We had new windows installed in late November, 2024 by Apex Energy Solutions. Wow what a difference it has made in the cold and hot weather! Electricity expenses were down about 20% in the winter and the overall comfort was obvious. It has been even more noticeable in the heat! The master bedroom of our home is on the 2nd floor with East facing windows and no shade. The bedroom has very large windows and it would get HOT! Howdy! Just had Apex Windows Installed in our home. We're in Oregon - West Coast... Our sales rep was Dianah DeuPree (541) 232 3833 - She was definitely busy but always found time to meet with me when I had questions. The process was super easy - we placed an order and then had someone come out to measure. Those measurements were used to order our windows. About 2 months later the windows arrived and we scheduled for installation. The install crew were great - although the process was VERY LOUD. If you need new windows, new sliding glass doors, or exterior doors, go with Apex. Their product is truly superior in every category: aesthetics, performance, efficiency, and customer service. Well worth the price, especially since they come with a lifetime warranty. All of the stars! Long Version: I've never experienced the process of getting new windows before, but I am confident that there can be no better experience than that with Apex. From conception to execution, the entire process was easy, honest, and a bit of fun! My husband set up the initial meeting to learn about the windows and I was skeptically interested; knowing that windows are expensive but also that our 20ish year old, builder-grade windows were failing, some simply no longer operational. The rep who came to our house, Shadow, is an amazing human. He knew the product inside and out, was able to answer all of our questions, explained the science of their high-efficiency windows, and was kind to our kiddo who was playing "spy" around us. Shadow left with the sale and a second appointment to discuss a new front door, which we also purchased. A few months later and our windows, sliding glass door, and front door were ready! The scheduling process was beyond easy, just a couple of texts (though they did reach out via phone call as well and left a voicemail) and we hopped on a call to discuss the prep we'd need to do before the windows were installed. The team had taken pictures when doing measurements, so the person on the call could accurately tell us what we needed to move out of the way, very thorough. The team who came out for the install, lead by Constantine, were all professional, courteous, and worked extremely clean. As you can imagine, getting new windows means giant holes in your walls and lots of banging! Such a cool process to witness. Constantine was communicative throughout the install and was respectful to our family and his team, which is very important to me. Each morning he'd share with us their plan for the day and each afternoon, he'd fill us in on progress and tell us what to expect for the next day. This made it easy to plan our days around the construction and for me to plan where to safely put our cat. As for the product itself, these windows are amazing! The locks are crazy secure, the window panes pivot in for easy cleaning, the screen slides so you adjust whether the top or bottom of the window is open. Magic. Such excellent construction, these are sturdy windows. The locking mechanisms on the sliding glass and screen doors are the most heavy duty locks I've ever seen on sliding doors. No flimsy pieces of cheap plastic that will easily break. The front door is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Stunning. We ordered a basic front door with minimal embellishments and it's gorgeous. Again, the locks are solid. All of their products are made with security at the forefront. Would I use Apex again? Absolutely! And you should too! read more

We had our old single pane aluminum windows replaced by Apex Energy Solutions a few months back and we couldn't possibly be happier! We are on a busier road and have noticed so many perks since they were installed. The traffic noise has drastically decreased and we feel we have more privacy with the curtains open. The windows almost have a tint to them so it is harder to see inside from the street which was an unexpected perk. We found it easier to keep the house cool during those hot summer days with no central A/C which was a huge relief! Now that the weather has shifted to freezing again, we turned the heater back on but found it too hot inside and turned our thermostat down for the first time since moving into this house in 2020. We had a lot of work done on our home over the summer and Apex was by far the most professional and thorough company we worked with. I believe we had twenty windows replaced and it only took a couple days. Every single employee we encountered was knowledgeable, helpful and so incredibly kind. Working with APEX has been a constant drain and at no time have anyone from this company tried to make things right. Once I signed the contract, there was radio silence from APEX. I constantly had to hound and badger for any information on the timeline. Once the windows were put in, they looked horrible. The corners were covered in scratches and dings. The craftsmanship was not up to the quality of the presentation with the sales agent. When I complained about the craftsmanship, again, radio silence. I had to constantly badger and harass for any information on a solution. I also had to spend my personal time, taking detailed photos highlighting the horrendous craftsmanship. Days go by with no communication, then out of the blue, with 20 minutes notice, I get a call that someone will be there to look at the windows. No notice, no emails, just a call and then they show up. I had to adjust MY schedule to accommodate their people. Ridiculous. While here, the APEX team constantly had an excuse and tried to pass the buck to someone else. As I told them, none of their issues are my problem. My problem has been and always will be APEX. THEN!! Their solution for a huge and expensive window install is to color it in with a marker. A fucking marker. You don't buy a brand new car and see the salesman covering dings and scratches with a marker. It's absurd to think this is even remotely acceptable. And par for the course, I had to badger the APEX team to schedule the marker-coloring session. Don't waste your time as they will waste yours read more

The windows are great quality, but we did have issues with installation. One window was installed damaged and it has taken a year to finally schedule the replacement. Some missing hardware had to be addressed shortly after the installation as well. Jimmy is working to resolve the issues so other customers can have a better experience. read more

We'd already sat through a different presentation with a competitor a year earlier where we'd fallen in love with their product by the end of the loooong hour and a half only to be slapped in the face with the price tag (just under my yearly salary). Hard (but sad) pass. With paper thin windows, cold winters, hot summers and a large heating bill we knew we still needed to find something. Enter Cody. He was super friendly and not too "salesy", but we were still hesitant to sit through another presentation only to be disappointed at the price tag. But this time we weren't! We decided to move forward with one of their affordable financing options. The windows were ordered before summer but due to supply chain issues and all that jazz they didn't come in until late summer and at that point we were in the midst of a big project involving our house and were unable to have the windows installed until just before Thanksgiving. They were very patient with us and never harassed us regarding an install date. When we were finally ready, they were happy to get us on their schedule for the next week. Tino and his assistant showed up on time and were very friendly and respectful of our property. Having major work done on your house while you are (working from) home is never fun but we made the best of it. They worked quickly and diligently to get the job done. The first day they did all the upstairs and basement windows. The second day the tackled the 2 large windows on our main floor. Although temps were cold outside, the second day, even though I turned the heat off while they were working, we were able to stay nice and toasty upstairs with the door closed in one of the rooms with new windows. That would never have happened with our old windows. We absolutely love our new windows. My husband had always complained that he wasn't comfortable in our house and that he was always cold. He'd just been starting to talk about covering our hardwood floors with carpet. He hasn't complained once since our install. I'm already looking forward to warmer weather just so we can open them (another thing we weren't able to do with many of our old windows). read more

We had several Apex Insignia windows installed in May. besides the fact that they look so much nicer than our old windows, we noticed right away how much more energy efficient they were. The bulk of them were installed on the sunny side of our house just before the first heat spell. The prior windows left hot spots on our floors where the sun shined through, but the new windows blocked a significant amount of heat (floors were normal to the touch). We generally noticed a big improvement in the inside temperature of our house. I'm hopeful that it will help in the winter as well. Purchase and installation were hassle-free. The only complaint I have is that when they installed the windows, they obviously had to apply white caulk around them on the outside of the house. They don't paint over that, they tell you to do it. Unfortunately, this is difficult because several of the windows are at the top of a vaulted room so they are tricky to reach from the outside. We will have to get someone to come out and do this for us, though it is such a small job, that will be difficult too. Anyway, it would just be nice if they offered a more full-service installation that included painting of these tricky window edges. read more

We had Jimmy as our sales rep and he was very informative and answered all our questions. We were able to get windows within our budget (so important especially during these times) AND our windows came in waaaaay sooner than we expected! We replaced all the windows in our house using APEX ENERGY SOLUTIONS. From the beginning working with the salesman Grant McGregor we knew we had made the right choice. Grant took his time explaining all of the features in the windows as well as answering all of my many questions. He was very patient and quite a gentleman. Everything that I was wanting in a window was available for my house. Living in a floating home we usually have a problem finding a company that is willing to work on the water. Grant said this would be their first floating home and they were anxious to do it. When Paul arrived to put our new windows in, it became a bigger job than any of us expected. The old wooden windows and framing needed to be completely removed before installing the new ones. That included all of the framing inside had to be replaced. Paul was an amazing worker and never complained about anything as different problems came up throughout the install. He worked in the rain as well as his normal Sunday off. We used Apex Energy Solutions for a window replacements. The contract was signed in June with an August delivery date. The windows weren't installed until October. One of the windows arrived cracked and there were problems with 4 of the screens. Two didn't fit, a screen was torn and another screen was pushed out. I contacted the company president in November and a replacement window was delivered in December; however the seal was broken on that window. There was also pieces of siding that were cracked. The remedy to the siding still hasn't been addressed. Now about mid February, the replacement window arrived and 1 of the screens. The second screen still isn't the right size! I paid my bill in good faith so that I could receive the rebate from Energy Trust. I'm very pleased with the appearance of the interior of the windows as they look like wood windows and match our trim perfectly. It's so disappointing to spend top dollars and still have issues with the job. My advice is to make sure that the manufacturer is located locally. read more

Let us share our experience. We had several double pane windows in our house that needed replacement because the sealant broke and those windows were all fogged over. We chose Apex as the company and decided to replace all the windows in the house. Their work was impeccable - from explaining the product to installing and cleaning up after they were done. We decided on ultra-efficient windows to reduce heating cost and stay cooler in the summer. Here is what we have noticed so far since they installed the windows a few weeks ago. The rooms on the west side of the house used to warm up dramatically during the afternoon sun. Now the rooms are cool and very comfortable, and you can barely notice any temperature difference to rooms that are not exposed to this afternoon sun. The next unexpected surprise has been that inside the house it got considerable quieter. Before, with windows closed, we could hear the noise from the highway depending on wind direction. Now, with the new windows, we do not hear this anymore. We're confident that the new windows will keep us warmer in the winter as well and reduce our energy consumption - one extra plus. The windows are nice looking and are made out of 3 glass panels with argon gas in between. That's what allows for the noise reduction and to better maintain the temperature inside the house.
