Ok, the burger was ok, the whole soda fountain is watered down, the fries were really greasy, and to top it all off, my burger had a hair that was included on the bottom bun (it was not mine, I had a knit cap on and i did not discover it until I took the wrapper completely off to eat the last 1/3 of the burger. Maybe the one star is a bit harsh... the gal at the counter was friendly, and the employee who brought my food was courteous, but cannot overlook the health issue with the whole hair thing. I ordered breakfast burritos online for pickup at the Tooele location. When I arrived to pick them up the employee at the window said they were temporarily closed. I stated that I had made an online order and had already paid. He said that they would not be fulfilling my order. I asked for my money back and he said I would need to go on the app to get a refund. I stated that I didn't use the app but instead used the web page but he refused to talk to me after that. I called another Apollo location and spoke to the manager who said she would call and have them refund the money but it could take up to a WEEK! The management at the Tooele location is so inept that other managers are having to cover for them. Apollo has decent to food but between being way over priced and their lack of adequate leadership I will not be giving them any further business. I suggest you do the same. read more

I had the Golden Burger, which is an Apollo on Garlic Texas Toast. With the toast and the pastromi, it is unique and quite good. The fries were good too. The one thing that was a dissapointment was the burger patty itself. It was thin, somewhat dry and unremarkable. Luckily, the other flavors are more distinct. With a larger, fresh ground beef patty, this would be a five star burger, and I would gladly pay a few dollars more for it. read more

After a strenuous midday hike to Paul Bunyan's, we stopped for lunch. I've never heard of Apollo Burger because we're from out of state, but I had a good feeling about it. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of perfectly charbroiled burgers and fries/onion rings. There was a delicious sauce for it all that I'd definitely recommend. Most disappointing breakfast I've had from a restaurant. I paid $7 for the Breakfast Platter and opened the box to find 2 smallish servings of completely unseasoned eggs and hash browns, 4 of the biggest slices of toast I've ever received, and none of the meat that the platter is supposed to come with. These guys went from ok to horrible in less than 6 months. Less than 2 months ago my wife stopped in to place an order. After standing in the lobby for 7 minutes without anyone at the grill to even say hello, it will be a minute, etc., she walked out. Today they finally called our order number after 20 minutes. The Apollo burger was impressive. Nice charbroiled cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and white onions topped with a gracious amount of delicious pastrami on a Kaiser bun. Usually this location is great and i havent had many probelms considering our town has went to shit and nothing seems to be ran right or taken care of right, there's alot of 'don't care, not my food' type of attitudes at many of the food places out here. But at any rate, usually this place is good. Tonight was so bad, I tried calling like 7 times and cant get through. It was bad enough I'm writing a bad review cause they screwed up my order big time, not one meal out of 5 was right. And every fry was either not cooked enough, one step up from frozen or sitting there for a while and tasted like they were leftovers. It super sucked and if I couldve gotten through to complain about it, I wouldve because I paid like $66 bucks and I couldve ate better at McDonald's foe a third of the price. We needed an easy place to eat and get back on the road after a hospital detour while traveling. Worst choice we could have made. The man taking orders was very rude and impatient and kept cutting my son off. After a 20 minute wait the fries arrived with many still frozen and the rest undercooked. The zucchini was also undercooked. I understand times are hard and finding help is even harder. But that doesn't excuse charging a huge amount of money for food that is not cooked. If the restaurant can't fulfill a promise of good food for outrageous costs then they shouldn't be open for business. So afraid we are going to end up with food poisoning after just the few bites we tried before trashing it. I never write bad reviews and try to find the good but after being charged such crazy amounts for really really bad food, something needed to be said. Other Apollo burger facilities are good this one is so - so. I ordered a simple meal and it took them near 20 minutes to bring me my food. I was surprised that after that amount of time that my burger was almost completely raw in the center I had to take it back and surprise, surprise it only took about 5 minutes to get me a proper cooked burger this time and there were more people now. Our family absolutely loves Apollo Burger but recently we had an experience at the Tooele location that will likely cause us not to go back for a long while. If you have a baby or young child you know that eating out can be complicated. We ordered got seated and proceeded to keep our 1 year old occupied. We watched others come in and sit down and suddenly 15 minutes later they were receiving their food. My husband checked and they said it would be done shortly. 10 minutes later he went back up and they proceeded to tell him that they had no order for us and there was no food ready. When we asked for a refund as our little girl was done being there they were rude about it. No apology or compensation was offered. Love the food but terrible customer service. read more

Since Country Pride at the TA has remove all discounts this has become our new breakfast stop. The food is great, and the pricing is extremely fair. Make sure to emphasis any custom cooking instructions (hashbrowns are soft cooked by default, toast is very lightly toasted, and over easy eggs are often very soft cooked - all easily fixed). It is fast food so you won't be building lasting friendships as with other sit-down joints you would regularly frequent. Usually I love going to Apollo Burger. It has been a restraint I have enjoyed for years. This the first time I have visited this location as I was visiting my boyfriend in Tooele and really wanted Apollo Burger. Right of the bat I was not impressed. When taking out order Brandon didn't seem to know what he was doing forgetting what size of combos we ordered. We both ordered the classic Apollo Burger combo large one with fries and one with onion rings. When getting our order we got a regular size fries and the other order was fine. I asked them about it and Brandon proceeded to apologize and say it was his fault and would see what he could do. He then came back and said we would have to pay to upsize the fries because on the receipt it said regular sized fry. I'm sorry but when you say large combo that means everything in the combo and when you admit it was your fault you should have to fix your mistake without the customer having to paying extra. This was really poor customer service in my opinion and I was not pleased about my experience here. Having worked as a cashier in fast food before I would have had to fix this mistake by giving that customer what they had asked for in the first place. I will not be eating here again. The real problem I have with this Apollo Burger is outside the south door. When you walk over from Jiffy Lube, you have to walk through a bunch of bird poop to get in the door. Most people drive there so it gets little notice I am sure. There is also no sidewalk from the corner to the door. Unsafe to be sure. read more
