I started with a virtual consultation with the owner, Patricia Wrixon. Pat was INCREDIBLE and was so understanding and supportive! I booked an appointment and because I live more than 6 hours away, she booked me on a Thursday morning, allowing us more than enough time to find the correct hair piece, overnight ship it, color and highlight on Friday and cut and blend with my bio hair Saturday along with teaching me all about the care of Follea hair pieces. Living so far away, Ashley (Office Manager) and Sara answered endless questions and emails. They ensured our trip was pure perfection. When we entered the Salon, the staff is amazing at Covid precautions as well as assuring you are seen in a private space due to the emotions of hair loss. We were offered coffee, americano, espresso, water and were catered to like royalty. Pat even helped us find the most amazing place to have dinner that evening! I am deathly afraid of going bald and the texture of my hair has drastically changed. Because of this, my husband and I decided I would purchase a Follea topper and a Follea wig that match; therefore I can wear whichever I am more comfortable in at the moment and no one will be the wiser! Not only did Pat not oversell, she was quick to point out that we did not have to decide that moment. By purchasing two pieces, it never dawned on me this meant twice the amount of work for Pat, the amazing guru of color, Michelle, and the fantastic hair cut/blend Agi!!And yet, they ensured that we had everything including education before we left on Saturday and had both pieces that match perfectly!! I arrived and they greeted me warmly and introduced me to Alison who would be styling me. She asked for my input on how I wanted my hair to look and she executed perfectly! She even offered to curl it after she blowed it out, and after I mentioned my hair usually doesn't hold curls well, she made sure to add the right type/ amount of product to make sure they would hold throughout the wedding while still having a natural, lightweight feel. When I arrived, I met Alec at the front desk, who is super nice and helpful. I met Kriscia during the initial consultation where she explained EVERYTHING! She answered my many questions, often demonstrating how to do something on her own hair to make sure that I understood. Because I was a first-time client, she did the color in a separate session before the extensions so she could see how the color looked in my hair to make sure the extensions she was going to order matched perfectly. Even after JUST the color, my hair looked great. The next session was for the extensions and cut. It takes quite a while to do the extensions, but I was able to get work done on my laptop (they gave me a lap desk to use) during some of the time. Kriscia is amazing about explaining things and setting expectations, double checking that I understood how much she was cutting off the length and things like that. Hair extensions require more work to take care of, and Kriscia explained all the details on how to do that. At the end, my hair looked absolutely amazing! It looks completely natural and beautiful! My fiancé was so impressed. The next day I had an appointment with my wedding make-up artist and my wedding hair stylist (two separate appointments). Both of these women (who are in the beauty industry) said my extensions were the best they had seen!

I arrived at 10:20 AM for a 10:30 AM appointment, waited 25 minutes to be seated, and was stuck in the salon until 6:00 PM. During the consult, she uncomfortably told me my hair looked "so dirty" (knowing I just came from the airport). She suggested a $40 scalp facial, but when showing me the quote, she had secretly upgraded it to a $125 "Luxury" version without asking. Exhausted from no sleep, I just went along with it. She will talk your head off using charming tactics to aggressively upsell you. She complained extensively about her personal financial problems and her $500/week chair rental and that really threw me off as a client. No hairstylist should be making that the client's problem! Your money issues are not my problem Brooke. Been there and it sucks but I don't push it on others... My bill ended up at a staggering $530-the most I've ever spent just wanting a fresh cut and color. I was honest and told her I couldn't tip more than what I have given because the total was so high. She easily could have rectified the situation by removing the unauthorized $125 charge, but she didn't. Brooke has genuine talent, but she needs to grow up professionally. I gave into my people-pleasing tendencies here, but I definitely won't be back.

The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 was because the way my ends were cut were chopped off. They weren't trimmed. They were just chopped off. That'd be okay if I weren't charged $400. $400 charge was to maintain my length, but wasn't. UPDATE: Edited mine to 4 stars because I really do love the color. Sam did an amazing job with my color. I was even told that your hair changes every seven years and my hair just can't get light again. These colors made me look so washed out. I hated it. I ended up going to a salon in Needham. She refused to put collar on it except for my roots. She lightened my roots and then put a toner on it. She turned my hair medium brown. I was horrified! She washed it out, put another toner on. This was a color I had never seen! I had a combination of orange and the other parts were brownish ash and greenish! I was totally freaked! And I have an event coming up this weekend. I read some reviews never thinking I would get in to anyone last minute. Lynda answered and was nice enough able to squeeze me in at the end of the day. Walking in with multicolored hair, and being told my hair can't be blonde again, I could just tell that she was going to be good. I hit the jackpot with Lynda! I'm blonde, my hair looks healthy, she gives a phenomenal blowout, and I will never go to anyone else again. Lynda is extremely knowledgeable and unbelievably talented! For the first time in so long not only was a blonde, but when I looked in the mirror I liked what I saw and I really hadn't for such a long time. I have curly, frizzy, fine hair and it is not easy to style and cut. Nate, the owner/co-owner is the best colorist and also bang & shag cutter anywhere, especially if you have curly hair! The best part, or cherry on the top, is that, unlike other salons where you go home looking great and then can't get your hair to look "that way" on your own, ever -- @ Trephin, Nate will literally sit down with you and go over your hair AND scalp needs, lifestyle (e.g. wash and go, or blow dry queen?, AirWrap or regular?) and in my case allergies and let you know exactly which products to use to replicate that look at home, plus what to do to keep your hair in a very healthy condition - which is the basis for all great hair. For example, Nate recommended drops for my hair which also repair the hair, double duty. And a conditioner that I leave in as a styling creme. Because of this I was finally able to get my hair healthy enough to grow long like I wanted to for the first time since I was a teenager. He also helped my daughter with dandruff. I've seen him sit down for 20 minutes with someone who had multiple allergies and find her products to use. He also gives samples of some of the shampoos/conditioners if needed. I call this my Hair Prescription and there is simply no one better!! Definitely in great hands here!
