Friendly people, good service, fresh product. Each chicken goes by $16 per. They are decent size, it is freshly slaughtered in halal way. This is about the freshest chicken can get possibly. Very exciting to see how it taste. They also sells eggs, of both duck chicken quail. Chicken eggs are 30 for $11. They also sell honey as well as goat milk, sheep cheese etc exotic stuff. Also sells turkey birds etc.

We were scouting this place out before we were even in town, and it did not disappoint!…read more We did their wagyu Philly cheese steak and the Wagyu filet sandwich, fries, the Wagyu wontons, and two drinks. I wiiiiish this place was local to us! They also have a meat counter to buy meats. It was soooo buttery and delicious. The service is extremely pleasant and kind. There's spots for you to sit, and the parking lot is a decent size. I guess I just wish there were high chairs but we make it work! I would return if I'm in the area again.

Every menu item has some type/form of waygu in it. From American staples like burgers and hotdogs to Asian favorites like wontons and lumpia. There's a variety of menu options to choose from including breakfast items. Palm Beach Meats also has retail selling meat, local food products and wine. After much deliberation, we ordered the Australian waygu filet sando, Australian waygu strip sando, waygu chili cheese hot dog, and the Japanese cream brulee cream sando. Everything was delicious, however the standouts were the filet sando and the cream brulee sando (employee's recommendation-no notes!). We sat at the bar and the employees we were chatting with were really nice and easy to talk to, and happy to share what their favorite menu items were. Our time was enjoyable and we will return and recommend to others!

Stopped in here to grab some food for Father's Day lunch. The goal was to feed 4 people, and have a…read morevariety of items. When we arrived the line was out the door and went around to the back. It was hot, but the team took great care of us. They made sure everyone had water, and for those of age they even offered one Smokemade Lager from Ten 10 Brewing. The line did move at a slow and steady pace. And I appreciate them for offering the waters, the beer, and for managing the line and keeping it orderly. Once it was my turn to order, I did my best not to order everything, but also did my best to pick some favorites. While there was only four of us, we wanted to have a spread and have leftovers. So I ordered two brisket sandwiches, one pulled pork sandwich, one philly sandwich, 6 ct- tallow fried wings (hot korean bbq), large side of cheddar grits, large side of pinto beans, large side of mac and cheese, and a large side of potato salad. When the sandwiches were being made I was immediately impressed by the amount of brisket and pulled pork being put on the sandwiches. While packing our food, I noticed they threw in a loaf of bread. When they handed it to me, I asked if the bread was our ls and they said it was. We didn't order it, but I am thinking since our order was over $100 it might be something that is included, not very sure. Once to my destination we unpacked all of the food and laid it out. It all looked so good, and the smell was out of this world. Everyone quickly made plates and dove it. It didn't take long for us to start commenting on how delicious everything was and that we loved it. The sandwiches were generously packed with super flavourful meat. The cheddar grits were amazing. Some of the best mac and cheese I have had. And the pinto beans were great and I loved the meat they include in the. While we all thought the potato salad was good, it was the least exciting of everything. I think we all prefer a wetter and more southern style. My wife did enjoy her philly, but did make the comment that it was more brisket tasting and not enough philly like. It was also packed with meat and looked amazing. The wings were a nice little addition, great flavor and cooked perfectly. And that free loaf of bread was fantastic, it was similar to a potato bread. Everything was so good and well with the wait. I look forward to my next meal here. The staff was phenomenal and so helpful. Everyone was in great spirits and did a wonderful job, especially considering how busy it was.

I have to be honest I wasn't impressed by my visit to Smoke Made Meats on Crystal Lake Drive…read more I had the brisket sandwich, but the meat was almost a paste, and the BBQ sauces didn't really deliver, super watery. The mac and cheese also left me wanting more it just wasn't as rich as I hoped. That said, their collard greens were outstanding truly the star of the show. And the butter gooey cake? That was a sweet win. I also tried their Frisco fries, and they were decent, but I wouldn't rush back just for those. The ambience is really laid-back. It's like any regular barbecue place. I saw at least 3 to 4 tables of people sitting down and enjoying their barbecue and they seem to have a steady stream of traffic. The cashier who is also getting our food order together seemed really nice. She had a great personality. I honestly don't feel the need to go back and visit again. I feel like I would enjoy barbecue more from four rivers.

Within 20 minutes of being there, we walked out with Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, chimichurri, and a stuffed pork chop. The Swedish meatballs are AMAZING. We just heated them up in the microwave but they were the most moist and well-seasoned Swedish meatballs/sauce that we've ever had. Blows IKEA meatballs out of the water. Mashed potatoes were super velvety and perfect with the meatballs. Chimichurri sauce is perfectly seasoned. We're trying the pork chop and brussel sprouts tonight but based off everything else, I'm sure it will be delicious. All the workers were super nice and helpful for a couple of newcomers to the store. I never expected such a gem of a hidden little meat market in Longwood. We're definitely coming back. Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.
