I was on my way from LA to palo alto on the day before X-mas and stopped by here to have a workout session with my brother who lives very close to the gym. First and foremost, the manager Sergio was very friendly, welcoming and allowed me a complimentary workout session with my brother ( he is a member here)-THANK YOU, SERGIO. This a cute little gym with almost everything you need for a great workout and they have a beautiful cardio room as well. It got little crowded around noon for an hour due to holidays but, everyone seems to know each other and friendly. Bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. I hate to part from this gym after almost a year because everything was always so clean and maintained, when a machine broke it never took longer than 72 hours to see it back up and running. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and I truly mean they remember almost everyone they sign up and help out when they can. They can be quite busy because there seems to only be 3 of them but man they are AMAZING trainers. I truly gotta give the gym manager Sergio major props for not just hiring amazing trainers but for hiring the best of the best, they have knowledge in all kinds of training regiments to not only make sure you meet your goals, but also create a lifestyle of being healthy that can be really enjoyable. Of all the time I went 3-4 times a week it was always clean, smelling good, and feeling good. I can't even think of a day that I didn't have a good workout because the equipment being nasty/not working. Everything was always at tiptop shape and the staff had awesome challenges to do to keep the workouts from being stale. Everyday was always a good day at the gym and I wish I can stay longer but sadly I moved and I wish I could stay longer but I had to part ways. I LOVE this gym! A member for two years, this club brought post-pandemic sanity to my life again! There is so much equipment available that one can get a fantastic workout! Plenty of weight machines, dumbbells/barbells, cable weight machines, Smith machine, Booty Blaster. Work your core on the multiple TRX, hit the punching bags, take a Boxing Class, or take a group class. Want cardio - stairclimber, eliptical, recumbent bike, and the dreadmill, I mean treadmill. Plenty of space to lay down and stretch. The gym is kept so clean and organized due to the hard working staff. The restrooms/showers are clean. Clients are diligent about cleaning machines after themselves. It's busy but never overcrowded, and it's really Anytime of day. Want to train with a pro? There are several trainers available, each with years of experience and a different approach to fitness. They have group classes and individual training, tailored to your fitness goals. They are always available to help spot, or answer a question on machine use or exercise performance. The trainer I work with is Sergio Gonzales, whom I have worked with for over 6 years. Sergio has helped me keep my sanity through tough times by challenging me to push through limitations via working out. Sergio has a wealth of experience from a life-long love of exercising the body and mind. My husband had a stroke that affected his right side and balance. Sergio has worked so hard with him, both at home while he was bed bound, to bringing him into the gym to help him begin standing and moving , enabling him to go from being in a wheelchair to now walking with a cane (and as of this writing it's only been 8 months since the stroke). This improvement thrills my husband and I, his OT/PT therapists, and especially his doctors! Sergio takes what is taught in these situations and tailors a session to the persons needs/abilities. Would give 0 stars if able to. The gym membership started off great until I wanted to cancel my month to month contract. I had to call the owner (Alex) and visit the location several times and was never provided cancellation forms even after requesting. I moved 8 hours away and then Alex stopped returning my calls. The payments kept coming in even after my request to cancel. I ended up "owing" $300 in fees which anytime fitness had a debt collection company tell me i owed. It was truly unacceptable. I do not and will never recommend this gym location to anyone. read more

Sergio was great! He let me try out the hydromassage bed and showed me the Evolt 360 lean muscle mass/body fat scanner. There is a protein snack and drink vending machine, the equipment is newer and in good condition, clean, and the facility is well maintained. Why is it so hard to cancel membership. We have been trying to cancel membership even before the Pandemic hit. My son has been paying $35.00 monthly on autopay and has not used the facility for over 2 yrs due to illness! You can check his card scanner, he has not used it for over 2 yrs. He's been calling and left a message so he can make an appointment to cancel his membership no call back! Emailed the assistant manager still no reply! He has spent $420.00 a year times 2 $840.00 with his hard earned money and unfortunately his bank cannot stop payment. He has to go thru ANYTIME FITNESS! How sad that people can do that basically stealing money from others. read more

I used to not like coming to this anytime fitness before but honestly this place has really been improving and changing things to make the club better. They added new flooring and new machines and I know they'll be adding new lighting and fixing up the restrooms soon. The staff is all friendly and helpful and they really make you feel like Family. DONT RECOMMEND! I literally got scammed into this place, the owner told me I can cancel anytime, I went to go cancel my membership and he told me I have to wait 1 year! They are also charging me fees for things I wasn't informed about, when signing up HE personally read all of the things I signed I was never giving the contract for me to look over first, never once did he read this is a 1 year long membership with no cancellation! Fraud alert! Watch your account! Fraud stealing from members! I have a 6 month freeze on my account since January 2021 .... in March they decided to start charging my account again without authorization. I got a call back and the manager was completely rude and said the gym has been open since March and they started charging again ..... however since my account was frozen until July 2021 I should not be charged and should refunded they money immediately. He would only return me 2 months .That is not acceptable I should be refunded all the months that was charged during time my account was frozen. This will be reported as fraud to my bank! When I was researching gyms 8 yrs ago, Oxnard Anytime Fitness was my final choice. This facility has always been clean and well managed. I have always had a good experience with the trainers and all staff members. I am 80 years old and I workout with Sergio 3 times a week. He is always available and always returns my calls. The gym has been recently refurbished with new flooring and adding new equipment. The equipment has always been repaired when needed. You are always made to feel welcome. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't freakin go here, when signing up for a contract just think of it as buying a new car and the manager is the dealer. I got played big time, I signed up for the "platinum" membership which includes a body scan that u can get for free at nutrishop and a hydro massage chair that requires a code but they don't bother to tell you the code and when they do the code didn't work. I never wanted to sign up for a year I told the manager I need something temporary yet he bamboozled me into doing automatic payments from what I was aware it was recurring every 2 weeks, along with some secret service fees he failed to tell me about but they're hidden in the contract. Now I'm stuck in this year contract that i never knew I was locked into. I used to be happy here from 2016-2019 but 2022 this place is the WORST they don't answer emails or phone calls that they always have some kind of excuse this gym unlike many others I've been to is very unprofessional. read more

This gym was something else. I only joined because at the time there was no other gym opened 24 hours. But oh do I regret it. First of all, it is in need of some deep cleaning. The place smells! The restrooms are dirty I would rather just hold it until I get home. Their customer service is lacking. I switched to 24 hr fitness at the collection and it's soooo much better and a whole lot cheaper too! No initiation fee! One last thing. I was informed by an employee that my last charge would be last month and I still got charged this month. I have emailed her twice now and have yet to get this resolved. Visited their gym today used the bathroom and shower. 2 hours later the "manager" called me telling me she "checked" the cameras and I left a huge mess in the bathroom and she had to clean it up. Also if I wanted to be able to use their gym again I need to clean up. First off, you need to check your cameras better and get your facts straight before you have the balls to call someone accusing of making a mess. I walked into that restroom and saw the trash all over the floor, the mirror that was just laying there. So I used the restroom next to it. Horrible judgement call on this "manager" and maybe it would be best to have someone else above her before she continues to make a joke of their location. read more

This is a corporate facility and, in my experience, these are nicer than the franchises. It is convenient that these facilities are multiplying like rabbits. The showers are tiled with stone and an absolute dream. There is nary a person that wipes down a machine and they do not currently sell beverages. LOVE THIS PLACE! My boyfriend and I got guest passes and on our 1st day Matt showed us around..super polite, wasn't trying to sell us anything. Only gym i've been to that doesn't smell like BO. Everyone here is genuine especially the staff. The restrooms are the best part, so neat! We also lost our house/car keys in here and right away Matt and 3 trainers helped us look for them outside, in the restroom, literally EVERYWHERE until they found them through the cameras. I love how close this gym is to my house and the 24 hour option is great! Staff is friendly though office hours seem inconsistent. Gym members are also friendly and respectful. There have been times I've wanted to see bathrooms a little cleaner but generally they are well maintained. Recently I have had issues with equipment maintenance. The gym has two elliptical style AMT machines which I base my workouts on. One has been wobbling since I joined the gym half a year ago and the other has been broken (no resistance) for at least a month. I've spoken to two different staff members multiple times about the issue but I am not clear when the repair will be made. It seems to be an issue of funds being available for an outside repair. Also, in the last week I've had issues with getting on to the WiFi network. I'm hoping this will all be resolved soon as I would like to continue making this gym my workout spot long term! read more
