This place is a gem! I recently moved from NYC where I was used to going to quality threading boutiques and paying less that $10. When I moved to LA, almost all the threading places were $30-50. After reading many reviews on Yelp, I found Anu! I honestly could not be happier. Regardless of who threads my brows, I am pleased with the results. I feel like when I ask to "only clean up" or ask for a certain shape, I get exactly what I ask for. The process if painless and quick! I get compliments for weeks! I don't know what is but she's can't seem to work well with my eyebrows or forehead. My eyebrows are uneven and I still have hair on my forehead :(.I'm not coming back here ever. She's not as good as people say she is. :(( 2nd time I tried her out, got the same result. read more

I have gone to many other threading studios in Los Angeles and the Central Valley and none compare to the detail oriented skills of Anu. She is down to earth and very skilled. I used to travel 1 hour outside of LA to get my eyebrows threaded because I couldn't find anyone in LA who did a good job. Thanks to Anu, I now only need to commute 10 min to do my eyebrows. Ever since I moved from NYC I've been looking for an inexpensive and high quality place to get me brows done. After trying out different spots in LA, this is by far the best I've found! Anu listened to exactly how I wanted my brows done, gave good advice on how I should shape them, and they look fantastic. Anu is the best in town. I thankfully found her after her leave from Vinita's. I would only go into Vinita's to see her and one day when she wasn't there they told me that she was on a 2 month vacation. I have been threading my eyebrows for years, in different countries and many cities. Anu is hands down the best threader I have ever met. She really understand shape, and the best for your face. One of my eyebrows is higher than the other, and she evens it out perfectly. I used to go to Vanitias to see her, and they had informed me that she was on vacation. Thank god I found out she had opened up her own salon. Her shop is really clean, and she is the nicest person ever. I will never let anyone but her touch my eyebrows ever again! read more

I don't know what happened, maybe it was just an off day for anu. The two girls who got threaded before me also seemed a bit dissatisfied as they had to ask her to change something/ show her missed hair after they looked in a mirror. This was my first time here, and I came due to all the great reviews on yelp. I like my eyebrows as natural looking as possible, and ever since getting a bad thread job a few months ago which gave me ann undesirable arch, I haven't been able to get my brows to look more straight as they were before. For the last few months I was going to another place and the girl there also has amazing reviews and I was happy that she was getting my brows gradually back to how they were, I thought why not try somebody else that has so many 5 star reviews. Major mistake. I told Anu my brow situation and she seemed to listen and when to work, i think she took half of my eyebrow off (which took me a long time to grow back since a few months ago) and there is more of an arch than there was 3 weeks ago when my go-to threader did them. Now, I do not even know when my brows will be back to normal. they were on there way, but not anymore. I think the issue here is communication and a girl the very same day seemed to also have a difficult time getting Anu to listen to exactly what she said, and had to explain a few times. She also left unsatisfied. When I saw my brows in the mirror I was in shock and very upset and left as soon as possible because I just didn't want her to try to fix it and take any more hair out. I thought maybe I was overreacting, but I wasn't. My brows are the opposite of natural now. read more
