    Damaged rain gutter by APES.
    Hammerhead7734 ..

The guy who removed my hot water heater dropped it down a flight of stairs and damaged the walls and my rain gutter. Then laughed about it. Then he left rusty water stains for me to clean up in my house and down driveway. I'm still waiting for them to pay for a new one. Actually , I hope I never see any of those people again. Thanks for your lousy service apes plumbing. Update Ralph is only slow playing me and yet to repair the damages.

    APES repaired water softener
    Alex K.

We had a 1yr old a water softener that needed repaired and had several companies come out to look at it. Everyone insisted on replacing the softer but APES worked with us to find the problem and repair it! They also helped us replace our old reverse osmosis system and fix a bathtub that wasn't getting hot water while they were here. Communication was prompt and responsive with both the main office and our plumber Anthony. Extra points for Anthony being a sweetheart with our 4yr old daughter and an all around stand up guy. Will definitely be using APES in the future and recommend them to others.

Of all the reviews I've written, this review deserves all five stars the most* We just bought a house and were working with our home warranty to try to resolve the issue. As it turns out, service employees who work for home warranty companies don't like to find big issues because they don't get paid that well. I had called about this issue a couple times and paid my $75 for them to leave without having fixed anything. Finally, someone who not only listened but understood what we were talking about. Through a simple inspection, our plumber Jim W was able to diagnose the problems we'd had with our sink, that every other plumber who didn't want to be here or put the work in, purposely brushed off or turned their shoulder on. Unfortunately, a section of our kitchen pipes were bad so we had to have them replaced. Fortunately for us, he took the time to go to battle for us, with our home warranty, so they would cover what they were supposed to cover. He spent hours on the phone and went above and beyond on countless occasions over the course of the whole ordeal. It seemed we kept hitting obstacles, entering from the exterior concrete wall, we still needed to have our counters and cabinets uninstalled from our kitchen, so that they could bulldoze a portion of our kitchen floor in order to access all the piping and ensure they replaced everything that needed to be replaced to avoid any future issues with the pipes. I was impressed that he managed not to break any of our tiled floor, I know he did his best, using precise detail, to avoid more damage (and cost to us). Since, he does not do home restorations, that part was outsourced. They made his job difficult by not showing up when they said they would, but he always had a good attitude and great customer service and always found the time to accommodate us into his already busy schedule. He was always there when he said he would be, and if there was a chance he'd be doing something different he was very considerate to call or send a message. The home restoration place was supposed to "reinstall" our cabinets but didn't. Not only that, they damaged sections, and didn't bother re-cocking to make it look nice. It was not at all A.P.E.S. responsibility to fix or make that right in any way, but he went down to the hardware store almost immediately and did. It was all the little things about A.P.E.S. plumbing that I noticed, that I can easily say, I've never experienced elsewhere. And they may seem like little things, but to me, they are so significant, especially in terms of establishing great trust as well as integrity of a person, and a business... and it was through these little things that I learned that they cared. For example, I had opened the side gate for them to have easier access with their tools to enter the back door and he saw me struggling to lock it ONE TIME. He put WD-40 on it for me, and it was like a brand new lock there after. Then there's that one time he fixed the access door to the kitchen sink. It used to hang funny. It used to drive me nuts. I never brought this up to him, and I never asked him to fix it. He never charged me for it, and he didn't even mention it to me. I noticed when he finished everything after they finished the job, and it just left me feeling amazed that people who believe in this old time, customer service still exist. They did several other things for us as well, including running the camera down the line, and just to be prudent, the hydro wash. We couldn't be happier with the work that was produced from this company. I am only disappointed that this plumbing service does not come up immediately when I am searching for plumbers. Don't go anywhere else, you might regret it. But in this case I can guarantee, if Jim is there, and something can be done about it, you will be forever grateful, just like me.

Dielectric water fitting hiding in a gas line
    Ken M.

I have really mixed feelings about this company. I had a gas leak at my house resulting in my gas being turned off. They were very responsive to messaging on yelp. The first technician found a couple leaks but could not get the system to hold pressure. He did not remove the meter which was a major mistake - what if it was the meter leaking? He recommended advanced testing with helium. As you may know, helium is in very short supply so the testing is no longer available. They now use propane - but I could only find one company which does the test and it was a huge waste of money ... but that's a story for a different time. I had Diamondback Plumbing give me a second opinion. Within minutes, their tech pointed out a dielectric fitting which is for water lines. When I called to complain, APES sent a different technician (Carter W) out to fix it. Carter was wonderful and is the hero of the story. He found multiple leaks and sections of pipe missed by the original crew. He was beyond exceptional and got our gas restored. Lessons I learned - if you need "advanced leak testing," you need to replace all the lines. With flexible pipe, it's cheaper and easier. Second, the meter needs to be removed for leak testing. And last, leaking gas lines is a major pain in the ass!!!

Small pinhole leak, about 2 inches from that right wall. Dent not corroded.
    Chris A.

Guy came out and tried to sell me the most expensive option. Scheduled it for a few days later but got other opinions. Someone else actually took the time to analyze the issue, give me their best diagnosis and why, made the repair and proved why I did not have to go the most expensive option. Did business with the second company for being honest. My whole pipe was not corroded. The metal lid apparently struck my pipe and caused a pinhole leak. Saved me $3,000

From a microwave combo to 1000 CFM vented for a new stove that's on order. Great job and fast!
    Donna R.

Fast appointment. Personable, on time and got the venting done in spite of obstacles in the crawl space due to construction!

Before there was brown scum all around the base. Carter left it spotless and clean
    Bill P.

The original problem was liquid coming out around the base of the toilet. I had a plumber sent from AHS home insurance who pulled the toilet and said I needed a rooter company because there were roots clogging the toilet. he wouldn't do it, thank goodness because I called APES from good reviews here. Turns out the AHS guys diagnosis was incorrect, the guy put a new wax ring in and it was the wrong size, and there were NO roots. APES to the RESCUE!!!! Carter gave me all the potential things that might be going on and we discussed the way to go. He gave me plenty of understanding to make a great decision and so we pulled the toilet expecting to see roots. No roots. But the ring that attaches to the pipe and holds the studs on which the toilet sits and is bolted down was corroded to the point of wobbling. It was super obvious and the other plumber should have seen it. Carter gave me a very fair price to put on a new one. In addition he cleaned up all the gunk that had stuck under the toilet. Where the other plumber asked us to supply towels to pick up the water Carter had a wet dry vac so no need for us to supply a bunch of old towels. Carter did a very clean job, he properly sized the wax ring and, with the new foundation part, tightened the toilet down correctly and did a beautiful job of finishing off the base with silicone. He said he left a little opening in the back of the silicone so if it ever leaked again it would come out in that one place. Absolutely great job, clean, professional and I will use them again for ANY plumbing needs. Ok I can't help myself, I'm going APE for APES. Sorry, feel free to groan.

    Tamara D.

I had my plumber cancel on me twice for an install/replacement of 2 upstairs toilets and I decided to call APES. The owner responded quickly on Yelp and was able to accommodate a service install the same day! Not only was the team quick to respond, quick to come out and provide their service, but they were also VERY reasonably priced. Cole, our plumber came, was respectful, friendly and was very knowledgeable. He even took the time to answer all of my questions, even removing my old toilets and helping me throw away the boxes from the toilets I purchased. Cole was great and so was the owner, Ralph. Super grateful for these guys.

Got this York AC unit and love it! Best installation team!!
    Allison C.

Responsive team and competitively priced. I will use these guys again! Have used for both plumbing and HVAC needs. My neighbor loves them too. Thank you!

The Facebook page where there is no review we tion! I find that odd! There ad says they are open 24/7 That is a lie.

First off, let me begin by saying that my house was built in 1974. This is an important fact,…read moreespecially when it comes to the plumbing. Over the years, we've had tons of plumbers out to look at the stems in our shower and tub. They always say the same thing... "Wow. That's really old. Those parts may be hard to come by." This latest "flow" started out as a drip and progressed very rapidly. I finally knew I had to call a plumber, but the company that came out the last time something like this happened was out of business. I found two reputable plumbers in my area using Yelp and another website: Copper Line Plumbing and Deer Valley. I called Copper Line first. My information was taken down by gentlemen who told me that he would "forward it to the office" (I must've dialed the emergency line?) and that "someone would get back to me". Since it was almost 10am, I figured someone would call back soon. After waiting 30 minutes for a call back (more on that later), I decided to try Deer Valley. What a difference! I was immediately transferred back to the service department and scheduled for same day service with Eric. The follow up from Deer Valley and Eric was terrific! I knew exactly when he was going to show up and he showed up on time. I explained the age of the house and what I thought the problem was. Eric had had plenty of experience fixing problems with older plumbing. He was great! He knew right where to go to get the parts and got the job done. We've got other plumbing issues coming up, and I'll be calling Eric and Deer Valley! BTW = no knock on Copper Line (their reviews seem good), but they finally called me back and left a voicemail four hours after I had called them. The gentleman who called told me that he could fit me two days later. He told me to respond by phone or text. I texted, and told him that we were going with another plumber. I think I made the right decision.

this was like a 1 star experience…read more Tech came out on 6/24 for a clogged Condensate Drain Line. I confirmed if I could pay with cash, they said yes in the text messages and proceeded to send out a technician that didn't have $40 in change. I go to pay the $240 bill with 3 one hundred dollar bills and the guy acts like it's a hassle to give me change like wtf bro lol Just 2 20 dollar bills and we would've be okay. you don't carry $40? Like what do you do when you need gas in your car and the card reader is down? They said they could take the extra money and cut me a check (which seems like a lot of effort to me) but they couldn't drive 20 seconds to the nearest corner store and just break the cash? In my opinion, technicians should be carrying like $40 - $50 bucks of cash on time for those customers that still pay with cash because they don't want their credit card number out there like that. Because if you give your credit card to everyone then it's more likely to be found in a data breach. They were not willing to drive 30 seconds to the nearest store to break change either. Okay, kinda odd. I couldn't drive myself since I'm on medication that might affect my ability to safely operate a vehicle at this time. So I ended up paying "extra" for the guy to use one of my air conditioner cleaners to clean the inside of the unit. I paid like $300 for this , it included him using one of my chemical cleaners to clean some stuff. The house smelled all day long from all the cleaning products. I wasn't properly educated or informed this might be a possibility so that was a surprise too. I would've politely declined and said no if I had known I'd be breathing in this odd chemical smell during the harsh Arizona summer. Also I definitely feel like these guys are gonna upsell you some special UV light to clean your air like cmon bro that shit doesn't even work these guys tried hitting me with a $1500 service like brother I called you to get the water out of my unit lol So honestly I feel like there's cheaper options out there so you should always do your own research. Won't be calling again. 1 star

I received several responses with quotes, and Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter was the first company to reach out. I contacted them around 5 PM on Wednesday, and they were able to schedule a free estimate for Friday. Dan Burke showed up right on time. He was professional, efficient, and easy to talk to. Like the other companies I spoke with, he recommended repiping as the best solution for the long run. He gave me an estimate for the project and also mentioned that if the office couldn't schedule the repair on Monday, he could stop by to do a quick temporary fix to stop the leak and then come back when they could finish the job. I really appreciated that because I don't like wasting water. The price Dan quoted was also very reasonable compared to the other companies. After thinking it over, I decided to go with Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter and called the office to schedule the appointment. They weren't able to do the repipe on Monday but scheduled it for Tuesday. Dan did come by on Monday to help temporarily stop the leak. Then he and his team came back Tuesday morning and started the project. Everything went smoothly. My house now has a new pipe, no more leaking, and it feels great knowing the issue is fixed. I'm glad I found a plumbing company I can trust.

EASILY my favorite company I've ever done business with in the Valley!…read more I had a unique situation with getting a two stage whole home water filtration system added to my existing salt water softener. Brian was so knowledgeable and passionate when he came out to talk about my home's existing plumbing. When we bought the house in 2022, it was called out on our inspection report that the polyethylene piping from the main to our home should be replaced. After talking with Brian, I felt so good getting CWS to replace and redo the poly with good old copper. Michael came out a few days later and did a beautiful job installing all the copper plumbing and two stage water filtration system that includes the water pressure gauges and bypass valves (which are great to have for servicing and/or if something bad happens in the future). I highly recommend everyone get the psi pressure gauges installed ESPECIALLY with the valley having higher water pressure right now with the ongoing construction needs (which I'll talk about next). After Michael completed his job, the city of Phoenix replaced my water meter. Turns out my old water meter near the street had a leak to it. Once the water meter was replaced I noticed the psi on the gauges climbed to 100-110 (depending upon time of day). For those that don't know, plumbing likes to be in the 50-70 psi range. Anything above 90 and you should really get a plumber out to look at your pressure reducing valve (PRV). While my pressure was high, I noticed my backyard irrigation system was EXTREMELY powerful! The way the water from the main gets teed off between inside of my house and backyard pool + irrigation needs, it was obvious city of Phoenix replacing water meter was the culprit. Whenever a water meter gets replaced, they don't do a good job keeping it clean installing it where sediment will often get into the line and cause PRVs to fail. That's what happened with mine where CWS came out the next day and replaced both of my PRVs with Kyle doing a great job as well. Now, my water pressure is sitting nicely at 70 psi. I like my pressure on the higher side of that 50-70psi Lofty review but I really loved having this company update my plumbing and install the whole home 20" big blue water filtration system! They really do care about customers AND the work they do. There's a VERY GOOD reason their reviews are 5/5 on Google and Yelp! Can't beat their prices too that are VERY transparent! Great payment options and warranty as well! Also, I like the products they use since it's NOT relegated to a single manufacturer. Will recommend them to everyone.

Kyle arrived early for the install and took the time to do the install right. And, the price was better than competitor offerings. I love being able to buy local from a company the follows through from the first time I dropped by their office. I strongly recommend using CWS!
