This last weekend, I called him for a dishwasher issue. He came out for 20 min and charged 285$ to fix. No problem. I appreciate the hard work. Today my washing machine is having the same problem. He says " I never fixed your washing machine, I just unplugged it and plugged it back in". He told my wife he did a hard reset when he was out here. I guess hard reset is just unplugging for 15 min according to him. He refused to come out to fix the washing machine problem again without charging me. We hired the company to fix the refrigerator cooling problem (refrigerator temperature did not stay cold). Technician Abdul came, and said it was the thermostat issue and replacing thermostat will fix the cooling problem. We paid him almost $300 for the fix. He said he only gave 1 month warranty. I showed him that the industry standard is at least 180 days warranty and told him 1 month warranty is unacceptable. He reluctantly increased the warranty to 3 months. Only 3 weeks after the repair, the same cooling problem showed up again, and the fridge won't stay cold. I contacted Abdul. Abdul now said it was the fan problem, and needed to charge more than $200 to replace the fan, and he won't refund the payment we made for his previous failed repair. This technician clearly did not diagnose cooling problem thoroughly and did not fix the problem in the first appointment. This company is incompetent, unprofessional and has no idea what they are doing. This is why they only gave 1 month warranty for refrigerator repair. They probably know their repair may not last for more than a month, and do not want to stand behind their work. Avoid this company and this technician to save you time, stress and money. read more

Abdul is the man!! Wow. Talk about great service! I put in a request to fix my dryer. Several other locations said they weren't able to help, but Apexfix came to the rescue! Not only did Abdul fix the dryer, but also explained the issues, talked transparently about pricing, and made a few suggestions on additional things he could look into at my request. This offer lead to a thorough and much needed extensive cleaning of ny fridge's condenser coils, and my dryer's lint trap and vent and duct system. I called Apexfix on my Maytag washing machine. After doing a little bit research based on the symptom i thought it was a sensor problem. Lo & behold it was a valve causing the control board to go haywire. Abdul a very pleasant gentleman came and assessed the situation, ordered the needed parts, came back 2 days after and fixed my washing machine. He gave a word of caution not to overload the machine because that is the cause of most problems. His tip was if you overload the machine while on was that is fine but when it starts rinsing and dry spin you have to take out half of the load and temporarily out it in the bucket while half of the load is rinsing. This way your machinel will be able to last a long time if taken care of properly. Service fee less the $59 diagnostic fee is very reasonable and saved a lot of money instead of purchasing a new one which we were contemplating. I got a good value for what i paid for. Too bad there are only 5 stars, i would have given him 10 easily. read more

Abdul was extremely unprofessional in his behavior. They had come for a dishwasher diagnostic call and didn't even do a power cycle reset and hardly spent 2-3 min and said that the board would need to be replaced. They are the experts - so I'm not questioning this diagnosis...I was told that I'll receive more details later on the exact parts that need to be changed. When they had to leave, my infant started crying uncontrollably ( unrelated) . When I told them that I'll Zelle the money after I take care of the crying child, they were like we can't leave without you paying us and just stood in the kitchen hands cross folded and even said show me the transfer and we'll leave. When I said they were being rude, he was like - "I'm not rude - you are wrong". I have absolutely no idea who would stroll into someone's house and just refuse to leave. They could've waited in their car while I took care of the child and it's not like I was gonna not pay and run away from my house. And they left my house only after I showed them the Zelle transfer. Folks - just be prepared for such stellar experiences... my worst ever experience ever... Edit - I did a reset based on what was on Reddit and the dishwasher started working...that shows their expertise! Also there's a public comment from Abdul that my kids are not his responsibility...of course it's not- I wouldn't even trust them with my appliances... My problem was with two guys standing in the middle of the kitchen just refusing to leave till they get paid on the spot even when they could've just waited for 5 min in their car! read more
