Customer service is fantastic, fixed a small problem in my car free of charge in 5 minutes. Mind you, it was a very small tweak but they easily could have manipulated it into a bigger problem and I would have had no idea. I have been waiting a few months to post a review of Anything Automotive. I wanted to actually have good reason to go there a few times before offering up a review. Ryan, the young man who owns this establishment is courteous, kind, and honest. He fixed the crazy wiring on my husbands truck that was all messed up when someone attached a plow and lights. This was a wiring job that we took to Firestone in Auburn and was told they couldn't figure it out, after they had it for hours and charged us $100. But Ryan did it! I recently called him to ask about new tires for my Camaro. He gave me different options and actually read me the details from one of the tires. He led me in a direction and gave me his opinion but never told me what to actually choose. Good mechanics are hard to come by and honest mechanics, even harder! Auto mechanics are a lot like doctors; unless you have a background in the services they provide, you really can't gauge their skill level or motivation to either help you or rip you off. Ryan was recommended by a friend, so I read the glowing reviews online and took a gamble. Well, it paid off! My AC wasn't working and needed service. Ryan not only took the time to thoroughly explain how the AC system works and what the problems could be, he quoted me a very fair all-inclusive price pre-inspection and KEPT HIS WORD. Even more impressive to me was that he also addressed a minor issue with my car's ignition switch (something I hadn't asked about). He fixed that and only charged me for the part without ripping me off by jacking up the cost of that one part, like so many other places do. Now my old CR-V starts every time and the AC blows cold like it should. Was all done quickly, too. Thank you, Ryan, for your excellent and ethical service! I brought my suburban into the shop last week, it was newly purchased with a lot of hidden issues. Needless to say I was PANICKED I thought I had just thrown away a ton of money on a lemon. I asked them to go through the whole car and let me know what needed to be fixed. They thoroughly went through my car and even took the time to go through my warranty to see what was covered. They took photos of everything with a written description of the problem and an estimate on parts and labor. Even though they were busy, Jay took the time to come out and go through the list and explain everything to me. They truly went above and beyond, were very professional and quoted me a excellent price. I got my car back today and it drives like it's brand new. These guys are phenomenal! My car broke down nearby Webster and I was so fortunate to be introduced to Anything Automotive and specifically Ryan. Since I am not from this area and didn't know any shops I was a little scared of meeting someone who is dishonest. However I was really happy to meet Ryan. I used to work on my own vehicles and after speaking with Ryan I do see that he has lots of experience, and what was more important was that he is a very down-to-earth and honest person. He explained in details about the problem I had with my car which is the wheel bearing (after a 10 minute test drive) and that was confirmed by the repair that was done later. He did offer me a very competitive rate and he definitely put himself in my shoes explaining what I should and should not consider. I always run a test to see if a mechanic is a good one or not which is if the mechanic would treat my vehicle as if it were his/hers and I think Ryan definitely outdid. read more
