I had a chance to explore the lobby, reception area, game, pool table, two spacious multipurpose rooms and a lively indoor fitness area. Vendors, city employees were a enthusiastic in welcoming all who came to check this new addition. This 11,000 foot structure is brand new and officially opens tomorrow. Yesterday people of all ages, kids, parents and seniors were playing pool, crafts doing crafts in the multi purpose rooms and pickle ball was being enjoyed in the fitness room. I was told that kickboxing and yoga classes will be in this room in the future. A senior center comes to my mind when I'm told that people of the age of 55+ are welcomed M-F 8-5 pm and other hours will be open to programs for all ages. This is a benefit for the city of Chandler. The growing population of the older generation calls for more facilities than the Senior Center in downtown Chandler. It is nice to see the city respond to this!

Staff is always super chill and helped give us a rough intro and learn how to fall, rent the right shoes, and get chalked. Really pretty nice and empty around 12pm weekdays (might change when kiddos are out for summer). Already met some other cool climbers too! They also have a spray wall, hang boards, and you can buy fun lil drinks/snacks. Tons of sitting area and i plan to come back a lot this summer and maybe even send a monthly membership. Thanks Alta!

They offer 3 free sessions, but I only needed needed one to convince myself that full body EMS is very beneficial to someone like me! I ended up purchasing an Ohm at home suit, which is very easy to operate, via the Ohm fitness at home app. I have a lot of muscle atrophy from my stroke and EMS really gets the blood flowing to these muscles. It's been about 2 months of workouts and there are signs of progress. I highly recommend Ohm Fitness to Seniors and especially those that have disabilities. You are not lifting heavy weight , but you do have to do the work. You could do almost nothing, but your improvements will take longer. If you choose the Red Mountain location, you will find a well organized site, staffed with very helpful and friendly people, along with knowledgeable instructors.

They are very helpful and make sure you're doing the exercises correctly. They also change it up all the time so that you're not bored or doing the same thing over and over. It's a good HIIT workout, and I always burn at least 300 calories in the 40 minutes of exercise, which is great by my standards. I would have given this place 5 stars, but then something happened (I thought about 3 stars but thats not fair to the rest of the employees). Toward the end of my 2 week trial, I took a look at my finances and even with the discount, it just wasn't doable. This place is expensive (more than other HIIT gyms Ive been to in the past) and being that I am not rich, I just can't make it work with upcoming bills, car repairs and everything else I have going on. When I called and spoke to Sunny, I explained to her that I unfortunately needed to cancel for now. She asked for any feedback for the program and I told her LOVE the classes, but I just can't afford it. She then said, in an incredibly rude tone, "did you know that before you signed up to take our free classes or did you just figure that out now?" Honestly I was shocked. It was so rude, it really hurt my feelings and it felt like she was accusing me of being a scammer or something. I would hate for anyone else to feel this way should they have to cancel. Also because of this I will not ever return, even if I could afford it. It was unbelievably rude. I shouldn't be made to feel bad for giving something a shot and just not being able to afford it. Guess I should have lied and said I hated it or something.
