Before my Porsche Panamera even arrived, I spent weeks researching paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, and detailing shops throughout the Bay Area. As someone who had waited months for a custom-ordered Porsche, I knew I wanted to protect the car from day one and wasn't willing to trust it to just anyone. I researched, visited, or spoke with nearly ten different shops before making my decision. Some were significantly cheaper. Some promised much faster turnaround times. Many claimed they could deliver the same result. Between the PPF, ceramic coating, window tint, windshield protection film, interior protection, and other treatments, my project represented an investment of nearly $20,000. At that level, I wasn't looking for the cheapest option--I was looking for the highest level of craftsmanship. One thing that stood out during my research was that many Bay Area shops quoted anywhere from 20% to 50% less than Supreme Detailworks. At first glance, that gets your attention. However, many of those same shops also quoted completion times that were only one-third or even one-quarter of the time James estimated for essentially the same scope of work. That immediately raised a red flag for me. When someone claims they can do the same work for far less money and in a fraction of the time, I start asking questions. The more I learned about Supreme Detailworks' process--paint preparation, component removal, edge wrapping, tucked installations, and quality control--the more I understood where that extra time was going. It wasn't inefficiency. It was attention to detail. I also compared Supreme Detailworks against one of the highly respected PPF shops in the Chicago area that is nationally known for premium installations. To my surprise, James' pricing was very similar. And even if I had chosen the Chicago shop, shipping the car there and back would have added roughly another $5,000 in transportation costs alone, not to mention additional time and logistics. Having that level of craftsmanship available right here in the Bay Area made the decision much easier. For my Panamera, James and his team installed PPF, ceramic coating, window tint, front windshield protection film, protection for the headlights and glass roof, interior PPF for the gloss black trim, and matte protection for all touchscreen surfaces, including the digital instrument cluster. The result is so seamless that several of my friends couldn't even tell my Panamera had PPF installed. In fact, I had to physically show them where to look and where to touch before they realized the vehicle was protected. That's how clean and invisible the installation is. What impressed me most was that James never tried to upsell me. Instead, he took the time to explain the different options and recommend what made the most sense for how I planned to use the car. One thing many people don't realize is that the true quality of a PPF installation is found in the details--the edges, seams, corners, and difficult areas where shortcuts are often taken. James and his team don't take shortcuts. They carefully remove and disassemble components when necessary to ensure the film is properly wrapped and hidden wherever possible. After investing nearly $20,000 in protection, the last thing I wanted was visible seams, lifted edges, or obvious installation lines. Supreme Detailworks delivered exactly what I was hoping for: a fully protected vehicle that still looks completely factory original. Another thing prospective customers should know is that Supreme Detailworks is almost always busy. There is usually a waiting list, and scheduling requires patience. If you're looking for the fastest shop in town, this may not be the place for you. If you're looking for the cheapest shop in town, this definitely isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a team that refuses to rush the process and treats your vehicle as if it were their own, the wait is absolutely worth it. During my visits, I regularly saw Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, Maseratis, Porsches, Mercedes-Benz, BMWs, Audis, Land Rovers, Lexus vehicles, Teslas, and many other enthusiast cars in the shop. Seeing that lineup gave me additional confidence that I had chosen the right place. After seeing the finished result on my Porsche, I can honestly say my expectations were exceeded. This place is pricey but they'll still booked out so that speaks to the quality of their services. My only issue was that there were these white lines on the sides of my hood which were hard to pick up during delivery but my collision repair shop was able to diagnose this as wax that wasn't properly removed post detail. Gave me a bit of a scare as they looked like real scratches which I would have no idea where they came from. Besides that, the car looks great. read more

After doing research on PPF for months (I had time as my car wasn't due to arrive stateside for another 4 months), I narrowed my selection down to Supreme Detailworks and another place that's well known in SoCal. For me, quality was the primary consideration. I ultimately chose Supreme Detailworks 1) because of the variety of PPF films they carry and 2) their attention to detail. Most places just carry one brand as it's probably easier and satisfies majority of customer's needs. Supreme Detailworks is a step above in that they can satisfy majority of customers out there but also those who might be looking for something specific or are very particular. I should note that the hood of my car is more challenging than the average case as it's HUGE due to the clamshell design (2023 Porsche Macan GTS) which extends past the headlights and top of side fenders. Perhaps not a challenge to installers who would install this in parts and line up the edges, but James did it in one single sheet. He also showed me how they wrapped the edges around to the underside (making it less prone to lifting). Customer service was top notch. James took the time to show me everything they carried, pros and cons of each (which aligned with my research). He's pretty staunch on educating the customer and having them choose based on what's important to them. He kept me updated on the progress of my car and kept the car for a few days after the install to let it settle / cure (I also did ceramic for the areas that weren't PPF'ed). He also asked me to come back a week later as the film might continue to shrink and so that he could address any concerns I had. James and his brother don't take shortcuts and compromise on quality - they will take more time or do things the harder way if they believe it will yield a better result. On top of that, they're just really cool guys to talk to! I always enjoy seeing the cars they work on (more testimony to the trust people put in these guys for their high-end cars), including their own for Wekfest. The complex had issues with the exit gate the day I came in, so had to drive around to Charcot to enter the complex, which is the proper entry to the complex anyway. See images posted. Basically Supreme is in a bunch of garages behind Club AutoSport. Had an appointment and picked my services ahead of time, so had a quick discussion about what they could or could not improve on the car. Our car had not even been polished since 2014, but is carport stored. Had tons of swirl marks. I stayed around while the work was done, long wait. Now you sit in the Club Autosport main showroom. Tons of seats, some cool cars to look at, bathrooms nearby, but no drinks or food immediately handy. There is a restaurant about 9min walk away. About 2.5hr in, got photos and videos of the first steps. Really a nice improvement! Seeing the progress made the waiting go a little easier. More coming.... read more

James wrapped my Tesla when I bought it, wrapped my Porsche when I bought it, and re-wrapped areas on the Tesla that had collision damage and had been repaired. He does excellent quality work. Excellent work from James and the team as this is 2nd Tesla that he did a full PFF body-wrap on my Tesla 2025 M3. When I traded in my 2018 for the new 2025 at the beginning of this year, the wrap remained in place with no bubble or peels after parking outdoor 24/7 for 6 years. At trade in time, the outside of spoiler that was installed by Tesla after PPF body wrap was all warped, broken and peeled in various places. I went with the cheaper quote and quickly learned that the lower price did not equal a quality product. Beware - If you go here for tint, they're going to take advantage of you and rip you off. If you're new to having your windows tinted, there are two methods of installing tint. There is "bottom loading" where they take the panels off your doors to install the tint, and there is "two-staging" where they install it without removing your door panels. It's simply the installers preference on how they want to do it to make their job easier. This shop does bottom loading. The issue is they rip you off by charging $45 per door ON TOP of the initial quote. No other shop charges you extra since it's the installers choice to take the panels off. It's not the customers problem, so there is no need to transfer that cost to the customer. However, this shop tries to take advantage of you, and make you pay for something labeled as "extra labor" even though it's just part of their normal tinting process. Absolute scam and not industry standard (look it up on any professional tint forums or groups) They also rip you off by bait/switching the pricing . Wil & James quoted me $250, both on a Yelp quote, and over the phone to tint my 2 front windows- I agreed, and even set the appointment. It was only after I set the appointment did they tell me it was going to be an extra $90 (2 windows done) on top of the already existing $250 install fee. $340 for a just a 2-window tint job!! Luckily, I knew that this was shady and went with a different shop. read more

This was several years ago and I enjoyed the clean for a long time. Fast forward to last year and it was time for another good cleaning but this time I used another company thinking they do the same. I was wrong. The company does great work and clean every spot in the car. The lost bit of food that was creating a smell was found and removed and what I got back was like a new car! Had 2 cars wrapped with full body ppf here recently; a BMW M2 Competition and Tesla MX, and couldn't have had a better experience. James and his team are OCD perfectionists. First of all, the ppf pricing and film options are very well presented in a comparison flyer. For the actual wrapping, they use custom bulk cuts and go completely around the edges. Because of that, they take the time to remove body panels, badges, etc. So make sure you're comfortable having someone partially taking your car apart. I can tell you my cars were put back together flawlessly, even the badges. And the end result is totally worth it. No visible seam lines anywhere. James pointed out several paint and fitment issues with the MX, and even a couple that I could barely see on the M2. He suggested taking the MX back to fix some of the defects, and gave several good tips on how to deal with their service dept. There was a particularly bad spot on the trunk of the MX where the paint was raised, and they had painted over some defect under the paint itself. He didn't want to wrap it because it wouldn't look good so after it was fixed I took it back and they finished the job. I watched them put the finishing touches on the M2 and they paid attention to every small detail, even wrapping the small bars on the side markers. Vehicles are cleaned prior to pick up. Not only do they do good work but they are awesome guys to work with and even just shoot the sh*t about cars. You can tell they all love what they do. They work on a lot of high end cars and I saw a new GT500 and RS8 along with several Porsches and a Ferrari at their shop. Prices were super reasonable considering the effort and quality of work. Don't hesitate to give these guys a call if you're looking for any detailing/wrap/ppf work on your car. read more

James took close to an hour explaining how wrapping works, various films, the pros and cons; very informative and very details. I decided to go with them, and could not be happier. There is something about driving a car that's super shiny, sparkly with no dirt and crumbs on the floors that just make me happy. Clean Car = Happy me. When I initially called, I spoke with Will and it took me a few weeks to book an appointment. I wasn't in a rush so no biggie. I drove into the lot and I met both Wil and Noel. Wil recommended the Deluxe Package ($70) which included: Steam wash Windows cleaned Wheels cleaned Tires Dressed Door jambs cleaned Interior & trunk vacuumed Dash & vents cleaned They were super nice from the beginning and I was surprised that they used a steam cleaner coming from a spray hose to clean and polish every inch of my exterior. No wasted water here! I was impressed already. Between Wil and Noel, they took a little over an hour and a half while I waited in their lobby as they cleaned my car. The fridge was stocked full of Orange Fanta soda and water), a tv, and a comfy couch. And because I drink so much water, I had to use the facilities here about 3x. The bathroom was clean too! They do also offer free wi-fi but I had trouble connecting here. I ended up using my data plan which was just fine. The only thing that I did notice was that they forgot to clean the mirrors just above wheel on my visor. No biggie-- I easily wiped that down myself.
