This place is pretty casual with lots of loud clubbing bops - probably not the best place to have conversations unless you're OK losing your voice at the end of the night. The party I went with seemed to enjoy the drinks here. We got a few platters of "Truffle Fries" ($12 for a small basket) to share amongst our group. Overall, the fries were not worth it. They came out hot and fresh with a strong whiff of truffle oil, but sadly, they did not taste as good as they smelled. For most of the fries, they just taste like regular fries. They were crispy and flavorful but it's just not worth $12. Also, they skimped out on how much ketchup they give out. Overall, good clubby bar vibes with a few pool tables in the back. People seemed to have a good time here. I'd probably try other foods next time if I come back, but everything here is overpriced and a tourist trap. read more

Came here with BayGirlsEat on Instagram and I have to say this is a very chill restaurant about a block away from Ktown. There is a wide variety of food choices ranging from the Philly American cheeseburger to the Japanese chicken katsu dish. The menu is very diverse and comes with a good amount of main dishes and appetizers blending two very different food groups I used to hang with which gave me a bit of nostalgia. Starting with the drinks the bourbon palmer had a wonderful but light sweet taste. It's delivered with a bubble of gas that would *up* the atmosphere before upping the atmosphere with its delicious intoxicating taste. Then came the lavender collins, presenting itself with petals of lavender fused to a tall tower of ice sitting in the cup. It is extremely decorative and almost guilty feeling to have to drink this work of art but it must be done. At last came the food... The onion rings are a must, coming with bbq sauce and truffle sauce. Deep fried and stacked as a tall tower, this is hands down the best onion rings I've ever had in my life (and that's saying a lot because I've had many, lol). I am amazed these onion rings can leave me actually desiring onion rings but I know it must be these onion rings I must have if I want to taste that flavor again. The chicken katsu, was extremely delicious as I ate every slice with my chopsticks. This katsu stands out, being layered with delicious sauces, it leaves a mouth-watering flavor for every bite. The sweet and soy mandoo dumpings is for sure going to be better than dumplings you get most places, as this is as well, layered a fair amount with mouth-watering delicious sauce. You may be finding yourself fighting over who is getting that last piece. And the bulgogi fries which are more than just your standard cheese fries. These fries are a side but does not require a hamburger to make it whole. This flavorful fried dish stands out all on its own. Last but not least, the lemon cream shrimp. This shrimp was especially satisfying since eating breaded shrimp usually comes with the idea of it being very dry. This one is not, being fused with delicious cream and oil to really bring out the watering taste as seafood should have. I would highly recommend this spot, especially due to a very upkept billiards hall being right behind the tables. What's food without activities after? read more

It does get loud (from the music and people) so we left the pool area shortly after it got crowded. They also run Happy Hour specials Sun - Thurs on pool from 4-6. Food was decent, but the drinks here are AMAZING. Tried a frozen pina colada & lavender collins and they were both pretty and tasty! Their drink menu is pretty expansive and everything looks so good!
