Sold me a car that has so many issues never disclosed anything wrong with it do not trust this dealer I'm going through the process to file a small claim on this company everything that has fluid is leaking I took it to there shop so many times because day one of me having it it had issues idling and it shifted hard I sent it there 3 times last time it came back with no oil and the oil plug was torqued to 1000 worthless dealership. Vary condescending and dismissive folk. Having been a loyal customer of Antwerpen Chevrolet service center (formerly Jeff Barnes Chevrolet) since 2008, I am disappointed by my experience following the dealership's change in ownership. I have never written a review like this before and I really really wanted to be able to continue using the service department at this dealership for its convenient Eldersburg location and community feel, but suspect the new management is no longer operating with integrity. I brought my vehicle in for a compressor replacement, AC recharge, and an oil change--repairs that should have been routine. The time taken to complete the compressor replacement and AC recharge was excessive, with the service department dragging out the repairs for days, longer than necessary considering I made my appointment three weeks in advance. It is my opinion that work was strategically delayed to help manufacture up-charges. I was left without my vehicle for an unreasonable period, and communication about timelines were incorrect. First the work would be done in one day, then in two days, then three. Worse, the cost was outrageous. I was billed $2,400 for the compressor replacement and AC recharge--a price far above industry standards. As a long-time customer, I suspect the new ownership is inflating prices to take advantage of loyal patrons. The place has a dishonest vibe that it never did before. When I brought up my concerns about the excessive delays, inflated costs, I was met with a dismissive and condescending response. Instead of addressing my issues or offering a resolution, the representative launched into a lecture about the technicalities of replacing a compressor, completely ignoring my valid complaints. This unprofessional behavior only deepened my frustration and confirmed to me the dealership's deliberate dishonesty. I strongly caution others to avoid this dealership's service department unless you're prepared to overpay and endure unnecessary delays. read more

Beware of service department, was told a price to replacing a 5 ft coolant hose but after picking up truck I asked for the hose they replaced but it was a partial section of the hose that I was told you cannot do a partial part , after asking why whole hose was not replaced I was told it would have been double of what i was being charged, after calling two other dealers I was told it will be less than I had paid and the whole 5 ft hose would have been installed. Service manager called and they did install the remaining section of hose but not until getting Store manager involved an then I was told servive manager was going to resubmit on extended warranty but no record of that has been received by Zurich after 7 days time. I feel that they got the money for the install an now they could care less about me being reimbursed the charges as the warranty would be the paying them instead of me or possibly warranty has agreed an they are just keeping both sides of payment. The bottom line here is that whenever you have parts installed you should get the fauly part and double check that complete part was installed and all the screws bolts back as I didn't mention earlier that 4 screws were not put back onto inner fender an mudflap. read more

We were told that it would be here for almost a week straight and then after calling multiple times we were told that the vehicle had been sold. Sent in an online inquiry and immediately received a follow up from JESSE, guys like him make the entire car buying experience easy and fun. We called in expressing interest in a SUPRA Launch Edition and JESSE did his homework in advance, he knew all of the right answers and was able to answer any question we may have had, a conversation with him felt like a winning round of jeopardy. We ended up purchasing the car, sight unseen and relied heavily on all of his answers. He was very thorough with photos and videos, didn't matter the time of day or night when I sent a text, he replied. He got us the exact price we wanted, worked with our transporter to make sure the car was secured and hauled away for delivery. My experience with Antwerpen Eldersburg Service department was atrocious.I put my trust in them, and they failed to fix the problem plus charge me $$$$$.I brought it back and told them they need to fix it right this time. Just purchased a vehicle from this dealership. It was falsely advertised, from the listing, the salesperson and the sales manager. My father is retired and was looking for his last vehicle, just to find that he was lied to!!! After talking to the manager ( Bill), he only gave us the option to bring it back or pay for the upgrade out of pocket. They claim that they mass advertise the vehicles but when you ask how, they say by the vehicles independent VIN. Bottom Line.... their mistake and they will not own up to it. They just offered to bring the vehicle back so they can fool the next guy!!! Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Buyer beware of Renda and her magic desk (you will see what I mean if you ever do business there - her entire desktop is computerized). She's a fast talker and quick with her pen to point out where you should initial based on the answers you give to her questions. Make sure you read what you are initialing and DO NOT take her word for it. She will sell you services/warranties that you clearly decline all the while distracting you with endless stories of her pet goats that like to jump on trampolines and passersby that leave fan mail in her mail box. It got to the point that I had to ask her to please focus on the business at hand as she had a story for everything she tried to sell me. I eventually waived my hand over her entire desk and told her that I was not interested in any of the extras or warranties she was trying to sell me. I made it VERY clear - no mistake about it. My 31-year-old daughter was with me and attested to the same. Once we wrapped things up at Renda's magic desk I was directed back to the salesman who was ready to send me on my way. When I asked for the paperwork to review I was handed a flash drive and was told that everything was conveniently saved on the drive - only to find that I could not access it once I got home. A few weeks later I received an invoice from the company who financed my vehicle and discovered that I was charged close to $4,000 worth of services/warranties that I had declined. I immediately called Renda who pretended not to know anything about what I was talking about (she insisted that I said yes to whatever she sold me and there was no way she made a mistake). At that point I asked to speak to her manager and when I told him about the issue I was placed on a permanent hold. After 30 minutes I eventually called the dealership back from a different phone all the while remaining on hold with my original call and was told that the Manager/GM left for the day. I called several times over the next week or so but the Manager/GM was always conveniently out or I just missed him - never received a call back. I finally went over the GM's head to their Corporate office. Once I explained what was going on the the matter was swiftly taken care of within a few days by a reluctant GM who obviously got a talking to from upper management because when I met with him he was visibly irritated and repeatedly told me that he stood behind his employees 100%. He was not interested in anything that I had to say. Not a very pleasant individual to deal with to say the least. Needless to say I will not return to that dealership for any reason and I am a pretty loyal customer (to those who treat people fairly that is). read more
