    Our finished plates!

Came to this place for the last time today...didn't realize it was closing until today. I've been going here for 3 years and the food has never been short of phenomenal. I am such a huge fan of the servers, and the place always feels like I'm at home! The ambience is amazing. Going to miss this place.

Excellent food! Nice relaxed ambiance, service was good but not as good as when the owner was there. I can't recommend this place enough! And the apple dumpling with ice cream is outrageous!

Stopped in for a brunch date with my hubby! It's a small casual restaurant with cute apple themed decor and a little breakfast menu. I ordered the French Toast with a side of bacon and my husband got a coffee, which came in a hilarious mug, and the customizable omelette with sourdough toast. The servings were large and everything we ordered was delicious! The waitress was very kind and eager to check on us and offer refills and condiments. We will be coming back soon!

I've always loved this place. The baked potato soup is generally good, can be a little too watery at times, but still try it out. The chicken Waldorf sandwich is good. The sandwiches are large, so it's best to do a lite lunch, unless you want leftovers. The service is good and small town friendly. Definitely worth supporting a small business.

Food was great but way overpriced. Cup of baked potato soup was $7. Half of a turkey Ruben $13. No other sides. Felt ripped off.

Lunch time favorite eats. Their soups and sandwiches are amazing! Not cheap, but I'd say worth the money. Potato soup is my fave.

Or not but whoever she is, she's wonderful. We got ice cream, fudge, and truffles! All so good my pregnant heart was content. She was so gracious with samples and understood that sometimes when you're pregnant you think you want something and then it's awful. She even wanted to ensure that I sampled some of the fudged before committing. So kind! And not to mention she read the ingredients of the fudges and truffles to me so I could ensure I wouldn't get any I was allergic to. Extra mile points. The ice cream is Bluebell and the variety of flavors they have are GREAT! You can simply check the Bluebell site for which ones are gluten free which I did. We're heading back over from Port A, yes that's how great the service is in comparison to places on the island, to come here again.

The inside is clean and inviting. They are very welcome to dogs and support animal welfare organizations it looks like! We of course had to have two flights - one beer, one wine. I can't completely recall my order - the wines I remember trying were blackberry, raspberry, watermelon, and the "muscles and tattoos(?)." Every single one was amazing. I personally adored the blackberry, and my partner - who usually is not a huge wine fan at all - adored the watermelon wine. My palate isn't really built for beer, so three of the four samples we had were just good to me. There were subtle differences in the hoppiness which I really liked for dimension. There is one that stood out which was a pickle beer... if you tried the Best Maid beer and you were traumatized by how gross it is, please try this beer to recover. It is absolutely incredible. We had to buy a 4-pack to go. Speaking of which! There's also the option to take a "batch" of something you enjoyed home. It is a touch expensive, but for good reason, and if I lived closer I probably would have done that with the blackberry wine! Also, the bartender was incredible. I didn't get his name but whoever was there on the 10th around 7pm, you're super cool! Service, from getting his attention, to our order being prepared, to getting the tab completed/souvenirs bought, took no time at all. I'll have to come back down from Dallas for sure.

We were lucky to get the last serving of their evening special, Paella, which was among the best versions of this dish I have eaten, even including the first time I tried it in Barcelona back in 1959 as a college student. The portion was generous enough to satiate the five of us that shared it. With that, we added Corn Ribs, the Tuna Tostada, Patatas Bravas, and Crab Crostini. That was the perfect quantity for five. This is a five star restaurant in every regard, except perhaps for ambiance. The food was uniformly excellent and some of it was exceptional. The Tuna Tostada left me longing for more, and there was a generous amount of crab on the Crostini. The Corn Ribs brought corn-on-the-cobb to a new level. The one disappointment was that the salmon in the salad came out medium rare, which in my opinion is the way is should be served, but the menu probably should have warned that it would be prepared that way. This was cheerfully and quickly fixed, so no harm and no foul. We will surely return.

I did a ME day while the kids were at school and needed a little boost before my drive back home and when I searched for local coffee on Google maps, this was the only place that I could go because other places closed at 3pm. Mind you, it was 2:50pm, but THAT is another review. This place it super cute outside and in. I pulled up out front at 2:55pm and waited patiently in my car. Seconds after my engine went off a couple of adorable older ladies pulled in beside me and started to gather themselves and get out of the car. They helped each other over to the cafe and I to the doors. I was not about to put any pressure to rush them along so I hung back for a few minutes before going in. It's a small venue, but every little detail feels personal. These ladies were local and they knew the owner and her son. (I think that's the story I overheard). One of the ladies was like a little child in toy store for the first time ever. She was oooooh-ing and Awwww-ing about this and that on the menu and then I heard her say "BO-BA? What on earth is Boba Tea!?" Oh my goodness, I laughed out loud and told her how much fun it was hearing her discover all the things. The owner explained everything offered. Her chocolate drizzle cakes, some sort of Pecan Rolls that were to die for, and more. It was a fantastic experience and I hadn't even gotten to order yet. My coffee was perfection. They have all the milks too!! I had a coconut milk Mocha, Iced. So great! I meant to get back on the road, but I gave myself 10 minutes to just sit on the couch and chat with the ladies some more. The son of the owner apparently built the place! AND quite possibly designed and built the amazing table in the center of the cafe for social time and brain puzzle challenges. (See my photo of a tiny taste of what is on the table!) I highly recommend throwing yourself into the sweet local experience of this place. Your tastebuds won't regret it and neither will your heart. Oh! Before I go... they boast being an "evening cafe" and it's a brilliant idea! They also offer a ridiculous number of "Red Bull SPANKS" that sound really refreshing if I could drink Red Bull without Forest Gumping my way to Mexico and back because of the caffeine. Enjoy!
