Went to get my spoiler installed last month by apex auto body. After calling around and getting quotes upwards of $300 I decided to call this shop and get a quote. They requested to see the car which I brought by and they said it would cost 150. I brought my car and spoiler to get installed with a template and it took them no more than 40 minutes. The spoiler looked amazing and as I was ready to pay, he said it was only $80 because the job was super quick. They quoted (and charged) us $400 for the repair, including Lexus white pearl, too coat and threw in a free car wash and headlight buff. If you check around you know that's a great deal for anything below the paint, especially when they need to remove the bumper. They were busy due to the recent rains, but super friendly and whenever I called were able to provide me updates on my car. I had a fender bender which required some minor bumper work on my car. It was my fault so I was going to pay out of pocket. I found Apex on Yelp and read all the reviews. Seemed this was a great place to try out for my repair. I contacted Apex and scheduled an appointment. Once my damage was reviewed, I was quoted a very reasonable price, much lower than anyone else I checked with, and a very reasonable turn around time of a few days. Again, faster than anywhere else I checked. Observations of the place were a bit questionable, it was a much older building and messy inside. The waiting room was also a mess to be honest. But I did see a few nice cars being worked on at the time. I decided to give them a try and dropped my car off. On the day of expected delivery I gave them a call. Nobody answered and I got their voice Mail. It was quite the generic default voice Mail system. It did not confirm what business you were calling. I then tried to leave a message, but the system indicated it was full. Ok. I tried again one hour later and got a hold of someone who confirmed my car was ready. I proceeded to head down there to pick it up. When I got there I saw my car and wow, it looked like new. Incredible. I looked close and could not see the prior damages, and the paint match was excellent. I am happy to confirm all the glowing reviews are true, as far as my experience went. The guys I interacted with were very nice as well, something you don't always get at body shops from my experience. The only gotcha is, they take cash or check only. No credit cards. read more

I gotta say Apex really impressed me and I had pretty high expectations going in since they have such solid reviews. So I've had some bumpers I've been meaning to have installed on my car and I finally forced myself to spend the money to have it done. Called a few places and found Apex would be the one I'd go with. Upon arriving to the shop, it's a little on the cluttered side even in their lobby but honestly that's fine, you're probably not going to be doing quick same day work at a body shop. They gave me a quote for the work and told me he'd text me with progress pictures throughout the week. They did over promise there since I didn't get any progress text messages and I did have to call more than once to see if we were on schedule. They were a little behind since I cheaped out a bit on my rear bumper and it required some extra work. Anyways once I got my I was a little bummed to find my wheels weren't done (they said they could drop them off at a shop nearby that does powder coating) again a bit of an over promise here. But they made up for it by fixing something that was unexpected on my car for no extra charge. All that said, even with all the small short comings, it didn't matter their work spoke for itself. My car came out just the way I wanted. If I decide to do side skirts on my car I'll be back to their shop for sure. Their shop may not look like much, but they do an excellent job with paint. I dealt with Henry and he was very pleasant and professional. My car needed some light paint work on a bumper. The scratches were too long and deep for a mobile paint shop, but also too small for a couple other auto body shops I took it to. They said it wasn't worth fixing. Henry had the bumper painted for $600 and also touched up some small paint nicks on one of my doors. I can tell you it looks great after they fixed it up, it made a lot of difference for me, looks like a new car. read more

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Paul's work at Apex Auto Body yet since I've been going to him for years now. As most of you know, I am very particular about who touches my car, and the work that is done. I've been to a fair number of body shops, detail shops etc. and haven't been nearly as happy with the work as I have with Paul. Although I love my detailers (Spider Auto Glass), once in a while a detail just can't help you buff out some inconsiderate jerk who parking lot hit n' run on you when you just got a brand new detail job. That's where Apex Auto comes in. Paul is friendly, reliable and always happy to help. Whatever the problem is, he makes me feel like he has a good handle on it, and promptly does the work, often going above and beyond. I always feel like I'm getting a killer deal and wonder how he's still in business because of all the extra work he does :) I know I can trust Paul and his guys to do modifications, paint, or just simply fix my poor car that was rear ended by again ... thoughtless drivers on the road so that it is as good as new and sometimes better. He also has great contacts for clear bras and other car-related services that he doesn't do and makes sure to bring the car to these other shops to get everything done so when its returned to you, you didn't have to do ANY leg work! Seriously solid - this is why Apex has been around for so long and why I will continue to go to Paul for all my body shop repair needs. read more

I had a small accident in my 2000 Camaro. Narrowed it down to 3 shops. I first met up with Paul, talked and he gave me a few estimates, depending on what I wanted done. I told Paul I was going to stop by another two shops since I already arranged to meet them. I drove to the other guys in Sunnyvale. The estimator had a problem with my OEM parts because he did not order them. Made me wait 20 minutes before he started entering info. As I was leaving, he said he was going to email me. 3 months later, I no email. I drove to the other guys in Milpitas. Great service, but I was not satisfied with the price, or the paint they were going to use. Returned to Paul, and he broke it down for me. Unfortunately my mom's 2008 GTI got hit that same week. We dropped her car off at Apex and asked if they can make her car a priority over mine. The GTI rolled out within a week looking like it did on Mother's Day 2008 they even fixed a few little dings another shop "fixed". Work continued on the Camaro. I stopped once in a while to see progress on my car. Finished product was everything I wanted, factory Arctic White, new headlights with whistler mod, and OEM body kit. This is not just a body shop, it is an art studio. The work, time and detail Apex has cannot be described with words. All I can say is Apex is my only body shop, and I am not letting my friends get jipped by, the other guys. read more
