I highly recommend Apple Heating & Air. I decided it was time to get air conditioning and also upgrade my heating situation. They put two mini-splits in. Haven't really needed air conditioning yet, but it's lovely to set the thermostats on the mini splits for heating and not have to use my big gas furnace, which is expensive and doesn't have a thermostat. The machines are very quiet and very efficient. Bobby & his team were very accommodating and worked really well with me and my two big dogs. The whole team is really sweet, and they cleaned up after themselves beautifully, which I so appreciate. Price was reasonable and everything was very straightforward. They got the work done in two days. I called for an estimate for a replacement unit. They wanted to schedule me a week and a half out to get one. When I asked about a possible installation -- assuming they had a good estimate -- they said it would be over a month. It's winter and we can't wait a month for heating. Would not recommend a service that does not know how to hire more people and provide prompt service for something so essential. They also started texting me back which is completely unprofessional. I never consented to texts and I called you. So call me back and ask permission before texting. read more

Bobby and his team did excellent work replacing our old furnace with a heat pump. They dealt with some really difficult to access areas in our attic and under the house, but somehow still managed to get all of the equipment in place without having to create any new openings. On top of doing good work, the team was incredibly polite and tried their best not to disrupt us as we work from home. We received daily updates on their progress and they walked us around at the end of the project to show us the equipment they installed and the new thermostat. They even pointed out other, non-HVAC items that needed minor repairs that they spotted under the house and in the attic to make sure we were aware of them. Here's my story: I had 2 other heating repair companies troubleshoot my heater problem for over a month with no resolution, and no heat (intermittently the heater went on and off, with only cold air coming out of the fan). NOTE: it's a very busy time of year as people start cranking up the heat for the first time in a year as the weather gets colder, making heating repair a somewhat seasonal occupation. Finally, a ND member recommended Apple Heating & Air. Our repairperson and owner of Apple Heating is a problem solver. I learned that he has 18+ years of experience (the other two repairmen who came each had only two years' experience). Experience matters, so like a detective he solved our heater mystery. I'm not sure what happened to the super-abundant number of super-positive Yelp reviews that used to be listed for Bobby and his company. I've worked with him for many years now and initially found him as a result of all of his many and only 5 star reviews! In any event, Bobby is truly great. He is diligent, intelligent, and kind. Yesterday he helped me by replacing the motor in our furnace, confirming that I correctly connected our Nest thermostat, and tracing all the wires to our A/C, Furnace, Fan, and Humidifier, reconfiguring where needed, and going WAY above and beyond in figuring out why the humidifier unit portion of our furnace was not working. This was no easy task, as was evidenced by our discovery that it had been disconnected by the installer when they apparently couldn't figure it out! Meantime, I'd been changing the filters to this disconnected unit for too many years to comfortably admit! :o I was SOOO impressed by the amount of time and work-arounds Bobby patiently and professionally tried to troubleshoot and then--most importantly--FIX this years-old problem. He checked all the wiring and connection points with his voltmeter, found where there were anomalies, investigated false starts, tried two different transformers (needed higher amp rating) to resolve a regular voltage and low voltage connection between the machines, and then added a relay. I sincerely doubt that many other HVAC repair people would have been so patient, diligent, or intelligent to figure out a really complicated problem that did not accord to the diagrams provided by the manufacturers. Yesterday we happened to have two contractors at our house at the same time, Bobby, and someone upstairs doing unrelated work. The other dude gave my wife the creeps, but Bobby's professionalism and kindness shone through and she really liked him. So there's that too. :) read more

We hired them during a big remodel in 2019 to replace our old furnace and ducting, and add new ducting to a few rooms on the second floor that strangely never had heat.
