Anu is a master threader for sure. This has become my go to establishment for affordable threading. Located next to a strip of nail salons on Robertson blvd, her shop is pretty simple - a few chairs, a few women working, and the TV is usually playing something Bollywood. You just sit in the chair, tilt your head back, and let her do her thing! Anu has always done a good job with my eyebrows, especially in a city where it's been surpringly difficult to find someone who does eyebrows well at an affordable price. Anu was great, I have thin and blonde eyebrows and she knew exactly what to do with them. I walked in and luckily no one was there so she helped me right away, it took maybe 10 minutes? I just told her to make them look good and she did just that. I would highly recommend anyone going here. Best threading place! I used to go to Vinitas, but after multiple times of going and still coming out with hair right after they threaded me I decided to find a new place. Saieda is excellent! Every time I go see her she makes my eyebrows look great. I have a tendency of waiting a while between each time I go and I tend to pluck with a tweezer and sometimes mess them up; and yet each time I go, she manages to fix them and make them look better than ever. I am never going here again! I had the worst experience ever, and would not recommend anyone to get their eyebrows or face threaded here. I called and made an appointment in advance to make sure Anu would do my threading. There was no wait when I arrived, and now I know it's because they are not good. Anu did not end up doing my threading, even though I requested her, and she sent a girl who seemed unexperienced. Even worse, she had quite an attitude while she was threading. When I asked her to thread more and remove more hair, she was angry and said I should've told her before she started. She was in a big rush, even though no one was waiting. They don't care about quality, or having good customer service. The chair was uncomfortable and when I asked for a pillow, she just laughed at me. The absolute worst part came when she charged me 35$ for full face threading, when they didn't even touch my eyebrows. I've been going to a much cleaner and better quality salon that only charges $15 for full face plus eyebrow shaping. The price was ridiculous. I'm glad I didn't trust them with my brows. I will not be going here again, and am disappointed in their lack of respect and care for their overpaying customers. read more

I've been visiting Anu before she moved to further up on Robertson. She's truly the best and she truly cares about her clients. I have thick eyebrows and it never hurts and actually feels good when she does my eyebrows. I go there at least twice a month and have been going there for over 3 1/2 years and never had a bad experience. I have seen some clients who get mad at her there and it's usually women with no eyebrows which I don't understand why there even there? There are a couple of parking spots in the back or street parking on Robertson (which is a nightmare). I can't imagine anyone giving her a bad review only the bitter few who don't have eyebrows and they expect her to do a $60 eyebrow service which you would at Anastasia for the $10 Anu chargers. She can only make your eyebrows look good if you have actual eyebrows. read more

I'm really picky about my eyebrows, and used to pay $20 every two weeks to end up with a result I liked. I went to Anu off my friend's recommendation when my normal place was closed, and I will never go anywhere else! First of all, she charges less than $10 for a brow threading--I think it's like $8.50. Secondly, I only have to go every three weeks, and most importantly, since switching my brows have never looked better. Multiple people have complimented them, which sounds ridiculous because seriously, who notices eyebrows that much! She's nice, quick, and VERY GOOD. Cannot recommend enough. read more

I've been going to Anu ever since I found her at Vinita's Salon and when she started her business I continued to faithfully go to her because she's GOOD. I've had my eyebrows done with other threaders and they didn't know how to work with shapes and were inconsistent with their work. Anu is ALWAYS consistent and she is patient, neat, clean and affordable! She's fast so if there's a wait, it's never more than 10minutes. I went to see Anu yesterday as I saw the many high reviews on Yelp. Prior to going I called in to make an appointment and ask for prices. She let me know it was walk in and eyebrow threating was $10. When I arrived she was able to start on my eyebrows right away. I liked her work and she was gentle. On my way out I pulled out a $20 and she said "$15!" Although right before me was a sign with prices for each service and eyebrow threading is $10. I asked "on the phone you told me $10?" And she got nervous and said "oh I thought you were another lady that did another service." Um, that made absolutely no sense. She was the one that was working on me. She wanted to overcharge me. I prefer to go elsewhere and give my honest money to someone honest. Dishonest people never prevail. Shame on you Anu! read more
