No hot water issue, terrible service and Theft of funds! 8/25/26, at 10 am, Anytime Rooter Field team arrived and diagnosed an issue. Tech said payment was due upfront prior to work. As soon as receiving payment he left saying he would be back shortly. He did not ever return, but another tech Did 12 hours later at 945 pm! The tech Could not fix issue as he did not come with any parts. Office staff were contacted from 12pm to 930 pm asking for updates. The office team knew nothing and could not issue a refund. We ask for a manager repeatedly and got the run around. They had our money and did not care. The night time tech said he would get us the part first thing in morning. 8/26/26, No calls from Anytime Rooter, and no show. We contacted office staff again who gave us the run around, they did not know when part or tech could come back. We still have no hot water, are out the cash and no accountability or help from any of the Anytime Rooter team. These people are crooks. read more

Based on what we experienced, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using this company be extremely cautious, especially before providing your credit card information. Our experience has been frustrating from beginning to end. We were charged for services that, in our view, were not provided as expected or authorized as we understood them. We have been trying repeatedly to get our money refunded, but despite multiple phone calls, we still have not received a satisfactory resolution. What makes the situation even worse is the customer service. We have called this company multiple times asking for information about our refund. Almost every time, we hear essentially the same response: "We don't have any information. We will pass your message to a supervisor, and someone will contact you with an update." But then nobody calls. We wait, receive no update, and have to call again ourselves. Then we hear the same explanation all over again. This has happened repeatedly. At some point, a customer should not have to keep chasing a company just to get a clear answer about money that has already been charged to their credit card. Extremely Poor Communication In my experience, there has been a serious lack of communication and accountability. If the person answering the phone cannot resolve the issue, then a supervisor or manager should contact the customer promptly. Simply saying that a message has been forwarded and then never following up is unacceptable customer service. We have spent our own time repeatedly calling and explaining the same situation. Instead of receiving a clear explanation, refund status, or resolution date, we continue to get excuses and promises of callbacks that do not happen. Be Careful With Your Credit Card Information My biggest advice to potential customers is this: Please be extremely careful before giving this company your credit card information. Make sure you clearly understand what you are authorizing, how much you will be charged, what services you will receive, and what the cancellation/refund policy is. I would also recommend getting everything in writing before allowing any charge. Based on our experience, once there was a dispute regarding the charge, getting the money refunded became extremely difficult and time-consuming. A reputable company should be able to explain a charge clearly, provide documentation showing what was authorized, and promptly investigate a disputed charge. A customer should not have to make call after call just to get someone to take responsibility. Very Disappointing Customer Service I also found some of the interactions with staff to be rude and dismissive. Rather than making us feel that they genuinely wanted to solve the problem, we were left feeling that collecting money was more important than taking care of the customer. When a customer is calling about money that they believe was charged improperly, that concern should be taken seriously. Instead, we repeatedly received responses that there was no information available and that someone else would contact us later. Then nobody contacted us. That is not acceptable. I Don't Understand the High Rating After going through this experience, I am genuinely surprised to see such a high Google rating for this company. Our experience certainly does not reflect the level of service I would expect from a highly rated business. Of course, other customers may have had different experiences, but I can only describe what happened to us. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company. I tried this place bc of the Google reviews. Only now did I see the Yelp reviews and apparently I should have saved myself the trouble. Anyways I made appointments 2 times for sewer inspections. Both times they gave me a 4 hour window and then proceeded to run over it. The 2nd time was egregious: they told me 1-5pm. I called every hr after 5pm for an updated ETA. They said they were coming each time. Then finally I call again around 9pm and they said they are still running over and will have to do it tmrw morning. Something is really wrong with the way they operate when they go 4 hours past a 4 hr window and dont even have the curtesy to call a customer to tell them. The other company charge only $1500. So that high estimate did not work,. When I called just to come and have estimate it is $125.... The plumber charged me $125 + 4% debit card processing fee $5.00. $130.00 only....but I was charged $161.00. Their window of appointment from 12 to 4Pm. They came in late at 4Pm. We waited the whole afternoon and cannot leave the house. The receptionist was extremely rude when I called 8:45 am. July 23, 2026. The management should not tolerate this kind of bad customer behaviour. 30 minutes later I called again. I asked and said 4% of Processing fee is only $5.00. We are having a horrible experience with this Company. My Sister, who is 84 years old called them because they showed up on Google close to the top. My Sister does not understand anything about sponsored ads. She had a leaky faucet in her bathtub. They proposed cutting into the wall all kinds of things. They had her sign an agreement and charged her upfront for the work to be done. My other Sister, as soon as we found out, contacted them and told them that we wanted to get a second bid before proceeding. We ultimately called another plumber, who fixed the problem for much much less money. We dealt with Torrence as the plumber and he seemed to have the authority to help us. But alas, he does not have that authority. We have sent an email recently trying to recoup some of the money that my Sister has spent, but they are non non responsive. Stay away from this Company! These guys are a big scam. We got connected to them accidentally because I think they bought out another business. they are F on better business bureau and are not accredited. We had a leak coming through our ceiling and were desperate for someone to take a look at it. We should have gotten multiple quotes but we needed it fixed. They couldn't find the initial leak, and when we called them back after taking out the drywall they slapped us with an exorbitant fee to fix. They said it was going to take "two guys" and it seemed like it was going to take hours. Not the case. Two guys did come over but one was clearly a trainee and didn't need to be there. They fixed everything in an hour, it was an unreal amount of money for such an easy job.Talking to other folks in the industry they could have done this at a fraction of the cost. They also promised us a report with pictures an an itemized invoice so we could see why it was so much money, but they just wrote an overview of things on the invoice. It seemed very unprofessional and predatory. I will say for them, the leak has been fixed and seems to be holding up, so at least we got things corrected, but I will definitely not use them again and do not recommend this business. read more

I would avoid using Anywhere Rooter in Boulder. They left my place a mess and with holes in my ceilings where they repaired a leak. The leak was repaired and I was told they would patch the drywall but that they didn't do painting. I agreed as that made sense. Once the crew completed the job and left I tried to schedule the drywall with the person I worked with to quote me on the job and he disappeared, will not reply. I tried the office and was told someone would call me back, and nobody called. I then called again and was talked down to by the woman who answered the phone and claimed to be the manager. I just said 'f off' and hung up. They left debris from the ceiling all over the bathroom and laundry room. They cleaned one hallway and bedroom entry with our vacuum. They showed up two hours late to do the work as well. I tried to talk with them to try and understand why I was told they would clean up/patch the drywall but didn't and was met with horrible attitude. Spare yourself, go to another plumber for your needs in Boulder. $2700 to fix a leak in the ceiling should come with professional work. Ps. I've never left a review of any kind, anywhere, until now. We had a horrible experience with Anywhere Rooters. We had a sewage gas smell in our brand new house and called them to check it out. On the first visit they claimed it was a wax seal in one of the toilets which they charged us $300+ for only to have the smell continue to be an issue afterwards. We called them back and they sent someone else out who said we needed to get the pipes hydro-jetted and it could cost $1500 dollars. At this point we did not trust them at all and called another plumber who came by and found the issue in 10 minutes (the builder installed a vent pipe improperly) and charged us $100. We could have been out 2k for our problem to not be fixed so we would not recommend them at all! read more

Not a good company/extremely poor customer service. We had a clogged kitchen sink drain that we tried to clear with a 25' auger to no avail. I contacted Lakewood Plumbing Experts (5 stars on Google), they forwarded my call to 'local' plumber Anywhere Rooter. Anywhere Rooter plumbers showed later in the day and tried a 65' auger to no avail. They suggested hydro-jetting at $1350 which was to include a post-service pipe video and all service charges, taxes, etc. Though I thought it pricey, I was fine at this point and agreed to the charges since I was leasing and wanted to send the video to the homeowner. The line was cleared and they ran the camera so I gave them contact info and a check. Check was cashed next day, but neither I nor the homeowner received an invoice or video so I reached out to their company. They forwarded me an invoice which mis-spelled my name and only listed Hydro-jetting @ $1350 with no further detail. I emailed back asking for the correction and a breakout or at least a re-hashing of the situation and the services provided so I could provide it to the homeowner for reimbursement. One week later, I called - said they'd do it - did not. Two and three weeks later, same, but with increasing hostility from customer service. On the last call they said they'd provide the video taken for an additional $250 though the plumbers said it was included. I told them that was ridiculous and that this was not the way to gain follow-up service requests or endorsements - they stated that they were OK with that. The plumbers seemed to have done a decent job, but pricing was high for the services that were provided and customer service was beyond poor. I'm negotiating with the homeowner for partial reimbursement. Look elsewhere for your plumbing needs. read more

When they responded, my wife was home, and they quoted a price verbally of $5,200 to cut out a portion of the pipe and reinstall it. When they completed the work, they demanded $7,200, and the service rep insisted that my wife give them positive feedback immediately. My wife repeatedly asked for an itemized receipt, but they have not provided one. I called them today, and the person on the line was uncooperative and stated multiple lies, like they had tried repeatedly to contact my wife, which they had not. My wife and I are seniors, and they obviously took advantage of my wife and essentially extorted $2,000 extra from her for the work, which should have cost no more than $3,000 in total. It was an emergency, which we acknowledge will cost more, but this is extreme! I am over 70, and my wife is older as well. If I were available at the time, I would have raised several questions. We believe that this company deliberately took advantage of our age for nefarious gain. We now believe that they broke the law in this matter, and we will seek relief in any way possible. Be advised! The prices we were quoted were around $1000 less than what were charged to our credit card. when asked for invoices with charges explained they were not provided I was told $400 was the charge for using a credit card. Requested that these guys come out and looks at a clogged toilet. Sent them home, but like a spirit, after you invite them in they linger. Went with someone else who did the whole job for $95 bucks with flat rates online and no nonsense. TLDR: They tried to charge me through the moon ($1,800) and didn't leave my house after being asked to leave over the course of 2 hours. They charged me $125 to come out (which they didn't disclose up front) despite the guy "having new information" to try and convince me to give them money. The longer story. The "Plumber" with his 5 years of experience came up with four different levels of progressively cheaper option based on "new information" after I specifically asked him to leave. The first, " You have to hydrojet the mainline and it'll be $1800 and I'm giving you a discount because our older guys would charge you $2,200 or $2,300". For the record you can get a flat rate quote for $695 for that work, I also mentioned this to him. I then told him that we weren't going to do that work and would be getting another quote. He then DIDN'T LEAVE MY HOUSE and proceeded to do things there. He calls and tells me he has new information and that it would be $1525 because he will only need to hydrojet around the toilet area because everything else is draining. Making things up that couldn't be possible given the maintenance history of the system. Following that, he tells me they won't auger the toilet because the company has a policy against it but instead, he'll take the toilet off and try and see if he can shake it out. That would only cost me $300, but that doesn't typically work, so it'll be an extra 600 to replace the toilet. Speaking with his supervisor was just as bad, same tactics, "Augering toilets leads to confrontations with customers, so we don't do it". All of this, after he said he hadn't even tried to plunge the clog... Overall, worst company I've ever had come out to my house. Hostile tactics and pricing. Anyway because this was an emergency I wanted to get this fixed right away for not only myself but for my neighbors, this so called plumbing company came out, "fixed the problem" and charged me almost $3k for the repairs and services. Which i thought was too expensive! They even charged me $130 to run my credit card! What a crock of bullshit! But whatever got it supposedly taken care of. Took a shower a few days later and the water leak was not fixed! So I called the company back, asking them to come back at NO COST to repair the leak they failed to fix in the first place and the best they could offer me was a 15% off deal which they quoted me $2k more to fix!? They promised the fee would be credited if I hired them. This was a scam. The technician performed ZERO actual service or diagnosis--he didn't even touch the water heater. Instead, he instantly handed me an outrageous, fraudulent quote of nearly $6,000.00 for a replacement. I immediately checked local rates: reputable plumbers quoted the EXACT SAME JOB for only $3,000 to $3,500. Anywhere Rooter's quote was DOUBLE THE MARKET RATE! This wasn't a quote; it was DECEPTIVE PRICING designed to nullify the promised credit and fleece a desperate customer. The technician even exposed their incompetence by mentioning an "attic inspection" when my house has NO attic. When I contacted them twice to demand accountability and a refund for the $265.15 fee (for a service that was never performed), I was STONESWALLED. That phone call was the first and last positive experience we had with this company. They proceeded to no-show not once, but twice, for two separate 4-hour appointment windows. That's eight hours of sitting at home waiting for absolutely nothing. I don't even have an issue with this at first because I realize stuff happens. It was the lack of customer service that came next that really frustrated me. The day after they were originally supposed to come, I finally got a call around 1pm informing me -- with zero hesitation -- that the inspection would actually cost over $300. None of their 3 employees that visited my house were actual plumbers. All 3 employees verbalized a "I just work here" attitude when questioned on their high prices and unsatisfactory work results. It all started with a leak in back of my house. They replaced a mixer valve and bathtub faucet. Next day no hot water in the tub but all other faucets had it. They canceled the next day appointment. The techs came out the following day, made an adjustment to the faucet and turned the hot water heater up ( which wasn't ever a problem) They told me to expect the heating elements to go out. maybe because the high temperature they set it at is harder on the elements?
