I waited patiently to be helped while Manager Matt repeatedly ignored me and chose to assist six other customers first even after the employee who checked me in informed him multiple times that I was next. This was not a misunderstanding. It was blatant disregard for a paying customer's time and experience. Poor customer service is already frustrating but when it comes directly from management it reflects a much larger problem within the store. No customer should be treated as if they are invisible while others are continuously prioritized ahead of them. Corporate leadership should pay close attention to how this location is being managed because experiences like this are exactly why this store continues to have low ratings and lose customer trust. Respect, professionalism, and accountability should be the standard not the exception. The product isn't worth the disrespect nor worth the time wasted. A bit of a wait to get my Belkin replacement glass applied. 10 minutes to do something I'd normally take care of myself, but when Apple applied the glass to my iPhone 14 it lasted 11 months, so why not. I also replaced my case and my 14 pro max felt like a brand new phone. Last week I purchased the new iPhone 15max pro for my wife as a Christmas gift, and although it took nearly 2 hours get through the entire transfer, what else did we have to do on a Friday night. I came in yesterday to drop off my phone for a repair covered by Apple Care. My phone's charging port wasn't allowing the phone to charge, so I could only use a wireless charger. Because of this, I was not able to back up my phone via my Macbook since the port wasn't working. I inquired at the Genius Bar how to go about the iCloud backup since I hadn't used it before. I was informed that I didn't have enough iCloud storage, but that they could perform a temporary back-up and it didn't matter how much icloud storage I had for it to work. I asked if they needed my passcode or anything so they could monitor the back-up progress before performing the motherboard replacement, and was told the backup would sync in the background and my phone would be ready in an hour & thirty minutes. I come to pick up my phone & it was a different rep, but was assured that the temporary backup will load when I login with iCloud and restore that way. Lord behold - Nothing transferred over, so I called Apple Support and was on the phone with them for about 40 mins before they came to the conclusion that there was no backup and I needed to go back to the store in case they backed it up somewhere else and not to the iCloud. I come in store and was helped by a different gentleman that explained the rep should have waited for the backup to complete as it would've taken hours for all the data to properly be stored, and that "syncing in the background" is not a thing once the phone is sent to the back. The manager offered me a phone case or charging cord - for at least 16 years of photos, important documents, and conversations down the drain. I spent about $500 on Apple care since I got the phone just to be told "Sorry you signed the waiver its not Apple's fault". Well guess what, I signed that waiver based on incorrect information presented to me, so who is really in the wrong here? I am beyond upset as I was supposed to spend Mother's day at my grandmother's grave with photos I was supposed to print out from my camera roll, but was carelessly lost by this apple store. I had important evidence on there for an ongoing court case that is now lost. Evidence I needed to show my leasing office is gone as well. read more

3rd visit here & adding the 5th star for Israel's friendly & quick service. + I enjoyed his witty pokes of fun at my vintage devices. I'm no longer embarrassed that my devices are considered dinosaurs as I refuse to purchase a new product each time it launches. However, as the beholden of my outdated devices I get to donate them back to Apple so they can refurbish the parts...not the devices itself. Goodbye iPad 2/64 GB & 3rd Gen Apple TV. I've mixed feelings about this Apple Store, and that's why I rate it 3-stars. Apple Perimeter is inside the very popular Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody. Parking is is free and always available. The best places to find parking is on the backside of the mall, the furthest away from busy and usually congested Ashford Dunwoody Road, where there is a free parking garage. It'll be more of a walk to the store, but you're going to save yourself a lot of grief trying to find parking closer to the store. Currently, The Apple Store is on the second level, and the closest anchor store is Dillard's. You can just walk into the store and browse. The displays at Apple Stores are rather minimal. Each table displays Apple devices that customers can touch, pick up, play with features, etc. One table will feature Apple Watches, another table will showcase MacBooks, and so on, and it's easy for customers to see what's on the tables. Everything on the tables are the newest versions of the devices. Physically getting to the individual devices on the tables may be difficult, especially when there are a lot of customers trying to look at the same things. Non-Apple accessories and trusted and reliable Apple-compatible items can be found against the walls. If need assistance due to your device(s) are malfunctioning, needing repairs or replacements, you'll need to make an appointment with a tech online or at the store, butthey may not be able to schedule you for a same day appointment. I've come here three times due to malfunctioning devices, all under warranty. All three times, I went online and scheduled an appointment with a tech, aka Apple Genius. I've had same day appointments and once I had to schedule the appointment for the next day. At the store entrance, I stopped to let one of the employees with an iPad know that I had an appointment. They checked me in and instructed me where to wait and have a seat. Two times my wait was at a specific table; one time I was told to have a seat in front of the big wall TV monitor. All three times, even though I had an appointment, I had to wait at least 15 minutes. This is not good. I noticed, even during my own appointments, that the Geniuses allow other customers to interrupt my time with the Genius so that that they can ask questions about Apple products. I consider this rude and poor customer service, and I wish the Geniuses and customers scheduled for appointments with them would all be placed in separate specific places away from browsing/shopping customers. This would allow the customers with appointments to get in, have their issues resolved, then leave, all without interruptions. I do have to say that, in my experiences, the Genius will either understand the issue and work quickly to resolve it, or get another Genius quickly to help resolve it. In two instances, I've had to leave my devices at the store so that it could be sent out for repairs. In both instances, I returned within seven days to pick up my repaired device. read more

However, I experienced a long wait here when I was trying to do a trade-in for my phone. I did like that they told me to come back the next day when I forgot my identification the previous day (dumb me lol) and that there were available appointments. I watched as other customers got helped, and I think it was at least 15 minutes maybe more. It's just as crowded as it's always been but organized. The store is appointments only currently. When you check in you're asked to sit at a specific table to wait for your Genius. Apple Stores have always had a clean, minimal setup so staying organized and clean during Covid hasn't been an issue. Masks are not required, but Geniuses wipe down their area after helping a customer and there's sanitizer at each table. You're asked to use a wipe before trying on headphones. I tried the AirPods Max and the noise cancellation is amazing. iMacs now come with the Magic Mouse and Magic keyboard (sans numeric keypad). The 21.5" and 27" models are silver. The 24" model is available in seven colors that still don't include black. As half of my wardrobe is white I'm unbothered but I have friends who like black, and I feel this creates an intentional distinction between Apple and Andy products. iPhone 12s come with a lightening cable, but the other end plugs into a USB-C brick, which is not included because surely you'll buy a MagSafe charger. The cases on display are all single-piece units that you snap your phone into. There's rubber, silicone, matte, glossy, plain, color blocked, floral, MagSafe cases, and more. There's also a leather MagSafe wallet attachment in 5 colors. There are wooden stools at the presentation table and Genius Bar tables, as well as lower wooden seats in a single open space. read more

Shame on you Apple Perimeter... literally the worst experience ever, 10/10 do not recommend. If it weren't for Nadine, Taylor and the sweet girl at the front (never caught her name) but I've checked in with her twice now, shoulder length hair with glasses, I would literally rate this place in the negatives if possible. I own all Apple devices, but this was my first time needing a device serviced, in this case, my semi-new Apple AirPods Max. Three months into using them, I started experiencing what I personally believe to be a glitch. My right ear would make a sort of white noise. Audio played fine, but there was a fuzzy, static noise that would play in the back of audio during EVERY use. I googled the concern and found that many other AirPods Max owners were experiencing the same thing. With my AirPods being 3 months old, they were still in very new condition so the issue concerned me. I brought my headphones to send to repair on Dec 21st. Nadine helped me in jotting down the deets of my headphones and explained to me what's to come next. I arrived to pick them up a week and some change later on 12/30 and upon unboxing them, they not only came back with damage (scratch on the right cup that was NOT there before) but the problem persisted. When I communicated my concern over the scratch, the rep at the time told me I needed to contact Apple tech, all while Apple tech is telling me my concerns need to be taken up with Apple Perimeter. Go figure right? This is where I lost it...I called tech that weekend and was transferred to a Michael from repairs at Perimeter. Michael communicated to me that "the repair team basically constructed the AirPods so if they are saying nothing is wrong, then nothing is wrong with them." Then he LIES and says, "ahhh this is sticky Fiona bc the person who took your headphones in wrote down that your headphones were scratched upon coming in." So of course, I asked him where? I also had a personal copy of the typed up diagnosis and nowhere did it list any scratch. This was CONFIRMED upon bringing my headphones in a second time. Also may I reiterate, my AirPods are literally new. On 1/12, Taylor was exceptional at helping me get my concern to the repairs team (again) requesting a replacement be sent back. He jotted down every single detail, took photos of the scratch and made sure communication was transparent this time around. The next week, my headphones were back and the right ear and band were replaced. THIS time when unboxed, an orange what looks like fingerprint smack center of the brand new headband. At this point, I cannot believe it bc are you f'ing kidding me APPLE?!!! Is there no regard for the money spent here? Any regard for my $600 headphones? Nadine assisted with a alcohol wipe that got it out, but the carelessness at this location is mind blowing. Luckily, the issue seems to be resolved now but God I hope I never have to leave my pricey gadgets in their hands ever again. The service was disgusting from start to finish. read more

I came in to get my phone repaired and after realizing I was close to needing an upgrade decided to get a new phone. Because of some issues on my end, the process to upgrade and trade in my old device was continuously crashing. The woman helping me (Devin) was so patient and tried so many times but when we realized it wasn't going to work, I walked over to ATT and resolved the issue that was holding us back. I came back to the Apple Store and was able to finally do the trade in. System decided to glitch out and not give me the deal that was initially offered.... The manager Darryl was so so helpful and made sure that I left with a smile on my face. They honored the quote since it was clear something was happening, and even gave me a a case for my patience (it was a 4 hour day trying to figure stuff out) Daryl was so patient and kind throughout the process while maintaining a calm and friendly attitude. Could have been way worse considering the issues but they tried their best and made it work! read more

Avoid this location! Appointment times mean absolutely nothing. Long wait times (even with an appointment time) and uninterested staff. Running more than an hour behind an appointment time can happen but at least acknowledge and apology to the customer -- or better yet, notify them you are unable to keep appointments. The associate at the front checked me in, said it will be about 20 mins for a Genius. Probably about 1-3 o'clock I probably went around and as I sat I probably waited no longer than 15 mins before someone walking calling my name. I explained my problems the Genius associate all the necessary steps to get my problem resolved. Located in the Perimeter mall. It was strangely not packed with shoppers like the apple stores that I'm used to visiting. We went there to pick up a new pair of AirPods, but they recommended that we wait for the new ones to come out. The sales associate said the new ones would cost the same as the old ones, which were in stock, but soon they would be in with both available at the same price. That didn't seem to make sense, why wouldn't the older model cost less? We would have picked up the old ones today if they were less, and probably would have bought new ones later on. We ended up buying nothing, and will wait a week to see if the new ones come in. read more

I just received the worst customer service I have ever gotten in my life from this Apple Store. 1st off I waited 35min to even be acknowledged by a staff member not even a hello. Then a customer service rep by the name of GREG walker by me 3/4 times looked at me and never said a thing. Then one of the mangers by the name of PHOEBE. Then another customer let her know that I have been waiting there for 35min she waved her hands dramatically in the air and stated " someone will be there to help him in a min" not a hello or anything she just kept walking. I will never purchase anything from this location ever again. I do not care if I have to drive to Alaska to go to an Apple Store. This was horrible and apple should get rid of these people that are representing there brand. I run my life on these products from my watch to my I.Pad to my phone. Frankly, just too many bad experiences here to rate it any higher than the electronics section at your local Walmart. In this review, I'll just describe the most recent to keep things digestible. To put it lightly, this Apple Store is a customer service disaster of massive proportions. From the poorly trained employees to management, they frankly don't know how to handle the most basic customer interactions. The wait: The experience started off with having to wait 25 minutes with an appointment until seeing the actual technician who could look at my phone. This is at a time when many employees around the store were simply standing around and chatting with one another, not helping any customers. Unacceptable.This kind of wait time is disrespectful to your customers and resulted in me missing a different reservation later in the evening. Prior to that, someone came by asking me to turn off Find My Phone for no apparent reason, as the visit didn't even result in a replacement or repair. This was wasted time again. Careless customer service: You spend extra money on a product to get great service, right? No the case with this store. They were not willing to fix a defective device that should have been covered under warranty. This experience overall was stressful, disappointing and frankly, I don't know what I've done wrong other than purchasing an Apple device to deserve this kind of service. Jeff, the manager, was probably the least capable manager I've met in retail. I'd personally would not feel good about myself if I gave a penny more of my money to apple either for a repair or a new device. As a matter of fact, I walked into the store originally to get the phone fixed under warranty and also to purchase a new unlocked phone as a christmas present. Apple customer service just isn't what it used to be. I returned a $1500 computer and it was supposed to go to a gift card, but didn't show which one (I have 4). Two of them I wasn't sure I even had anymore, so I didn't want to leave without knowing my $1500 was actually in my possession. I was told I had to call Apple support and they couldn't help me in store. That may or may not be true, but I was told I couldn't stand there while I called to confirm. I was polite the entire time (I used to work retail) and while they were polite in tone as well, I was clearly being pushed to leave the window, eventually being told I had to go and couldn't stay to confirm the receipt of my return. I spent about 20 minutes in front of the store talking on the phone and eventually discovered it was sent to a discarded gift card and I'd have to call back in 24 hours to have it transferred to one I had. I understand not every process or system is available to the store, but they essentially told me "good day you're on your own" and I wouldn't expect that when $1500 is floating out there somewhere I don't know. read more

Had to pick up a gift for Father's Day! Ran in to grab an Apple Watch but once again I didn't have much time. I was nervous because I only had about 15 minutes and the place was super packed. I was greeted and asked if they could help and I told them what I needed, they told me to just stay the area and someone would be out to help me in a moment. Immediately I saw another rep who had helped me before he remembered me and said he would get someone right away. Ahmed came over and helped me and with in 7 minutes I was in and out and I even added apple care to my other device. The Apple stores have been super fast and efficient. AVOID AT ALL COSTS... GO TO APPLE LENOX INSTEAD. I dropped off my computer to be repaired at the Apple Store Perimeter Mall on Wednesday 9/6/23. I was told that it would be ready by Monday 9/11/23. I called Apple to check on the progress and Apple said that it had been delivered at 9:23 AM at the front desk of the Apple Store Perimeter Mall. Even though I did not receive an email from Apple Perimeter Mall that it was ready, I came down here at 4PM. I was told that there is a "check in process and the computer needs to be checked before they call the customer that it is ready.". I told them I desperately need the computer for a class tonight. One manager named David told me that it wasn't there and that they would call me when it's ready and that it will be delivered via FedEx. Another manager "Deangeles(?)" told me that it was probably delivered to FedEx and was still in transit. He even gave me a tracking number (which didn't work). I called Apple support back. They confirmed that it was delivered to the store via UPS at 9:23AM that morning: I told a third manager I'm concerned about my computer and I just want it back. I raised my voice out of frustration and told other nearby customers to "go to Apple Lenox instead." This third manager had security kick me out of the store and that I am not allowed to come into the store again. Even without all the drama, several employees were just standing around chit chatting when the store had ALL DAY to "check in my computer and make sure that it's ok". It's now 5:10PM, they won't allow me in the store and they won't give me back my computer (even though I asked them to just give me back my compute). They're dishonest, unprofessional and inefficient. Now I'm without my repaired computer that Apple fixed because the Apple Store Perimeter Mall refuse to release it to me (Who knows when they'll get around to "checking it to make sure it's ok". read more

The appointment process is smooth but the in store process is not impressive. A lot of techs chatting it up with each other - watching people wait. A bunch of people standing around monitoring stuff. I checked in for a 3:15 appointment at 3:08 and it's 3:29 as I type. Not an impressive experience at all. It's 3:46. The "tech" told me they have my replacement in stock and they are waiting for it. About 15 minutes pass and they tell me...sorry we can find the one we have for you and we will not take it from our store inventory. I was told by Apple to down here. Drive an hour, waste gas, take a few hours out of my afternoon for a replacement to tell me they now don't have them in stock. After they told me they did have them in stock. The nice tech suddenly turned to another personality and said. I'll get my manager. Now waiting for the manager at 3:47. The manager comes over and had zero empathy and was useless in resolving the issue. She did not even offer to check with another store to make sure it was not a total loss of s tripe. Why would he say you they have them, when they don't. The manager said they won't be on for 5 -10 business days. I said never mind. This is just wrong that you would waste my time like this when you have the product in the store. She said "well if you leave you realise that I won't be doing anything to get these for you". I don't have any complaints about this place. I mean, it's an Apple Store. It looks like any other Apple Stores. It's clean, has a ton of device you can try out, and you can buy over-priced electronics. I came in looking to buy an iPad Pro. The salesperson was helpful and answered all my annoying questions. I was worried he would try to do the salesman thing and convince me to buy the bigger, expensive one. But he didn't. I already wanted the expensive one anyway. Since there are a lot of people here, you need to wait. When I decided to buy my iPad Pro, I had to wait for them to fetch it from the back. It wasn't a long wait. At least you didn't have to wait in a queue for a cashier. The sales person has a device, and you can pay with them without waiting in line. I tried using my Android phone to pay (sacrilegious!), and it wouldn't work. :( That's okay. I understand why it wouldn't. I just used my credit card, and it was fine. These days, you can buy the stuff online. But I did enjoy asking questions and seeing the devices in person. It helped me make my choice better. read more

What's not to love about the Apple store? Apple products as far as the eye can see and enough staff that you are usually helped within moments. This location is nice and big, so unless it is jam packed, you can usually move around without bumping into anyone else. My favorite part of buying from Apple stores is you can either use you iPhone and check out yourself and never even talk to a person (the Apple Store app allows you to scan and pay with your Apple ID) and walk right out. If anyone says anything, you just hold up your phone showing the receipt (I'm pretty sure an alert goes to all the employees so they know items were paid for). Your other choice, is finding an employee and they use their iPhone (or Apple device) and they swipe your card, and if it is the one on your Apple ID account, it emails your receipt automatically. No info to give the guy. WOOT! Gotta love technology. My return experience has also been good - ask for Oz if you get the chance. It was super painless. Again, because of the Apple ID/purchase, a simple scan brought up all the info and the money was back on my card in under 2 minutes. Spacious Apple store and pretty busy almost all the time. I bought several Apple products here and service has been helpful every time. Expect an Apple personnel to approach you and offer their help. If not, then definitely report it because that would be unusual. I've been coming to this location since I bought a Mac Pro (May 2014) for the One to One sessions. If I would have reviewed this Apple Store on Friday, I would have given it at least a 4 star... I bought my iPhone then and they were way good to me; opening boxes and testing accessories. Today however, it was a different shift and they were so ghetto. You mean I can just walk in and use one of yalls computers?? Are you sure?? OK...How do I use it. I swear people if I have to die tryin, I am getting me one of these Macs.
