering from Antonious Pizza in Cherry Valley, Ca. Unfortunately, this experience was the same as our first. Not impressed! Our first order just like our second order was WRONG. And not due to a miscommunication over the phone. We ordered calamari, mozzarella sticks, pepperoni calzone, and what should have been a meat lovers calzone. We were very disappointed when we saw ranch dressing with our calamari instead of marinara sauce, same for the mozzarella sticks. Ranch dressing instead of marinara sauce. Nowhere on the website does it ask if you would like one dressing over the other. Although, my pepperoni calzone was delish. This place has gone downhill and we won't eat here again. Placed an online order. Why would they even take an online order??! And why should it take 30min to prep lettuce in a container ,topped with cheese & meat? Order was placed at about 8:30pm. We received a confirmation text that order would be ready between 9:02-9:23pm (?!) Well, they took my money and closed up shop! No one in the back, no one cleaning , signs on, but locked up and all dark. My husband went in today and owner said her employee was there until 9:30pm. Big fat lie. She said she left at 9pm, however order was submitted and somehow accepted, & she was on her way and so was everyone else! They were closed, locked up, & no vehicles in sight. NO apology given by actual owner & was adamant that someone was there. We were across the street, mind you, trying to figure out what the hell was going on. A younger adult did apologize, but damage was done. They're lucky they got this rating, only because we did get our order, but on Sunday at 3:30pm! Good luck to this business....With this type of work ethic, won't doubt if they close up shop permanently. Kinda crappy work ethic and ATTITUDE from owner. And btw, didn't think it take this much trouble to get a salad! My salad doesn't look great either. Meat looks shredded & not too inviting. Just more-so not impressed with owner's krappy non-polite attitude. She could've taken responsibility and just righted a wrong. 5/26/2022.Worst I have ever had. I ordered a small pizza and 4 piece chicken. It was $32.00 and it took almost two hours when I was told it would be 30-40 minutes. The pizza was soggy and cold. They put onion though I asked them to not, and they told me the chicken had wedges.Not only I didn't get the wedges but I asked all dark chicken and they gave me over cooked white meat...I have now been calling to report it for the last 20 minutes and they don't answer the phone. I've never experienced this before but called to order one calzone for pickup. The guy said 45 minutes, I get to the location and they hadn't even written down my order. I waited another 40 minutes and they still hadn't made it then they tell me they're already cleaning their kitchen and don't have the ingredients to make it...I was at a loss for words. If that is the case and they're overwhelmed then fine just tell me either when I called or when I showed up to get my order. No offer of any compensation or anything. I just ordered a pizza online and good price for five items but... I did not like the fact that they just added red and orange peppers on there when I requested green peppers! The taste is totally different so they really should honor what they have on their menu board I believe. I just ordered their tuna fish sandwich 2 weeks ago and it is absolutely fantastic. I have had it twice since then. So I do suggest you asked them to scoop out the bun. That really seems to help the crunchiness of the crust come through. It is a large sandwich plenty of meat plenty of vegetables. We've now made it a regular stop when I have lunch with my buddies. So I'll start from the top. I called in an order for delivery and the gentleman who took my order repeated everything back to me, a 14 inch Fiesta, a side salad with 3 cups of ranch, and a 12 inch pepperoni. He said it would be 31.90 and be here in 45. We waited 55 minutes for the delivery driver to arrive, but that wasn't a huge deal. When he arrived, he had in the typical "hot" bag for pizzas my two pizzas and three cups of ranch. I signed the credit slip gave the driver a tip and mentioned the side salad. He proceeded to search the "hot" bag and not find the salad. He said he would return shortly. Now for the interesting part: we received a call approximately 15 minutes later from the owner stating he hadn't charged us for the salad. I explained to him that he repeated the order back to me which he denied. Then my wife got on the phone after figuring out pricing and that there was no way we should have been charged that much according to their prices on their website. After the owner repeatedly interrupted her his only explanation was that the delivery charge was 2 dollars and the ranch was 1.333333333333 per cup save a little for tax. There's a sign in this place that says no outside food or drinks, but you might as well bring some with how long you have to wait to get your food. First, the place was absolutely disgusting. There were leftovers all over the tables and the chairs were ripped. Only one employee was cleaning up and I feel kinda bad for the guy. Second, it took over an hour to even get our food. We got our pizza served to us before our appetizers, too. Best of all, they took an hour after we ordered curly fries to tell us that they didn't have anymore, so we should order something else. Other customers seemed upset that their food was taking a long time and when I walked up to ask about our food, I saw they were already getting chewed out by someone about the wait they endured for their food. Third, in the arcade, machines kept running out of tickets and when we told an employee, they said they would check it out and put more in but they never did. Money on the machines to get prizes = wasted. Fourth, no table got any order numbers so the server was stuck having to ask who got what food to every table just to find who actually ordered it. Overall, this restaurant was a mess and I genuinely feel bad for anyone who comes here without knowing how it is. The food is alright but extremely greasy and not worth an hour plus wait. I ordered some pizza for takeout for my son's birthday. I ordered 8 x-large pizzas (cheese and pepperoni) and needed to pick them up at 5:45. The owner told me that he had 3 other large orders but said no problem. Since I've had some pretty bad experiences with various chain pizza places, I didn't get my hopes up. When I arrived at 5:45, I was pleasantly surprised when they brought all of my pizzas out piping hot! A+ service. The even better surprise was when I got home and found that these inexpensive pizzas were delicious. The crust was perfectly cooked and delicious. I could eat it by itself. The cheese was fantastic and wonderfully stretchy. One thing to note is that these pizzas are very filling. We bought enough for my guests to get 2-3 pieces each but ended up with four whole pizzas left over. MORE FOR ME!!! I plan on going there again soon and try to dine in. They have a fairly large indoor seating area and a sizable game room. It all seems very clean. I also noticed that they serve burgers, pasta, and broasted chicken. If the rest is even half as good as the pizza, I will go home happy. You'd never expect such a great place to be found in the little town of Cherry Valley but this is a gem. read more

Anyway - we order and sit down in the dumpy dining room to wait....and wait....and wait. Seriously forever! While we wait I get some tokens for the games to keep the kids busy. Put tokens in 4 games....none of them worked. Seriously not even one!!! Whatever. Finally after at least an hour our pizza and bread sticks arrive. SHOCKER - we got the wrong pizza. At this point I don't event care because I would die of old age before we got a replacement so we just eat it. And the food is not worth the wait. It's too bad because the location has potential, but it is just poorly run and it seems that everyone besides the lady working the register (probably the owner) didn't give a damn. I hate giving a bad review but this Antonious pizza deserves it. The guy over the phone had ZERO customer service skills. They also had a long delivery wait of an hour but it actually took 90 minutes. Every time I've ordered pizza and was given a long wait time it alway came before the estimated time. Then the pizza was under cooked, the toppings were still raw, the onions, bell peppers were raw and the pepperoni barely had any fat rendered out of it. Then one pizza box was smashed down on the pizza and the cheese was stuck to the lid of the box. With all of the other pizza places around I'll no longer be going to this place for my pizza. I hope they get their act together and make a LOT of changes and soon read more
