Loved the place. Its a cute little diner with amazing food. I had the chicken salad sandwich and honestly have never had anything like that before. Its a cold sandwich which disappointed me in the beginning as I like my burgers and sandwiches hot. But oh man as I ate the first bite, I was a fan. The celery, walnut and grapes with the house dressing and chicken was just like a meal from heaven. Every bite is savory, the crunch of celery and walnut with the taste of grapes to balance it out. It comes with a side of grapes which i thought was weird in the beginning but that side was just the perfect addition which made the burger feel light. It just was not that great. I was hoping that it would be better than some of the reviews, as I really like good diner food. It's not bad, just basic. We got the Eggs Berniese and some type of chicken fried steak scramble. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, real potatoes, made their own steak, etc...it just lacked flavor, needed seasoning or something. I had never had Eggs Berniese before. It was similar looking to Eggs Benadict but had a very different taste. It wasn't terrible but I don't care for it. I would guess there version of it comes from a powder or frozen bass. The coffee wasn't that great either. The service and staff were excellent, very friendly. I would go back. read more

First day I was amazed. Second day I was more than disappointed! Coffee was colored water not even had a coffee flavor - waitresses are snippy and unfriendly my kids got there breakfast as we was half done with ours and food was a bit bland! I would not further recommend! read more

Apple Cup is a local staple. While mostly what you'd expect from a Cafe, you can't beat their breakfasts.

My husband is mildly allergic to some food chemicals. Usually, we can go to a restaurant without a problem, unless it's some place like Denny's where he reacts within a few bites of the food because it's so laden with preservatives and chemicals. There are only a few sit-down restaurants that are like that for him. This is one of them. read more

We so love this place! We cone every summer during our stay at Wapato Point in Manson & have good memories from coming here. Great, friendly service in an old homey diner. We usually have breakfast here (no matter the time of day) and we've always enjoyed everything we've tried. Versatile menu & specials each day, especially good if you're a meat-n-potatoes kind of person. We went in the afternoon this time and were seated immediately! (party of 3). Food came out quickly; the kids ordered breakfast (one from the kids menu) & I got the Club Sandwich on wheat. Very good, including the fries, but a bit dry. Solution: dipped it in my ranch dressing! (I know, NOT low-cal) We appreciate this place and will be coming back year after year! read more

I live in Chelan. I hate to write this review. I love the Apple Cup. By far the best place to have breakfast!! However, we went there tonight for dinner. Really bad service. We ordered the special with a salad. The waitress came back and said "we just ran out of salad , do you want soup or coleslaw." Hmmm we really didn't want either, but defaulted to soup. They brought the too salty soup. But the reason for this bad review is because all the tables next to us were served salads , including the couple who sat in the booths cross from us who ordered a side Caesar about 10 minutes after we ordered. Hmmmm they all got their salads but the waitress told us they were out of salads ?? Then Robin, from the bar kept coming to the kitchen picking up salads throughout our meal. Really??!!!!! Out of salad? Or really bad service. Based on this experience alone I would never recommend Apple Cup for dinner . read more

The food is very disappointing. We ordered skillet, the description says a all kind of ingredients, and last was potato. But what we got was a plate of potato( plate was even small), with a tiny bit extra in it. My main thing was ham, and I found maybe 10 pieces of ham cut into size of a pepper corn. The BOB was such an incredible bad idea. Looks like hell and tastes like heaven. Real homemade biscuits and it came together perfectly. Wife had Huevos Rancheros and it was awesome. Ok for a quick basic breakfast. Hash browns and ham good. Meal brought promptly. I asked for scrambled egg whites. I was told no because they were too busy. The place was not full. No waiting. My favorite meal is breakfast. The place we're staying at, recommended Apple Cup Cafe for breakfast. Had breakfast yesterday morning. The food was excellent. The portions was huge. Our waitress was extremely friendly. The service was outstanding. We enjoyed the Bacon & Eggs, Hashbrowns and the Chicken Fried Steak. it was delicious.
