You know when you have acrylics and water gets underneath and the nail begins to discolor? that does not happen at this salon! My gel manicure was just messy and uneven. Every nail is honestly different, some she left long some she left pointy. My nails were all different sizes even after I tried to address it. I just got tired and was like whatever I'll just keep them and fix them at home. My pedicure was also gross my nails weren't cut correctly and of course messy nail color I had to go home and clean them myself. Honestly I won't be coming here again. And the women ( Kaylee) seem like every time I asked for something would seem to say something to peer. I basically have to go home to even them out myself. I decided to give Apple Nail Salon another chance since the last time I went. The same thing happened with a different manicurist--nail tip was filed straight but they didn't push back and clean-cut the cuticles so my nails were shaped weirdly and had tiny bits of cuticle sticking out. You can still see them still after the manicure. The level of care in doing a great job is just not there. I'm never coming back. I can spend $38 for a gel mani-pedi and leave feeling really happy with how my nails were shaped, cleaned, and painted. Apple nail salon is by far the best nail salon in the area. Right off the bat, I have always been welcomed with a greeting which is super important to me. I always like to feel comfortable when I'm getting my nails done. My first visit was during the grand opening so I decided to give this place a try. I was lucky enough to get my nails done by Jessica. Jessica is super sweet and attentive to my nail desires. I have shown her pictures of what I wanted and with no problems, she actually exceeded my expectations. There was also another day when I was a little short on time and needed to rush, Jessica understood and worked quickly, and even with the time restraint I was not disappointed. Also side note.. The place is new and clean with sufficient chairs as well as plenty of parking. So that's a plus. And the prices are decent. So all in all, I give apple nail salon 5/5 stars. I am beyond disappointed in the service I received today by Jessica the owner of Apple Nail Salon. I have been a faithful returning customer for almost a year now never in all of my visits have I ever experienced horrible customer service until today. Kay dee and Bella are my favorite nail techs they are so sweet and kind and will go above and beyond to give me whatever I need. I'm so upset that I'll have to leave them behind. Like I said previously I have been going to this salon for a while so I'm aware of the prices; today jessica did not feel like doing nail art today so she increased the price of a simple design one that she has done for me previously $8 to $15. Instead of paying 38-40 dollars on my nails I would be paying 53 for a gel manicure, spa pedicure, and nail art which is absurd. She then began to get outraged at the fact that I would not choose to spend that much in nail art even going as far as stating "so what's the problem? The price?" when I told her that she had done a similar design for cheaper she tells me she has never done that to my nails before. I was so upset by the service I had the manicurists remove my gel manicure paid for the lack of service I was given and left. If you guys like respect and appreciate quality service this is not the place for you. I am livid that I spent my hard earned money there but I'm happy I've found several new salons to try that actually are current and up to date on nail trends. I'm no longer settling for the standard. One of the girl that did my toes were arguing with me when I asked her to correct it, she said she is very tired, had a long day. Wow, very good customer service. What is even more rude was that she continue to speak in Vietnamese. That was not professional at all. Price is ok, but of course you get what you pay for. When they do send the manager, she was also a little rude, not too friendly. I think I will just stick with Cerritos Nails and Spa in Cerritos. They don't have a problem with professionalism and keeping customers happy. If there is any issue they will take care of it right away. Yes, pricey but worth it. Terrible, horrible service! It's cheap here, but you definitely get what you paid for. Don't waste your time...go to a different place. They over-book people and there's only one person who everyone recommends - Jessica. Unfortunately, Jessica (the manager) did my nails and was in such a hurry that she made one side of my hands darker than the other side. I usually get a gel manicure and she did not allow my nails to dry all the way with the UV lights. She was so busy and preoccupied with every person that walked in that she does not attend to who she is servicing. She was rushing to finish that she does not care if your nails are messed up. Although they do good designs - that is about all they have going for them. Despite making an appointment you will always have to wait at least 15 minutes, typically 45 minutes. If you show up even a few minutes late the manager, Jessica, acts like you showed up the next day and makes you wait even if technicians are free. Mainly the issue is Jessica. She is short and rude. She acts like she is doing you a favor and has no problem taking other clients in the middle of your appointment. It has taken me 2 hours to get my manicure here before. This last time I decided to not make an appointment with Jessica for anything and go completely to other technicians. She was still rude and acting like she is too good for business - that is perfectly fine as I will take my business elsewhere. Don't think that your salon is the only one around, there are at least 20 in a few mile radius. So what if you can do designs? It's not worth being treated the way you treat your customers. read more

I love this place! They have so many gel colors to choose from. It is very clean and I love that they use stone rocks for a pedicure. Jessica has done my nails and she's absolutely amazing. I always get compliments on my nails. Because of her, my natural nails have grown yay! She doesn't damage my real nails like other places have. My experience here has been good and bad. Don't bother making an appointment, they don't honor it. I've been 3 times, all with an appointment but have always had to wait 15+ min. Jessica does good work IF she isn't rushing to finish to get to the next client. My last two appt I asked for a design, both times she forgot and didn't do it because she was rushing. Can here the other day to get a quick manicure. I was taken right away due to it being midday and there was no line. Unfortunately, minus two stars for lack of new polish colors. All the nail polish looked old and the color was changing. It was hard to choose a color because I didn't want to use the old polish...but eventually I found one that didn't look too old (except midway, the woman had to put alcohol in it to make the consistency smoother? The staff here were very nice and welcoming, however, my nails were not the best. I got a regular manicure which went well and I was very satisfied with the results. But then I got a gel set of acrylic nails, which I did not like at all. The woman doing my nails RUSHED and didn't clean underneath and left so much of the dry acrylic powder on there! She also did not brush off the powder residue on my nails so there were tiny bumps visible once the polish was applied. And the polish was applied extremely unevenly so some of my nails were fine while others were so thick. My hands were also left so sticky with acrylic. And about a week later, all of the acrylic nails began to fall off, which I have never experienced from another salon. Definitely not coming back read more

I am so disappointed! My girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a pedicure one night between work and class. I yelped to find a good salon since it has been so long since we have done this. It was a great pedicure. Very nice staff. But in the end, I ended up with fungus under my toe nail. This has never happened to me in my 35 years of getting pedicures. I treated the fungus but unfortunately I did lose my toe nail weeks later. They do a nice job of keeping the soaking bowl sanitized by using a trash bag but they do not use clean instruments for each customer. Very disappointing! read more

This was my first visit here. I was looking for one that was open later than 6pm. They weren't crowded at all. It looked to be very clean...in fact, they use liners in the foot spas - yay!! They didn't try to upsell products or services, but then again it was almost closing time.
