Well the trip to Porsche Towson started with me being nervous since a few unwanted friends invited themselves along with us to go look at a Panamera we've been eyeing online. I was worried we wouldn't be taken seriously or given any assistance. The Brand Ambassador that we had proved me wrong. RJ was a pleasure to deal with! He knew every last detail about the car we were interested in. Not to mention he was kind and attentive. During the pandemic I would hear rumors of salesman not caring since the cars practically sell themselves. You would never think that with RJ. The environment was also very clean and nice at Porsche Towson. I do feel that it could be a larger showroom with a little more modernization but realistically it works fine for them. My friend ended up putting a deposit down on the car mainly because of RJ. It's great to meet someone at a dealership that you feel like you can trust! When I finally make a decision on which Porsche I want, I will be returning to Porsche Towson. *sidenote: we went to the Porsche in Tysons and it was the exact opposite.

I am not a wealthy person, I work for a non- profit in addition to being a musician. I bought my car many many years ago and I will probably never own such a wonderful vehicle. It's sad that this company is taking advantage of a time when many of us are losing money due to the current pandemic! I took my car into Towson Porsche for a simple task. I needed a new key - the key has never worked. The car was also filled with water when I drove it away and the owners who I contacted personally are NO help! They want me to pay for them to fix the key they didn't program correctly. I have been spoken to in the worst way, I was told to "leave the showroom" and the owners think they have good customer service and that this issue will go away. Please advise who do I turn to now these people are bullies and I have a car that will not lock after paying in excess of $500 for a key! All the male staff is covering their mistakes and the female owner who insisted on telling me she was 5 ft 2 and bossed the men around was arrogant, ignored the issue and had the worst bedside manner. I suppose most people who can afford a Porsche will pay for the garage's mistakes -- right? What's my next step guys? Local media? I have never been treated so poorly thank you Marc and Alison Cohen for supplying me with a car that will not lock, plus the additional water damage. Good Job! See the previous review about Brian Rogers lying to a Porsche Towson customer, he lied to me also, he also never took care of the issues. It seems to be a pattern, good work Cohen team! (please read the response from the owner who is more concerned with how her staff is portrayed through another customer who was allegedly there when I complained. They have NEVER offered to collect the vehicle but I guess it looks good for the public to read. Please check out the other reviews and head to a different Porsche dealer you will not regret your decision.

On Carmax website, they bring you in with a high "quote I sat in my car, thinking it was not even a real Carmax location . After calling the website, the number listed online, they were very kind and the person I spoke to said they did not know about the York Road location and gave me the option to go to Ellicott city or White marsh. I had been to White marsh before to help a young woman buy a car. Three years prior there was no issue with the location. After arriving and having the customer service representative, tell us that it was all right that it would take us 30 minutes to get to our 3 o'clock appointment . We show up at 3:15. Marty was very nice and did their best to help us, but the last place did not even give us any of the paperwork they had. I had to explain that that was unprofessional, then another gentleman who was not the manager told me what my experience was he sat there in front of my face and told the manager that the person at York Road explained everything to us. Then was hesitant when I immediately confronted them. I asked the man if he was there at the location when the information was explain to me they of course, said they were not there. So I had to ask how is it that I'm sitting here with no paperwork and you're telling me how it was explained. I thought this gentleman whose name of course I did not catch, was holding everything he could back from being very angry, that I was daring, to question him . Angela who is the manager of White marsh sat with me like an adult and explained that they would do their best to rectify all of the issues we have been having. I told them very clearly it was not about the price. I am mad because I think the location was unprofessional and disrespectful. The person I thought was holding back from saying what he really wanted to say. looked at the vehicle again after the. York rd location , and tried to tell me that a ticking sound is the same as engine knock. I told him I did not think that's what it was shook their hands and thank you walked back inside and found them guess what talking to the manager, which of course stopped when I walked in I spoke to the manager. She was polite and did what she could to get me out of the store . Overall I would say I will be bringing the car back to the mechanic that just gave it a clean bill of health and if it is true that it has an engine knock this car with 40,000 miles from 2019 . Then we will repair it sell the vehicle move on. What I think is more likely to happen is that they will find something that is causing the ticking and fix it. I literally just looked it up and they said a ticking noise in this model vehicle could be a loose, spark, plug or low oil pressure. And they think I will fall for that and give them the vehicle for several thousand under the original price on the website for a loose spark plug. It is honestly embarrassing. If you want your car to have fake issues so that they can get the best possible price for themselves go to Carmax they will tell you that you're wrong. They will tell you what conversations happened in what way. This visit ended with the young woman trying to sell the car in tears and broken down embarrassing treatment. I will copy this review on the white marsh page as well. Your welcome.

James was friendly, professional, and upfront with me the whole way through. It came down to the Honda HRV LX and the Honda HRV Sport (just a slightly fancier trim). When it came time to compare the out the door costs, I was pleasantly surprised with the numbers. Pretty much everything from the selling price to the doc fee to the state fees was right where I expected it to be. Even the money factor they gave me was acceptable to me based on my credit. This was after I had already looked at OTD costs for a Toyota RAV4 down the street and the numbers they gave me were totally inflated and the entire conversation consisted of so much back and forth between the salesperson and the manager. It took hours and I ended up walking away. At Honda, I told James I fully expected to have to put up a fight but he assured me they did all they could to get everything as low as possible from the start so there was no need for time-wasting back and forth. And based on my EXTENSIVE market research about this car, the numbers checked out and it seemed like a fair price. I know most of the negative reviews on here are regarding the service center which I can't speak to (yet) but if you are in the market for a new car, I can't recommend Honda and James enough. Thanks to the entire team here who made this experience easy and stress-free!

GO TO HUNT VALLEY. I almost never leave reviews but I have had SO many bad experiences within the last 6 months at Owings mill that I need to share with you just how helpful Audi Hunts Valley was this morning. #1 - Service bay: I drove in and couldn't really tell where the service area/drop off area was. I pulled into the garage when the door rolled up, and it was the actual garage where cars were up on hoists and people were working. A technician (G, I later noted his name ) was working in the hood in a car and saw me pull in and sheepishly ask where I should go - he directed me outside to a parking space and walked out to open the door for me. When I pulled out halfway, he said 'oh just leave the car here, there's no spots left so I can take it for you'. I was hurriedly getting my service dog Delta out of the backseat and he said 'no rush at all take your time'. I thanked him and headed inside the doors that he directed me to. #2- Service desk: Lindsey (I later learned her name) instantly welcomed me and asked me about my visit. I told her about my service at 8.30 - it turned out i had come a week early (darn phone alarm) as it was next week on the same day of week at time. Suddenly: #3 -Miracle : G walks in and HANDS ME MY KEYRING BACK WITH MIT LANYARD AND CAR KEY (long side story- I thought I had lost that keyring a few weeks back in the parking lot of Target, downtown Baltimore, and drove and called places endlessly...I was resigned to purchasing then programming another key ($300-400, 2 visits, 1-2 week time)). He just saved me that much time and money and worry. #4-rest of visit - to make things more succinct, Lindsey managed to fit me in right there and then for the full service, it took barely an hour and a half, she was happy to note my preference for stiffer tires and gave me a handful of tire valve caps when I mentioned to her I was missing them. The gentleman in the parts department was kind. Baine at the sales desks was incredibly helpful describing all the Audi etrons to me and telling me all he knew about my Audi A3 -etron sportback, a rather rare hybrid plugin. I didn't see G again but plan on it. The building is incredibly nice, brand new easy to use all-drinks-possible coffee machine, snacks, TV and sitting area, people!! TL;DR: Audi owner? Audi interested? GO TO AUDI HUNT VALLEY. You'll see me there next time! (Plus my wonderful golden retriever)

Really disappointing experience with this dealership…read more We contacted the dealer since we were looking at a pre-owned Audi Q5. After we inquired about the car online, Kevin reached out to us. Since we were looking to trade in our car as part of the sale, we completed the online trade-in estimate. We also told Kevin that we will have our own financing and we would have the check in hand in a day or so. After talking with Kevin on Wednesday evening, the manager Manny reached out and he set an appointment for a Friday at 3 PM. He also stated that while they don't typically hold a car, he will not sell this car until we get there. This is when we would have the check in hand as well. On Friday, just before leaving for the appointment (about a 45 minute drive), we wanted to check something on the car, so we looked at the website again. It was then when we saw the car was no loner on the website and it said "this vehicle is no longer available". We then reached out to Manny and asked him if the car was still available, he didn't respond. Soon after, Kevin responded telling us that they did in fact sell the car (he was not there). We emailed Manny again telling him how unprofessional this was, especially since he sent us an appointment in the first place. Unfortunately, Manny didn't have the decency to return our message, and had Kevin respond--asking if we wanted to come in for another car. Why would we want to spend our money at this dealer after being treated this way. At the end of the day, it is only a car, but the actions taken was totally unprofessional and it goes to show how they treat customers. Do yourself a favor and head over to Audi Owings Mills and ask fro Ethan.

This review reflects the full pattern of my experience with this dealership…read more My vehicle required a full engine replacement under recall, which was completed at this dealership. During that time, I was promised rental reimbursement. I submitted my invoice on December 4 and had to repeatedly follow up for updates. Instead of receiving a clear reimbursement timeline, I was eventually sent an email on March 21, 2025, from then-General Manager Michael Click stating that the dealership would be "severing the relationship" and would no longer service my vehicle. I ultimately did receive my reimbursement -- but only after escalating the issue to AutoNation corporate. It did not come as the result of proactive resolution at the dealership level, and it arrived months later. Shortly after the engine replacement, my catalytic converter failed just before the federal 8-year/80,000-mile emissions warranty expired. That repair was covered, as it should have been. However, within a month or two of that replacement, the heat shielding on the catalytic converter began rattling. When I brought it back, responsibility was denied. Service Manager David Lantz told me, in substance, that if I didn't like it, I could "go somewhere else," and implied I was expecting everything on my car to be replaced for free. My response was simple: only the components that were recalled, under warranty, or potentially affected by prior service work. I was left shocked by his unprofessionalism. What concerned me most was the pattern: My vehicle would go in for one repair and return with another issue shortly after. When I raised that concern, I was met with dismissiveness rather than professionalism. After being unable to get clear communication from management regarding reimbursement and ongoing concerns, I left a one-star review. That review was followed by the email from Michael formally severing the relationship. Fast forward about a year later -- despite being told in writing that they would no longer service me -- I received a phone call offering a "free service" and asking whether this week or next week worked better. That internal disconnect speaks for itself. For comparison, I took the heat shield issue to Acura of Ellicott City. I paid out of pocket, the repair was handled professionally, the staff was respectful, and I had no follow-up issues requiring return visits. My experience at AutoNation Acura Hunt Valley was marked by poor communication, dismissive management responses, and a pattern of unresolved concerns that required escalation beyond the dealership to resolve. This isn't about a free oil change. It's about accountability, consistency, professionalism, and respect. I will not be returning ever!

To be fair, my experience at Bill Kidd's could very well be a fluke too judging by the other positive reviews on here. So take what you will from this review and hopefully you have a better experience than me! I came in to have a routine oil change and the check engine light diagnosed. What was supposed to be a one hour visit, turned into almost two hours. In the end, I was quoted almost 3k to replace the front brakes/rotors, back brakes, replace the oxygen sensor in the engine, and fix the back brake light. Sheesh! I know my car is old, but almost 3k? I asked to just go through with the oil change and have the back brake light fixed before jumping to complete the rest of the recommendations. I walked out paying about $300 and half of that was just for them to diagnose the check engine light. Afterwards, I realized they didn't actually fix the back brake light either... The trouble is, the receipt they give you is like trying to interpret Egyptian hieroglyphics. They list out every single thing they recommended, the cost, and lump all the other services they *say* they did that day in the same list. From this list, it's hard to tell what service was simply recommended and what service was actually performed. Ultimately, I chose to go to a different auto shop down the street who didn't charge me a penny to diagnose the check engine light. I ended up paying half of what Bill Kidd's estimated for the same services (for reference, Bill Kidd's estimated fixing the oxygen sensor for around $600 and the other place did it for $370). Plus, it didn't take nearly as long.
