If I could give zero stars - I would. The lack of accountability and lies by the owner of this gym should alarm any customer. WHEN A BUSINESS STEALS YOUR MONEY, AND DOESN'T PROVIDE SERVICES - ITS CALLED THEFT. I NEVER GAVE PERMISSION FOR THE GYM TO KEEP OR MOVE FORWARD A 1000 BALANCE OF MY MONEY (NOT THEIRS) - MY AVERAGE USAGE WAS 285 OR 335/Month Owner lied to my face on 12/1 when she said "she would take care of it if they had billed me too much- Ken was a witness when she said it. Today, my personal trainer Ken Mills said that "you are on your own" (100% his exact words) with Anytime Fitness' billing. And he's correct. Furthermore yesterday, the owner told me that if they had been overbilling me - she'd "issue a refund" (her exact words) if that was the case. TURNS OUT...yes...they had approximately 28 sessions...about 1080 banked...for no good reason. And turns out 2 days later - she was not willing to give me a partial refund and was just going to stop billing me for 3 months. Which wasn't what she said 2 days earlier. What a joke. When I first joined the gym in 2022 the previous owner screwed up my billing - we got it fixed, my personal trainer Ken Mills said he would make sure it doesn't happen again until its been happening again and again and again Since they won't keep track of any of this - from the moment you step in that door - you better keep track of every transaction. Ken stands up for the new owner's bad customer service and billing, yet would tell you with a straight face that I was his best customer. Didn't lift a finger. Thinks the gym should be able to just keep your money as they see fit. Your takeaway, if you should work out here is, you are 100% on your own even if you pay for a personal trainer. Keep this place on a super short leash. Don't let them have access to auto bill you monthly. The money goes to the local owner's account, according to Anytime Fitness. Not corporate. Which totally explains why the new owner said one thing but 2 days later - nope! Its all shady. Simply another gym with shady people doing shady things to make sure that they maximize the amount of money they could humanly rip you off - for. Please, share and enjoy! read more

New owners that came in really cheaped out on the place. AC must be set at 79. No cable on the treadmills. Bathroom toilets don't flush. Only Anytime I ever been hot at. If they couldn't afford, perhaps they shouldn't have bought. Have to give a star! You can't post if you don't! read more

This is the absolute best gym. It has the feel of an apartment gym and a super chill atmosphere. Weights and machines are always available. Jeff is a great owner. He really cares about your individual well being and has a couple of trainers who rock! I personally work out with Eric and he has drastically changed my health and body type. It's great that they have a body scan on site too. It's included and it really helps to track progress. It really is a little neighborhood gym where everyone is helpful and encouraging. Also, the guys who work at the gym are very respectful and treat everyone equally. It's just a great place to get some cardio or some lifting. And try a round with a personal trainer. Just recently joined this gym and I am really impressed. The cost is very reasonable, and they have all the equipment that I need. I like the rower because that is what my job uses to conduct our fitness tests. There are plenty of cardio machines of all types, so I never have to wait on a treadmill, eliptical or bike. There is a free weight area and a good selection of weight machines as well. The staff is very friendly and they greet you as you enter and make you feel welcome. They offer fitnessr training seevices, but they aren't pushy about it. If you are interested, just let them know. The 24 hour access is also nice, since it accomodates any schedule. It's a nice relaxed place to get your workout done. The other members have been courteous and there isnt the feeling of competitiveness, that other gyms sometimes have. This was the first gym I've ever been a member of and its been a great experience so far. The owner Steve is a nice guy and very helpful if you have a question. They have several trainers which is nice if you are looking for that. We like the idea you can go at anytime to workout. They have great equipment. I have enjoyed the Elliptical , bikes and rower. They have several treadmills, ellipticals and bikes. Never have a problem getting on a machine. The weight machines are nice too. They have everything you need for your workout needs. Excellent facility. I selected this location on Lakeline Blvd, even though I live in Leander, because I wanted to work with a personal trainer that had a lot of experience. At 53, I had some arthritis in my lower back and some osteopenia in one of my hips. It was time to do something about it before it was too late. I knew it wasn't going to get any easier, that's for sure. My goal was to get stronger, increase my energy level and overall wellness. I got so much more than I expected. My trainer, Jeff Vatow, has quite literally helped me transform my body and the way I see fitness now. After 6 months, I was down 16 lbs and 6.6% body fat. At one year, I was down a total of 25 lbs and 9% body fat. The weight training is hard but worth it and Jeff somehow manages to makes it fun. He strikes the perfect balance b/w professionalism, humor and encouragement. He knows when to push me and when it's time to push myself even harder. My lower back no longer aches and I feel good in my own skin for the first time in years. The gym is always clean, plenty of high quality equipment and there's almost always other trainers there if you need assistance and if they aren't there, they can be reached via cell phone. On occasion, I have worked with the other trainers and they've all been great. Naturally, I'm partial to Jeff but Eric is also terrific. Highly recommend. read more

I gave this place a year after having spent over 10 years at Golds. I thought a smaller gym would be refreshing. It started out okay, but recently has just gone downhill. The equipment is old and not maintained. The elipticals are all run down and do not work properly. The aux connections on most of the treadmills do not work. The gym, while once kept pretty clean is now usually dirty and dusty. The wipee buckets are often empty and the handle on the women's toilet has been broken off for weeks. Complete lack of customer service, never greets you when you walk in and never asked how you are doing. When I told the manager about all of this his response was as follows: The elipticals have not been maintained because apparently when they added a new machine there were complaints and people preferred the old broken ones. Huh? No response about the aux connections. The handle on the toilet. First he claims he fixed it and then it got broke again so he didn't bother? But then later says he forgot. He disagreed about the cleanliness. I let him know I would be posting this review and he just said that one bad review won't hurt him. This lack of customer service and care is another reason I chose to move on. Just poor management and a lack of care for his job and the gym. read more

It has a decent selection of weights and machines. They are in pretty good shape and the gym, despite being small, never seems very crowded. Unfortunately the cardio machines are another story. The ellipticals and the treadmills are in pretty poor shape. Most of the ellipticals seems to have an annoying click that tells me they are about worn out. I know they are expensive machines but I think management needs to start slowly replacing them. There are two Anytimes that are a little bit further away but I usually make the drive when I have time because of the condition of the cardio machines. read more

I joined this gym this past May and it is by far the best gym and the best value in the area for the following reasons: Monthly rate is competitive and reasonable. 24/7 access accommodates even the busiest of schedules. Equipment is top-of-the line and well maintained. Never have had to wait to get on a cardio machine or weights. Cardio machines have an IPOD direct connection. Always very clean from the bathrooms to the machines and there is never a lack of disinfectant wipes to wipe down machines before or after you use them. Staff is friendly and genuinely helpful. Personal Training is available but they are never pushy. Tanning is available for a great rate and you have access 24/7 as well. Your gym co-members are courteous and friendly. If you are looking for a gym and want a welcoming, friendly atmosphere with all you need for a great workout in one place this is the one to join. read more

Shouldn't even give them one star. They take the entire parking lot of a very busy strip mall where parking is already limited, to workout on the concrete. They have a facility and I don't understand why they have the need to put people in a bind. There are other businesses that need these parking spaces. Dry Cleaners, Barber Shop, Veterinary Clinic, Post Net. I am appalled at the entitlement these people have. Please remove your cones. No one wants to see you working out or trying to show off. This is by far the best gym in and around NW Austin/Cedar Park. I'm impressed by the willingness of the staff to make you feel comfortable and educate you on what it takes to get maximum results. I have never been to a gym that is so willing share tips about working out and genuinely happy to see us everytime we arrive. No wait on machines and we are never uncomfortable with the clientele, more upscale in my opinion than other "meathead" gyms. If you are into getting fit and fabulous - this is the place. The personal training dept charged me 728 without authorization. Someone took my credit card from my monthly billing and manually charged 728. I left several mesaages and no return calls. I was contacted by the owner regarding their cancellation policy last month and it appears that it may have since been updated. That was my biggest issue with Anytime Fitness. Even though that was three years later, at least it has been changed. "One of the items I want you to know of is our cancellation policy. Good equipment, but the girl to guy ratio is terrible. I HATE bringing my girlfriend there (we like to work out together) because the second I leave her side she is gawked at obsessively by all of the guys there making working out there an uncomfortable experience. Mgmt needs to do something to even out the ratio (not that I am looking to meet other girls there, but maybe if the guys there had at least one or two girls to look at, she wouldn't feel so uncomfortable). I've been using this gym for several years now. I'm not intimidated at all to work out at this gym. I'm over 60 and feel safe and comfortable. This is not like the larger gyms where you have individuals who constantly pose and hog machines. The staff is very helpful, it's always clean and the folks that go there are friendly. I've been a member of this gym for over 2 years and I couldn't be happier. I would consider myself a regular going 5 days a week and I can honestly say I have rarely ever waited for any machine. The people that go to this gym are extremely courteous and welcoming. Never have I gotten judge mental looks or been laughed at for failing to do a lift. What I have experienced however is several friendly and useful tips from management and the trainers employed there. Gym is very well kept from not having any trash on floors or in bathrooms and have never gotten an infection such as staff at this gym because everyone wipes down their machine after usage. I've always thought that personal training would be really expensive, however it is really reasonable at this location. I've always been skeptical about training, however i'm glad i started.
