Relatively new location so all the equipment is new and clean. The staff doesn't just check you in they usually have a quick conversation with you and always say bye on your way out. The water from the fountain is nice and cold (doesn't taste like tap water). I have zero complaints if you're looking for an eos in the east valley I like this one compared to other locations! read more

Worst gym experience ever! My 15 year old daughter went to be a guest with a friend and came home with a membership. On top of that, we were getting billed for her friend who was somehow added on as an associated member. I called to explain the situation and had to speak with multiple people. Ultimately the home club which was selected at the wrong location, since my minor daughter who's not legally allowed to sign such a contract, received no help through the process. Then I visited the home club location and was told I had to cancel online, which I just did. Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish and glad to be done with them! read more

Avoid this EOS location unless you want to be misled and stuck with surprise fees. I stopped in because I wanted to try the gym and compare it to Mountainside. I asked specifically for a trial pass. Instead, the sales rep signed me up as a full member and assured me I had 14 days to cancel without being charged the annual membership fee. Based on what I was told, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it out. On day 13, I walked in to cancel since it just wasn't going to work for me or my wife. That's when they told me I would be charged the $90 annual fee plus one full month, because cancellation supposedly requires 30 days notice. How exactly am I supposed to give 30 days notice when I had only been a member for 13? I asked for a manager, who basically shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. She even asked if I had tried the 3-day trial pass -- the same trial pass I originally asked for and was told didn't exist! So now I'm being charged an annual fee and a month of membership for a gym I only went to because I was misled by their sales staff. The whole experience felt dishonest and manipulative, and they absolutely refused to make it right. Be extremely careful before signing anything here. Don't trust what the sales reps tell you -- get everything in writing. I wish I never walked in the door. read more

Very scrupulous sales team. We stopped by to see about their silver sneakers program which essentially is a free membership that allows you access to the facility in a limited capacity without any instruction. We were then introduced to a sales specialist who wanted to sell us a membership that included one on one training. When we asked for a free trial for a couple days we were told that we could get a couple free days but we needed to sign up for a 3 month membership at 280 dollars every two weeks to unlock the free trial, but we could cancel within 3 days no questions asked. We decided the next day it wasn't for us. When we stopped in we were told not to worry that they would take care of the cancellation and call us later that day to confirm. Three texts later trying to convince us to reconsider the salesperson relented and said that they would handle the cancellation. That night I received a email stating that I would be getting biweekly charges of 280 dollars. The next morning I was informed that I had to come in and personally cancel my membership because he couldn't get it done without me. I went there and he pulled up his screen and after a couple minutes stated that I had been successfully canceled. However there was nothing he could give me in writing. I asked to take a screenshot of his monitor and he allowed me to. I then asked why I had to come in at all since I didn't have to sign anything and he said that they wanted him to have another shot at selling me the membership. Two weeks later and they still have not credited my credit card even though I received a email from corporate that my membership is canceled. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. My teenage daughter wanted to cancel her EOS Fitness membership, and while it was difficult to find someone willing to help, Roman Cowails truly went above and beyond. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. His attitude alone made my daughter consider keeping the membership! The overall service at EOS is great, and the gym itself is spacious, clean, and exciting. They even have treadmills where you can watch movies while you run. Such a cool feature! EOS should be VERY proud to have an employee like Roman on their team. I highly recommend this gym to everyone! read more

The gym itself is pretty awesome. It is HUGE, and there are lots of new machines, too! However, they only have thin barbells, which is annoying. The other downfall is the locker room. With all of the available space, there is no place to change or get ready. There is nothing like having 10 grown men crowd around 1 bench to get changed, which makes you not want to get ready there. I am noticing some of the regulars from other locations showing up, but I am not sure if I will make the jump. Don't get me wrong, the place is fantastic. EOS Fitness is by far the worst fitness club I have ever belonged to the same can be said for the business acumen and practices. I recently received an agreement for personal training that I didn't agree to I tried to cancel it and they outright refused to do so on top of which they said I have to do four training sessions before I can try to cancel because I didn't try to cancel 3 day ago which I only got yesterday which I meet with the manager. I originally enjoyed this gym, but I can no longer accept the disrespect and lack of communication. I have been discussing a refund with the staff that has not been resolved since April. Not only have they not refunded my money as discussed and promised by several employees, they also continued to take additional payments for a service that was never used and I was told was canceled. I have attempted communicating with a variety of managers, staff, and through their online system. I have been told several times my refund was approved but nothing has hit my account and additional payments were taken. They took TEN additional $44 payments that I did not agree to between my husband and me. I called in tears because some of these unexpected payments brought my account negative, but they said there was nothing they can do. Money is their priority over customer service. I have been patient and understanding for more than six months! They have not taken any responsibility and I have texts to prove the attempts on my side and false promises on theirs. When I submit the request online, there is no response or acknowledgement of my concerns. I asked a manager, in person, for the GM contact information and they would not provide it. I love this location since it is so close to my home and have been going since Jan 1st. Esteban was the one to signed me up and went over everything with me, he is very thoughtful and understood my fears about going a Fitness Center since I have not gone to a Fitness Center for many, many years and I am in my seventies. He set me up with Thomas who has been my personal trainer and I have been very pleased with his training. He is very understanding of my limitations since I am completely out of shape. I do know about the other trainers or staff but Esteban and Thomas are the best. read more
